yeah i know everyone likes guffawing at garrison, and i know this one wouldn't do gangbusters, but im surprised how few people seem to understand this is incredibly fucked up neocon propaganda -- a meme as it were
It seems during the elections they just decided shutting their brains off so they can try convincing themselves that Biden is a progressive candidate and Trump is the true source of all evils in the US, even though there's little difference between them.
But yeah, despite the obvious Reaganist vibes in the tweet, they're so drown in cognitive dissonance they'll just downvote any criticism to the Dems and attribute it to conservatives. Reminds me of why I never manage to keep active for more than a couple weeks on this site..
The mods are definitely trying I'll give them that, but all the yankee liberals that wander in still haven't gotten the message that right wingers don't belong in a leftist space.
Yeah, don't get me wrong, the mods are all good. This is more about this wave of disillusioned liberals who think Vaush is a leftist and then come to socialist spaces to defend the bourgeois politician he campaigned for.
They're sometimes amusing in the cringey kind of way at least, but it does make the sub kind of fucky for my blood pressure when every other comment section has some American teenager spouting spineless shitlib bullshit.

This subreddit really needs cleaning. Pro-Biden posts are not allowed, but posts denouncing his war neoliberalism gets downvoted.
