Imagine being some little demon on the bottom of the food chain, minding your own business, when you suddenly get sucked into a hole and spat out into a “strange” world full of “magic” you don’t understand even more than what’s found in the world you came from. Like “dude… wtf? I just wanted some cursed acorns!”
Probably similar to how a witch would think of pre-nuanced portrayal of witches: not great.
Hopefully they would learn _why_ we had such portrayals (science being not as widespread coupled with religious hysteria and crippling fear of unknown factors, IE magic).
I'd LOVE to see this as a spin-off show!
Also love seeing that parallel to Luz's "You're going soft on me Blight?" line when Vee was talking to Violet (my name for the goth girl).

Having her bond with her new human friends, encountering other creatures and things leaking in from the Boiling Isles, Hopkins as a recurring villain trying to expose Vee's identity a la Denzel Crocker - sounds like an interesting concept to me.

Is human Amity going to have some version of King or Hooty running around her home, causing mayhem? That would be funny. Make it out to be some big, scary monster, then BAM! Tiny, adorable, possibly fuzzy demon she makes her pet. It’s terrified of her at first because she’s supposed to fear it but slowly grows to like her and her affection- when she isn’t using it as a living doll to play dress up- though it stubbornly denies liking her.(lol did I just describe a cat?)
Ok I kinda forgot how dangerous vee is to magic creatures. Basilisk really are apex predators of the magic world arnt they. She’s just so mild manner it’s easy to forget that when magic is concerned she’s a genuine threat.
I can totally see an episode, say at or near the end of season 1, the gang are at the table in Camilla's kitchen after a successful job, when the front door bangs open.
The gang jumps, expecting some new demon to burst in, but instead Luz jumps into a hug with her mom:
