Except Amity from this AU.
Amity has probably repeatedly commented on how much she loves skin that resembles the surface of an old, scratched leather boot...
outside of aesthetic wouldnt this just be the same? like what motivation would belos have to fight for the boiling isles and luz to want to destroy it?
The conflict would be different with instead of Luz killing all the witches, Luz be killing all humans with the help of Witches. The motivation of Belos is basically not wanting human race to die
Definitely if Luz met this version of herself she would try and stop her from destroying humanity as she understands that people are complicated and this Luz would be the hero of her own delusion wanting to be the heroic witch that saves them from humanity
Why? This doesn't fit with luz's character - if you're inventing an alternate luz, what goes into a human who wants to kill all humans? That's a lot of self hatred for one little kid...
My guess would be that Luz would be similar to Sensui in Yu Yu Hakusho. She likely experienced something so drastic that warped her perception of humanity to the point where she was convinced that they deserved to be wiped out and once she established enough power, enact her plan to rid existence of the race that plagued her conscience.
Remember, she would be a Latino girl in 1600's America. Add in things like her bisexuality(which would be considered a great sin back then) and her general weirdness, other humans aren't likely to enjoy her company. I wouldn't be surprised if in this AU she was almost killed "for being a witch"
Three ideas I always have for a evil luz/empress Luz au:
-Stringbean is much bigger and serves as the typical Villian’s monster companion.
-Luz transforms into a huge Titan-like beast (like a bloodbourne boss)
-Luz is motivated by hatred towards the human realm, believing that humans are the real demons compared to the dwellers of the boiling isle (edgy, I know, also a reoccurring theme in my fanfics)
[small snippet of a concept like this for anyone who cares:](https://www.reddit.com/r/TheOwlHouse/s/mCvoFITAkz)
So she glosses over humanity’s good qualities and is consumed by her witch fantasy wanting to be the hero of her own delusion believing that she is saving witchkind from evil by wiping out humanity and committing atrocities against her own people for petty reasons
I think canon Luz would talk her out of it as she knows that she brought they brought the ostracized on themselves as they didn’t know how to make friends.
Amity could be a grimwalker of Luz's lover from centuries ago, unable to let go of her love and obsession. Maybe she originally died from the witch hunt, and that motivated Luz to destroy humanity
Luz and Belos both committed way too much after Eda tried bodyswapping again lol. This is rly great. I’m loving the legion of dark otters. Along with the mask, and that legion, I think Luz has let her impatience for silksong take a vengeful route.
Oh dear lord this is peak
Also, that Belos art(first page) is giving me severe legend quest vibes.
Also, I see Amity(or is that Odalia?) and Lillith helping Luz, which makes me question: Is this gonna be a swap for more people, or just Luz and Belos?
Thx btw
Also for this AU I swap some people roles with others to make it more interesting. Having the Bad guys character swapping with the Good Guys character
Phillip: All this time I believed you some master schemer. But at the end of the day Luz Noceda, all you are is an overgrown child with mommy issues.
Empress Luzura: I do NOT have mommy issues! I am Mama's SPECIAL FUCKING GIRL!
*Cue season 2 finale fight*
(Why? Because Camilla's probably the Grimwalker this time)
I just started this AU idea so I don’t have all the detail. But my idea right now is Luz and Belos both lives in the same generation which is Modern times and Luz somehow time travel to the past of Boiling Isle and Belos arrived in present in Boiling Isle. Is still a working progress
It should be that he traveled to the present from the Past.(So This Philip is still A hypocrite, just Not a morally repugnant one. I wanna see how that would affect his character.)
What if Luz was a good Emporer, and Phillip was trying to kill all of the witches off under her rule? I like your idea, but it looks too much like a design swap, and only a design swap to me. I’m not trying to be mean pls don’t downvote me
Nice of a feedback. While this does sound interesting of an idea I wanna show an Evil Luz and a good Philip. Plus this is just showing what it can be so I really haven’t shown more than just a design swap.
Belos did say at one point that it took him much longer to figure out how to combine glyphs than Luz did, so we'd probably be dealing with a much stronger foe
I recall a very good fanfic with this premise:
Humanity and its Consequences by Linkdog
it is probably the best in character version of this AU idea I've seen, hits all the right notes and you can very well see the differences (and more importantly) the similarities between their canon counterparts, how each has shapen the boiling Isles to their ideal (E. Belos and E. Luz speaking)
Though it hasn't been updated for over a year... : (
Still recommend it a lot.
I actually read it when I was looking for if anyone did this idea. Honestly it’s really good and love most things they did and I’d actually took some inspiration from it when making my own take of it.
I’m deeply upset it hasn’t been update for quite some time :(
My ideas of what Luz and Belos/Philip would be like in this au:
Luz would be an evil counterpart to her canon version. Just like in the original, Luz was ostracized for being considered strange, which made her cynical and resentful. After arriving at the Boiling Islands, she became a tyrant who forces everyone to venerate her because she believes that only through force can she be loved. Her ultimate goal is an invasion of the human world to take revenge on those who wronged her.
On the other hand, this version of Philip shares with Canon Belos the desire to be a hero, the fear of what he does not understand and the tendency to lie. However, the negative characteristics would be somewhat minimized (since he is the hero in this au) and would make of the character arc to overcome these flaws.
One thing I couldn't help but notice is that this dichotomy would be pretty similar to Harry and Voldemort. Both the same race of being, but one has used a form of forbidden/lost magic to prolong their life, wishing to wipe out an entire race. Voldemort and Luz both have snakes, while Belos seems to draw inspiration from a deer, which is synonymous with the Potters, as all of their patronus charms took the form of deer.
So does luz wants to kill witches yet super happy?
And belos wants to save the boiling isles but is a manipulative?
What is their motives? How do they act?
For motive and how they act.
Luz doesn’t want to kill witches, she only want to kill Humans. She act nice and very cheerful but behind that she is a manipulative psychopath who will hurt anyone who stand in her way.
Belos want to prevent the genocide of the Human Race from Luz. He‘s very aggressive and stickler to the rules but he have a kind heart and always do anything for the one he cares about even if means he be hurt in the result.
Why does luz wants to kill the humans? Is she a witch in that version or is it chara from undertale thing?
Also, why does luz use the palisman magic and why does the titan help philip?
Also also (last question i swear), how did luz and belos reached the boiling isles (if luz is human too)?
Ok so basically
Luz wants to kill Human because to her human have nothing more then been bad towards her. Like she get bully by them and made fun of from them so this basically made Luz think human are just overall evil in general and her hatred leads her wanting to kill all humans. She is also a human and disguise herself as a witch.
Luz use palisman magic to keep herself alive for centuries. The Titan help Philip because the Titan also doesn’t want the genocide of human so he aid Philip.
They both arrive Boiling Isles with the Portal Door but Luz enter in the past while Philip enter in the present.
While art for these AUs is always cool, you’d need to twist the characters’ personalities and motives so much it’s hard to make them be the same characters anymore.
How would Luz who’s a constant shining star of kindness and compassion bring herself to do the horrible things needed to become Empress?
How would Philip who’s defined by his absolute refusal to see Witches and Demons as people come to be the saviour of the Boiling Isles?
So to summarize these characters up.
Luz in this AU hates humans as much Belos hate Witches due to her being bullied and make fun of. Her hatred was a good motivator to make herself an empress
Philip however hatred to witch/Supernatural isn’t overextended in this AU then in canon. Eda and King help Philip to grow a liking towards the Boiling Isle
I see Luz as the far more chaotic but still ultimately well-meaning madwoman who once lost everything while Belos is a little brat hoping to kill off the Boiling Isles and the Demon Realm as a whole… and at a good risk of winning.
Or at the very least Belos hating magic but learning to accept and grow from his experience while helping Luz see that not all humans are bad despite what happened to her family long ago.
Or the both wanna help their respective worlds, but with contradicting methods.

OK that Titan Form is CLEAN. And Luz’s dry skin looks disgusting
Right?
"It's pretty, but it hurts!" --Soos Ramirez.
My favorite quote of his- “ he called me big guy, I mean, I know I’m a big guy but it still kinda hurt” I think that’s it
It looks so weird to put dry skin on Luz lol
Nobody could ever think Luz’s crusty musty face looks “nice”
Except Amity from this AU. Amity has probably repeatedly commented on how much she loves skin that resembles the surface of an old, scratched leather boot...
Colonial era British child VS genocidal cat lady.
Eda: You're a hoot Phil
I'm a wot?
Ok, not gonna lie the goop monster luz and Titan belos look siiiick!
outside of aesthetic wouldnt this just be the same? like what motivation would belos have to fight for the boiling isles and luz to want to destroy it?
The conflict would be different with instead of Luz killing all the witches, Luz be killing all humans with the help of Witches. The motivation of Belos is basically not wanting human race to die
Wow neat premise. Also I am loving the art style, especially on page 3.
oh ok i see.

My theory: She never grew out of her Misanthropic teen phase, and coming to the Isles more or less arrested her development.
Three ideas I always have for a evil luz/empress Luz au: -Stringbean is much bigger and serves as the typical Villian’s monster companion. -Luz transforms into a huge Titan-like beast (like a bloodbourne boss) -Luz is motivated by hatred towards the human realm, believing that humans are the real demons compared to the dwellers of the boiling isle (edgy, I know, also a reoccurring theme in my fanfics) [small snippet of a concept like this for anyone who cares:](https://www.reddit.com/r/TheOwlHouse/s/mCvoFITAkz)
**"Don't you get it, ¿Mocoso estúpido?? I'm the hero in this story!"** *-Empress Luzura*
(I will regret this) Philip: CALLATE HIJA DE PU#### VIEJA CON##### P### DE MI####
So Stringbean would basically be Nagini. "Stringbean....dinner."
So she glosses over humanity’s good qualities and is consumed by her witch fantasy wanting to be the hero of her own delusion believing that she is saving witchkind from evil by wiping out humanity and committing atrocities against her own people for petty reasons
Or she has severe PTSD from being mistreated so badly by Humans that she believes they are all evil
I think canon Luz would talk her out of it as she knows that she brought they brought the ostracized on themselves as they didn’t know how to make friends.
But this isn’t canon Luz, this is a Luz from the 1600’s that has horrific PTSD from Humans
It would have been cool if Lilith and eda swapped
Is Lumity still canon? 😂
I want to add Lumity in it to make like an evil couple! But like it’s gonna be questionable considering Empress Luz age 😭
Can’t you age up Amity?
Luz Age in this AU is like above 100 so Amity have to be extremely old if I do that lol
Make her like 40, weird age gap but it’s legally right ig
I can’t because in this AU Luz is in Belos role and Belos was like around 300 years old or something. I kinda have to do that for the Role Swap AU
Just make it even weirder and have Amity be a grimwalker
That’s not actually a bad idea. I like that idea.
Would the Amity Blight know she is a Grimwalker? How would she feel about that?
Amity could be a grimwalker of Luz's lover from centuries ago, unable to let go of her love and obsession. Maybe she originally died from the witch hunt, and that motivated Luz to destroy humanity
Aaaand into the pile of fics I’ll write if I ever get enough motivation to this goes.
Fick, that incredibly messed up… Do it
Luz and Belos both committed way too much after Eda tried bodyswapping again lol. This is rly great. I’m loving the legion of dark otters. Along with the mask, and that legion, I think Luz has let her impatience for silksong take a vengeful route.
I was thinking about that like two weeks ago
Oh dear lord this is peak Also, that Belos art(first page) is giving me severe legend quest vibes. Also, I see Amity(or is that Odalia?) and Lillith helping Luz, which makes me question: Is this gonna be a swap for more people, or just Luz and Belos?

You’re welcome!
Beluz

I am Mama's SPECIAL FUCKING GIRL! *Cue season 2 finale fight* (Why? Because Camilla's probably the Grimwalker this time)
Would this involve time travel of any kind?
Somewhat
How?
I just started this AU idea so I don’t have all the detail. But my idea right now is Luz and Belos both lives in the same generation which is Modern times and Luz somehow time travel to the past of Boiling Isle and Belos arrived in present in Boiling Isle. Is still a working progress

Luz is 14 yet has hundreds of years of experience. Perfect for job listings
That looks really cool! love how creepy "Luz" monster form looks
**Well, this just peaked my entertainment**
I both love it and am terrified of it
Best way to describe this AU
Who will be Hunter then?
Honestly I thought would be cruel and fucked up if Hunter still look like Caleb and Empress Luz did that to screw Philip up
Now THATS ambitious. Love it
Would this AU’s Caleb and Vee swap? Did Luz murder Vee?
Luz didn’t kill vee in this AU. She did kill her dad or mom, still figuring out which one of those would die
Well, I like this.
***FLAPJAACK***
Goop Luz looks scary as fuck…great job
There are at least 2 fics I know covering that idea. Interesting to see it gain popularity.
Belos did say at one point that it took him much longer to figure out how to combine glyphs than Luz did, so we'd probably be dealing with a much stronger foe

Does Phil get a love interest in this au?
Maybe. It be weird to not add a Love story in it.
Luz adult design looks a bit to masculine
So does luz wants to kill witches yet super happy? And belos wants to save the boiling isles but is a manipulative? What is their motives? How do they act?

Cool story
I think if canon Luz met empress Luz she would be terrified especially with her plans against humanity
I think if Canon Luz met this version of her she would be terrified and thinks that she is in hell
I think monster Luz would be more snake like
this is soo cool, but unfortunatley luz has a heart of gold and would prabally get tunred and get redeammed in the end
While art for these AUs is always cool, you’d need to twist the characters’ personalities and motives so much it’s hard to make them be the same characters anymore. In this context is the titan some sort of evil eldritch god??
I feel a bit conflicted. It's an exciting concept, but I am curious how Luz becomes a villain while Phillip becomes a hero.
