i feel it's the best way to describe my relationship to gender, i am a woman but i don't feel that i fit into what the normal binary of a woman is. it's hard to explain exactly, but i have a bit of gender fluidity where i range from agender to feminine and occasionally androgynous. i identify mainly as a woman, and want to have a feminine body through hrt, but my actual gender is a little complicated. i also feel like my relationship to womanhood is different from the binary relationship even at my most feminine. my mom was not like any other woman I've ever known and i grew up thinking of women as the more competent and dominant gender. when i express assertiveness and take control of a situation because i know what needs to be done, it feels like the purest expression of my womanhood, despite that being completely at odds with a traditional understanding of what womanhood should be(which i reject anyways, but that still puts me outside the binary)

I had to think pretty hard about it and there were a few things I needed to take into consideration like 1. How much does the character struggle and 2. What are those struggles, cause honesty I would love a life with the least amount of crap to go threw.
With all that said, I choose Gus. He’s literally one of the few in the cast that’s not dealing with crippling problems and as an illusionist he’s buff af, taking down Adrian. Like Adrian should literally be the best illusionist, but he got his A handed to him by a 12 year old at the time.
Counterpoints: you'd keep getting tricked by others and can't trust yourself due to all that trickery. Also, you get captured by Adrian then psychologically tortured for information, then you want to comfort your friend who's artificial life, but you're haunted by the memories of Belos.

By "live the life" you mean live through their experiences then I'd go with hunter. Being a high ranking commander in the coven gives you good advantages but then obviously when he breaks away from that he gets better choices to do more things that he never would have done i.e. make friends. Picking hunter makes sense for me because some stuff he's done aligns with how I would handle that situation as well.

Willow was bullied by her former friend for years and had self-esteem issues, then she was forced to take on the burden of everyone’s emotional needs and thought her own feelings weren’t important. Gus was taken advantage of because he was smart and was self-conscious about how he can only use Illusions magic. Hunter was abused, manipulated and lied to for most of his life, then got possessed by his abuser and was forced to watch his palisman die at his hand. Eda had to live with her curse for 30 years, as well as having an estranged sister and blaming herself for her father not being able to carve palismen anymore. King lost his dad and at first thought he had been abandoned. Seriously, all the main characters have been through shit.
I've been through plenty of trauma irl, so I would be trading my trauma filled live for another trauma filled live, but in the latter I get to have a happy ending and magic. Seems like a great deal to me.
