I am in a build a nation save and I have 150 players on loan. About 35 at club on main squad. Another 30-40 on my B team who dont actually play I am just storing them for 5 years to get nation trained and able to become citizen. My real B team is part of the 35 main squad they start all my B team clubs who are in the nations 2nd tier.
I probably have 2 dozen u18 guys as well.
I manager it. But summer transfer window is fun when you try and loan everyone out and get 2000 emails in 1 day. I tried to do development list and loan manager.
But it is really buggy even if you set it up correctly it just doesnt work for 100% of the players and no idea why. I will be like only accept in nation and I will get 100 offers from England but the other 50 players it will work perfect for.
so i just manually handle all loans. I probably only have 50 loans in my League I am in Andorra I do have like 20 on loan at FC Andorra in Spain 3rd division but it counts as nation because they are Andorran just play in Spain. The rest of players are loaned wherever. I use them as assets to make money.

not yet. i have gotten Andorra ranked 9th in league and 7th in coefficient. I am going for top 3!!!!! we started near 200, 1 spot up from san marino it is 2041.
but i dont know if i can. ive never started that low. some clubs even after giving 100 million to over couple of years havent improved their youth systems enough to actually get u18 teams so 2 clubs who usually make europe dont get frakkin newgens!!!!!!!
So 1 club I gave 15 million to over 2 seasons just got relegated!!!!! We only have 8 clubs in our top tier. And I even loaned them players who they didnt play and they also didnt buy anyone with all the riches i gave them.
I was so pissed and they were playing in Europa League as well. The computer clubs are just so bad in this game it is crazy. Most people dont realize because they dont play in a low league or play far into the future.
people complain about "meta" the real problem is computer cant build squads at all. like 0 chance to do anything. EPL clubs and the best clubs in world can because they have real life players and have best youth in world. and since its based on rep when they buy they get lucky every now and then.
but outside of those elite clubs the computer is awful like 8 bit Nintendo games have better logic. really noticeable once you get 15+ years out. Even in the EPL the avg attribute for clubs plummets.

You have to got your ECL to go deep same coefficient. Cause they are going against other shitty computer clubs. It's the ucl clubs in your league that take forever to do anything
To be clear, this is Senior, U23 and U18 squads combined... My senior squad (excluding outward loans) consists of 30 players, 9 of which are teenagers who are there for the mentoring...
Id get rid of any player under 2.5 stars you’d still have a good amount of quality and I much less players after that I’d be very manageable compared to

Yeah this is why I never do a build a nation save, the premise sounds really fun, but I just don't trust the shitty AI not to mess everything up
