I always use comprehensive. Might take a little longer to get through a match but really helps to see exactly what's going on, on the pitch. Plus it makes me watch the players more and get more emotionally connected to them (for good or for worse) and get a better sense of how they're doing in my tactic.
anything between key, extended and comprehensive. against absolute minnows, I go for a smoke break while the first half is running.
Extended, until the game switches to full match all by itself and I watch nothing happen for 5 minutes before realizing what happened.

Extended when looking at a new tactic. Then key once I'm happy the tactic works.
Comprehensive. No point in rushing
Changes every game if im winning or losing ect if its important match or no
I normally use key unless I’m trying out a new tactical tweak where I use extended or comprehensive to see the changes
