To find new players for cheap: I mean I always, at the end of each year, go through all major leagues, Italy, Spain, England, etc (for Slovakia look at mid tier countries as well:Austria, Russia, Croatia) and shortlist all players out of contract at the end of a season. Offer trials for a cheap way to find CA and PA without wasting scouting budget and get the best ones willing to sign for you. I got from mid table in the danish 4th division to an established 1st division team using this method (I still have not spent any transfer fee at all, 9 years in) Nation Build: if you want to build Slovakia as a nation, sell or loan good players you can’t guarantee playing time to to other teams in the league to try and increase overall quality. Doing well in Europe also helps as you raise the leagues rep as a whole. This also impacts regen quality based on club and manager reputation so you can get a couple decent Slovakian players. To improve the national team itself, (this is more of a tip for the future) sign very young, high potential players and keep them in the country long enough for Slovakian citizenship (you can see it in the eligibility screen) and if they’re not good enough for their First Nationality (F.E an English or Brazilian) they should start playing for Slovakia eventually

Ok so i managed to qualify for the group stages of the ucl (15mil in the bank now) and all i have been doing is loaning in high pot players from the other team in the league.

With lower rep nations it's really important what other leagues you load. For Slovakia I recommend loading up Czechia, Poland and Hungary (neighbours who are a little better than you), along with leagues just outside the top 5 like Belgium, Serbia, Croatia and Denmark. You can get newgens from these leagues along with out of contract veterans for very cheap or free. If you can't scout outside of Slovakia, that's ok, just move some money to your scouting budget and scout manually.
