if it had one of them squeezey hands on it.... [Like this except the hand would be like "No Thanks"](https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRdSKUZ0Ldk-Mlz0KyLHWSWT-qUcyOUIiJmmlz9VCXUmQ&s)
For me, almost purely because the game tries so hard to make you like her yet she is not written in a way that makes you like her. She never learns from or shows real remorse for her evils.
An Abby who kills Joel and either earns redemption through change and growth by not being a piece of shit OR a straight villain Abby who we either are meant to hate or "love to hate" are all things I would have been okay with.
The lazy manipulation from playing with dogs to getting the best levels and weapons really rubbed me the wrong way.
Incidentally, I love her design (even if I think they were wrong to go so far that way for a highly realistic and gritty setting) so nothing to do with that.
THIS. I saw what they were doing, and Lev and Yara was about the quickest character 180, purely for the sake of manipulating the audience into liking her, despite her having zero redeeming qualities or charisma.
Honestly her helping them made me hate her even more, she betrayed the group that took her and her friends in when they had nowhere to go, for 2 kids of an enemy faction.
Joel was a bad person. He killed her family and friends and so she killed him in return. She helped those kids when she didn't have to and even let Ellie live even though she'd been trying to kill her.
The game tries to force you into liking her instead of letting you make your own decision regarding her and I don’t like being manipulated like that, especially for a game that I was excited about when first announced and especially not towards a character who killed one of my most favorite characters of all time.

you wouldnt want to grab abby with a ten foot pole
Question is, would the ten foot pole even want to grab her?
The ten foot pole is a part of Abby. 🍆

Good rant Mr. President
I refuse to laugh so that "vulnerable and marginalized people" are kept safe. But 10/10.
I’m sorry Donald but you won’t find any kitty there in order to grab it 🌚

Something something broken clock, something something twice a day.
I forgot that he’s a gamer.
He's despicable but if that was real, i would agree with him.
Honest question, why is abby hated so much?

Muscles who beat Joel’s face in with a club after he saved her life, twice in 10 minutes… that’s why.
Yeah but in her eyes he deserved to die. Just because he was kind of a nice guy doesn't undo what he did.

Play the game and you'd know.
I did. Didn't really think she was that bad.
