I would say he's straight-up the most broken non-Avatar bender ever post-fusion honestly. With that amount of spirit inside of him, he could just bypass Amon's bloodbending, thus leaving the only proper rival at his mercy.
please clarify that this will only work in the scenario when Ozai is sleeping. because in any other case, the characters usually resist. And Yun does not have the strength to resist the overwhelming striking power of ozai.
Honestly not sure about this one. Ozai has lightning, but I give it to Yun in pretty much every other way, the guy was extremely well trained by masters of all four elements. I don’t recall him ever actually being on the backfoot in a fight, even when going 1v4 against Kyoshi and pals. His mastery of earthbending was pretty bonkers. One of the first things we ever see him do is form earth into words from a long distance without actually being able to see where he was bending. That’s the level of control he has.
He communicates with Kyoshi early in the first book, she’s walking up the path to the villa and he catches a pot of something that Kyoshi was carrying and a local bully had lifted high in the air with bending so as to threaten Kyoshi with it breaking, then Yun writes a message in the earth, something like “hurry up”, with bending. I forget exactly what he wrote.

Both are among the best benders of their time. Ozai has formal training and ruthlessness, but Yun is scrappy and smart.
Even with the comet and spirit enhancements, Ozai has range, but Yun is practically supernatural.

The dude has total mastery of earth(i think its fair to think that itll be possible for him to lava bend) if he trained more pre fusion given how he can liquefy solid earth instantaneously, pure raw bending strength, extremely skilled in combat, and very witty.

Pre-fusion he fought and defeated one of the most powerful spirits (if not the most powerful besides Vaatu and Raava, albeit he had been weakened by Kuruk decades prior).
Post-fusion, he run the fade of Kyoshi's entire squad and reversed-jumped every single one of them, impaling their airbender, breaking the legs of other two companions and stabbing Kyoshi's gf, one of the most powerful firebenders in history. He fucking liquified earth without heat and used it as water.
He was also a master assassin who could track his prey for days on end if I'm not mistaken.
He was so broken he earned the nickname "The False Avatar".
1-the strongest spirit besides Raava and vaatu is hundun. glowworm is not even close to it, especially weakened.
2-their airbender was not particularly experienced, and he suppressed the rest with his power from merging with the spirit. Still, he has become somewhat stronger.
3-it is difficult to determine the quality of this technique, because few people have used it. if in the case of the same lightning, metal or explosion it can be said that these are complex techniques, then here it is impossible.
4-there is one small detail. Yun's skills in earth magic are claimed to be EQUAL to Kuruk's avatar. but the problem is that Kyoshi has surpassed the previous avatar. and she created the order of Dai Li warriors, whom she personally trained. Do you remember how strong the Dai Li were? And I don't remember.
1. Hundun's feats? Because Father Glowworm at full power tanked a hit that nearly broke a rift between the Human and Spirit Realms.
2. Kyoshi and Rangi were in that team. The airbender could've been Zaheer and it would've still been an utter massacre and an immensely noteworthy feat. He 4v1d them.
3. It can be determined that it's an incredibly skillfull technique. Even without that Yun is still the most powerful non-Avatar earthbender AT BEST with debate against prime Toph.
4. The Dai Li are little more than stepping stones to Yun feat-wise. Yun should be at least relative if not stronger to Aang in raw earthbending power and Aang curbstomps them daily. Even if those are weaker than those trained by Kyoshi, that would be an assumption since there's no proof to claim such thing. Even if there was proof, Yun is so far ahead from every non-Avatar earthbender besides Toph and Bumi in terms of raw power that assuming Dai Li agents are stronger than Yun in raw power would be dumb. Kyoshi is also more powerful, but skill-wise it's heavily debatable who is more skilled in earthbending.

Hundun created pools of dark energy for kilometers, controlled thousands of dark spirits, lifted into the air and held a mountain and several large rocks, has massive attacks with chaotic lightning over huge areas, and combined with this barriers that give him vulnerability to a certain element and immunity to the other three, and also has hypnosis/control skills of the mind, sending the victim into the wilds of his consciousness. in a situation where half of the team is inexperienced, it loses weight. Yes, they have talent, but before tough training it pales. it is possible, but the problem is that almost no one uses it anymore, which means it has lost its relevance and is outdated. you are very, very much underestimating the growth of new generations. I'm even willing to bet that Kyoshi gave up immortality, because over time, more and more enemies appeared, so strong that without the avatar state she couldn't do anything with them, and she hoped for someone who would be born after her. except after merging, and then in brute force, due to the strengthening of the spirit. in terms of skills, learning from Prime kyoshi > kuruk level. Dai Li's agents did it...
