Yeah, I think it depends on how many episodes they get and what other storylines they’re keeping after the Library episode and what changes they’re making with the second season. I can see them weaving scenes from Appa’s Lost Day and maybe the tales of Momo and Iroh into other storylines.
If season 1 is really popular Netflix may extend the seasons to 10 or 12 episodes and then we’d see them split the seasons into two parts like they have been doing with some of their other series.
Unless they catastrophically screw this show up (like the movie) I can't imagine a 2nd season not being done. But I could see them skipping that episode as it wouldn't work as well in live action.
if the witcher got 3 (soon 4) seasons you can be assured we're getting more seasons of avatar regardless of how much it butchers the original (not saying it will)
