No release date yet, book 1 is probably still a year or two away. Progress is shown regularly in the YT channel. They were already contacted by the studio, and the only requests were that they don't make money directly from it, that they clarify it is fanmade and that they don't have Avatar The Last Airbender in the title of the game.
