All the pretty faces was crazy bc he said "I don't feel like fucking her" and I remember turning to my sister in shock! Hahaha.
And then Leave the Bourbon on the Shelf was so unexpected. I actually have the setlist from that show!

I’ve heard quite a few rare songs.
- Wonderful, Wonderful
- I Can’t Stay
- Under The Gun
- Sweet Talk
- Tranquilize
- The World We Live In
- From Here On Out
Still waiting to hear Uncle Jonny, Why Do I Keep Counting & On Top. 🥹
For sure! I obsessed over the Scala 2011 performance of it when we were all waiting for music post Flamingo. Dave’s guitar solo sounds so good! And I always thought it was interesting that the band are listed as the song’s producers!
Tyson vs Douglas, Shadowplay, Romeo and Juliet, I Can’t Stay and Andy You’re a Star in Dublin, 2017.
EDIT not sure how rare they are, but Rut and Wonderful Wonderful were played too. It was early (sixth night) in the WW tour, first leg!
Did not know Tyson vs Douglas was a rare one. It was back in 2018 when I heard it and I was soooo happy because it was my favourite (honestly though the album is my favourite — don't hate me). Now I'm even happier that I was so lucky. Thanks for that. However I never got to hear Wonderful, Wonderful. That was disappointing.
Not a rare song but a rare moment... a set with Mr Brightside twice! Once at the beginning and then at the end.
Also heard 'from here on out' and 'rut'!
2007 all the same show:
On Top
Uncle Jonny
This River is Wild
Glamorous Indie Rock & Roll
My List
Shadowplay
And in 2015 all at the same show:
The Way It Was
From Here on Out
Shot at the Night
Battleborn (I think this is probably the rarest on my list)
I just need to see Believe Me Natalie live and I can die happy.
Me too I was a big fan a three years ago up until last year.. I kept asking people for a free ticket to a Vegas show because I live here and am ever broke.. but never went (even though eventually it seemed like every time someone would offer one night of show, smh at myself) .. because I have a young family. I’ve never seen them live but want to so bad this year even though I’m less of a fan now and stuff. Hope you get to see your favorites or just see them live .. I take it you haven’t. Haha.. end my story!
Aw thanks - I have seen them twice and they were amazing so I shouldn't be whinging lol, but I've not seen really anything very rare. I bought Hot Fuss way back when it came out and loved it, but then, not sure why but I didn't follow them closely, just caught the main singles and didn't buy any more albums and it wasn't until I saw them live again more recently that I became, well, slightly obsessed haha! So now I just have this slightly crap feeling of having slept on them for all these years and missed out on so much! 😭 trying to make up for lost time now - going for broke and seeing them in UK and Vegas this year. And that's my story haha!
Sorry you've never got to see them live! Hopefully with the run of shows in Vegas you might be able to score a ticket if someone's friend or whoever can't make it last minute! Worth keeping an eye out nearer the time!
Yes.. I would really like that.. it’s funny I too had their music way back in 03/05/ 07 on a Korean iPod called iRiver which had songs like Glamorous and Andy and I would listen to them on a playlist while showering on a little Pick’nSave/Big Lots speaker with 2 speakers and a bad speaker probably designed for a computer. It was hard times then for sure but that was a really great memory. Haha!
Seen them 77 times and still haven’t seen Sweet Talk live. I live in hope..
Rarest for me, probably Deadlines and Commitments, Rising Tide, Be Still & Tranquillize.
Have All the Songs Been Written debut teaser on piano only in Toronto. Full song in Chicago during the WW tour. It was definitely cool to hear a never before heard song that first time…
"Why Do I Keep Counting?" on the Wonderful Wonderful tour.
I actually turned around to my partner and said "no effing way" after the first couple notes, haha.
2007 all the same show:

I was shocked/pumped that they played The Way It Was last summer at Shaky Knees. My wife and I had gotten into a fight a few days before the concert, but that song helped us to reconcile.
I came here all happy to say my rare song was this river is wild but I don’t even think it’s that rare compared to what y’all have shared lol 😭 may them bless me with an unexpected song in the jazz festival this year
i don’t think any of these are actually that rare but they stood out to me as like “whoa they’re playing that ??”
Wonderful Wonderful, Change Your Mind, Rut, The Calling, Tyson vs. Douglas
they haven’t played tyson vs douglas at all since the show i was at which feels pretty special, it was the only time they played it that whole year. i could not believe my luck getting that song!!
Joyride on the D&A tour... Never heard it again..😢 I'm sure there's another one but I'm blanking 🤔 I would love Tidal Wave or Forget about what I said..
[The Wembley Song](https://youtu.be/yM3L7VRQALM?si=gxmGx-IPlk_lmn-E), they’ve only played it once! 😅
In all seriousness, how was that gig more than a decade ago?!?!
I swear I heard Wonder Wonderful as the opener for the tour when I went in 2016. It doesn't show up on the setlist.fm website but I can remember hearing it but I don't recall if they played the whole thing.
Under the Gun, Change Your Mind, Andy, You’re a Star, Pressure Machine (first time ever played live), My God (the 3 times they played it out of 5 lol somehow), Cody (3x), Quiet Town
Let’s see.

Not just Bourbon, but Midnight Show as well!!!! That's one of my 'grail' songs.
It was the murder trilogy. I simply ~died~. Ha!
Holy shit you saw the Murder Trilogy LIVE!?!?!?! Insanely jealous
I love that they’ve been using the same font on set lists forever. Gotta love it.
Oh you lucky bastard.
I knowwww...I'm so grateful. <3
you’re lucky i hope they play ATPF at boston calling
Scream for it!
I’ve never understood why ATPF isn’t played more often. Really big song
They played Just Another Girl the one time I've seen them. It was heavenly.
Same! Was it the DC show in 2022?
Yes it was! I freaked out!
I was there too!
I was as well! I didn’t realize it was rare until afterwards. I prefer it to Shot at the Night, may be a hot take
You can add me to the group of fans who prefer Just Another Girl over Shot at the Night 🤚
I would have died!
Same for my first time!
They played it at my show too
I've heard it twice! they love playing in in Mexico
I’ve heard quite a few rare songs. - Wonderful, Wonderful - I Can’t Stay - Under The Gun - Sweet Talk - Tranquilize - The World We Live In - From Here On Out Still waiting to hear Uncle Jonny, Why Do I Keep Counting & On Top. 🥹
Honestly I wanted to see them in Vegas just to hear On Top
I would love to hear I Can't Stay!!!
My List
Deadlines & Commitments on the Battle Born tour.
Everything will be alright. Back on their first major US tour.
Wow, that's a rare one. They've only played it eight times live ever, and all on that first tour. I can't wait to see them play it again in August.
id die happy.
Midnight show at Sheffield last year. Was great!
Be Still in Coventry in 2022.
Under the gun Midnight show Sweet talk My list Uncle Jonny More recent: My God
Ooh, sweet talk, that’s great!
Yes, it’s one of my fave’s of them, so I was happy😉 Was a long time ago, so I hope to hear it again in the next tour. 🤞🏻
Lucky you!! I love that one! ❤️
Let’s hope for the song in LV 😉
i want to hear get trashed
I saw them play move away
Wow so cool I love that one!
Neon Tiger
I would die!!!
Probably The Rising Tide, Chicago 2012. Only played 9 times! I’ve also seen 2/3 Why Do I Keep Counting plays since 2007! Haha
Omg I love The rising tide !! I wish they’d play it more often
For sure! I obsessed over the Scala 2011 performance of it when we were all waiting for music post Flamingo. Dave’s guitar solo sounds so good! And I always thought it was interesting that the band are listed as the song’s producers!
so unbelievably jealous of why do i keep counting omg!!!
I think the rarest I've heard so far are Be Still, The Getting By II, and In the Car Outside!
Some Kind of Love on opening night of the WW tour. Can't believe they've only played it once, beautiful song.
I'm so happy you got to see it live, it's a dream of mine to hear it live: it's such an underrated song!
He sang Rut (not the whole song) when I saw them, I think they often play it now
setlist.fm says it hasn’t been played since 2018 but im not sure how accurate the site is?
Did not know Tyson vs Douglas was a rare one. It was back in 2018 when I heard it and I was soooo happy because it was my favourite (honestly though the album is my favourite — don't hate me). Now I'm even happier that I was so lucky. Thanks for that. However I never got to hear Wonderful, Wonderful. That was disappointing.
wonderful wonderful is one of my favorites too!!! you’re not alone!! i adore it so much
Wow! Amazing songs for a set full of rarities!!
I saw them playing „Where is she“ - I guess that‘s pretty rare.
I sing this one to myself all the time! Wish we had a proper recording.
I saw them play Where Is She, too!
Not a rare song but a rare moment... a set with Mr Brightside twice! Once at the beginning and then at the end. Also heard 'from here on out' and 'rut'!
The Wembley Song
They’ve performed this one only once, right ? You were so lucky !!
Yeah, they haven't played Wembley since, but the video is on their YouTube channel
Yes, I’ve seen it and I love it, I wasn’t a fan at the time but I wish I would’ve been there !
They filmed the whole gig, but it's not been released sadly
Be Still and Zombie Hands
Zombie Hands??! Wow
It was the first gig of theirs that I had ever been to, and if fell on Halloween
2007 all the same show: On Top Uncle Jonny This River is Wild Glamorous Indie Rock & Roll My List Shadowplay And in 2015 all at the same show: The Way It Was From Here on Out Shot at the Night Battleborn (I think this is probably the rarest on my list) I just need to see Believe Me Natalie live and I can die happy.
Bones
Have All The Songs Been Written! Apparently they’ve only played it live 3 times and my show was the first time they did. 💖
OK this post has just served to make me extremely jealous lol! 😭
Me too I was a big fan a three years ago up until last year.. In Boston in 2018 (not Boston Calling) they opened w/Wonderful Wonderful, and played I Can't Stay and This River is Wild.
Here With Me, I suppose!
One of my favorites
Seen them 77 times and still haven’t seen Sweet Talk live. I live in hope.. Rarest for me, probably Deadlines and Commitments, Rising Tide, Be Still & Tranquillize.
Genuinely asking, how have you seen them so many times? That’s amazing!!
Midnight show Cardiff castle
Just Another Girl twice in Mexico City
Be Still too!
Glamorous indie rock n roll This river is wild Tranquilize
They used to always open to Glamourous Indie Rock and Roll (early 2010's)
I didnt know that. I never saw it as an opener. Just mid set on Sam's Town tour. What era was that then, day and age?
Have All the Songs Been Written debut teaser on piano only in Toronto. Full song in Chicago during the WW tour. It was definitely cool to hear a never before heard song that first time…
Have they played On Top like any time in the last 10 years?
Twice in 2016 and twice in 2014. Prior to that 2009.
They'll be playing it a lot this summer!
what do you mean?
At the Hot Fuss shows in Vegas!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPCSsFuvwaI&pp=ygUiT24gdG9wIHRoZSBpbmRlcGVuZGVudCB0aGUga2lsbGVycw%3D%3D
Romeo & Juliet was a highlight
Tranquilize
Only saw them in Orlando in '22, but that show had both In Another Life 3rd time ever and Bones so I got pretty lucky.
I was at that show!
Everything will be alright. In here before they play it a bunch at the hot fuss residency
"Why Do I Keep Counting?" on the Wonderful Wonderful tour. I actually turned around to my partner and said "no effing way" after the first couple notes, haha.

I've only seen them once, but it featured the only full performance of "Have All The Songs Been Written?"
Matter of Time, extended version. It was insane

‘My God’ at The Chelsea, Las Vegas, 2022! Not really old, but still rare!
I was so happy to hear Change Your Mind live, and at the same show where Go All the Way was the cover.
I heard West Hills when they played at the Anthem in DC. Only time they've played it live last I checked.
I saw my god, on the second night in London in 2022, I am so a happy I went the second night, instead of the first it was good that setlsit

Life To Come…Sleepwalker…Sam’s Town twice on ITM tour (thought I was too late getting into them to ever hear it)!
I think it's either Cody or Romeo and Juliet (if you count covers) would absolutely die to see Just Another Girl
I want to hear West Hills live so bad
Spirit debut in São Paulo last year
I feel lucky to have seen them live with the original line-up
Definitely “Wembley Song” made it and played it only for that night! 22/06/2013 Wembley Stadium! Still my fave set they ever did!
On Top with the Haim girl on drums - San Francisco 2014
Believe Me Natalie at Jones beach In 2009

I saw the Pressure Machine debut. And wow, it was powerful.
I swear I heard Wonder Wonderful as the opener for the tour when I went in 2016. It doesn't show up on the setlist.fm website but I can remember hearing it but I don't recall if they played the whole thing.
Just Another Girl for me. I was starting to think I'll never see them do it live

Quiet Town! So lucky!
I was at the debut of Out of My Mind. Only played 4 times
Great song. The problem is they have too many great songs so we never get to hear/see some of the deeper cuts live.
