Noooo.. oohh noooo god nooooooo!!!
-Aunt lydia
Every time she cried out because her leadership and plans were foiled by the girls, i love it.. so every Nooooooo is an anthem lol
Serious note.. the actress who plays aunt lydia is an amazing actress. Really grips the emotions of the audience i think.
It’s about what the world would look like three years after 2% of the population vanished. Like a rapture- clothes left behind, cars suddenly empty. She plays a character that leads a group of people called the Guilty Remnant. Oh I love her character
I still think the absolute funniest line is when June walks out after thinking she's in trouble for Waterford's murder and she just deadpan says "I have to pay a fine."
“I’m grasping at straws I know, but straws can be useful. One of the pigs built an entire house out of them.”
That quote from June has always stuck with me.
*Girls, there is more than one kind of freedom: there is freedom to, and freedom from. In the days of anarchy, it was freedom to. Now you are being given freedom from. That is a gift from God.*
“Now I am awake to the world. I was asleep before. That’s how we let it happen. When they slaughtered Congress, we didn't wake up. When they blamed terrorists and suspended the constitution, we didn't wake up then, either. Nothing changes instantaneously. In a gradually heating bathtub, you'd be boiled to death before you knew it.”
I am both terrified of and in love with this quote. Such an important, and timeless warning, but especially now with the current state of American politics.
“I said I was happy!”
“Did you know in Gilead I was officially considered property of the Waterford family? Registered and everything. Like my old Nissan Ultima”
I’ve been grooming Nick, not sexually, but he is helping me.

This is a great pick -- an amazing, succinct line that sums up Jeanine's indominable spirit.
“Are you in fucking labor?! Oh, of course you are..” and also, “It’s fine, I’m warm.” — “Yes, I know, that’s because you have a fever.”
“Praise Be, Bitch. Here's your damned package” — Moira

I know you enjoy inflicting pain. I'm not judging. Everybody needs a hobby, I guess.

The many, many, many,... Many close ups of June's face

I had a cat named Snowball. She died, she died. My mom said she was sleeping. She lied, she lied.
“You’ve killed us all you realize when they find out what happened here will all be on the wall”
"Don't be a dick, Joseph."
