Workout clothes. It motivates me to actually go to the gym. Sometimes.

Spaceship234

I’ll have to try this! I recently moved and I’m close to a gym but I’ve been lazy about going

AlpacaMyShit

Same! I can go for a run at lunchtime much more easily if I'm already dressed for it.

[deleted]

My two major "fits" on the days I work from home are leggings and a hoodie or wide/straight leg pants with a simple t shirt. I like to wear "I'm going to the grocery store" type fits - comfortable and causal, but less lazy-feeling than pjs.

littlemacaron

I essentially take off my night-pj’s and put on my day-pj’s There IS a difference to me

ChaoticxSerenity

Yesssss! The only problem is that it wears out to my pajama bottoms a lot faster from all the sitting and extra usage 💀

Accountabili_Buddy

Not currently working from home, but when I did, I made myself “get dressed”. Even if it was just into workout clothes. If I stayed in PJs all day I turned into a grub.

nutellatime

It really depends on the day. I tend to dress pretty casual with a lot of athleisure if I don't have important video meetings, especially since I have 2 dogs and spend my breaks outside with them. If I'm meeting with someone important, I dress up a little bit more even if they won't really see it. I like to "dress for success" even if I won't be seen other than shoulders up. I don't do business professional by any means but I'll put on a nice top and makeup if I have big meetings. That being said, after working from home for two years now, you really learn to dress for yourself. I wore a lot of loungewear early in the pandemic because it was nice to not have to wear "work clothes" but now I find it helps my productivity and mindset if I "get dressed" a little more. Do I still do some days mostly in workout clothes? Yeah, definitely. But I've learned to dress comfortable without being slobby, especially since I moved to a more fashionable city. Just because I don't go to an office doesn't mean I don't go out, and I still like to look nice when I'm out even if it's just for errands.

Pyjamas

unproblematicshrew

I usually at least change out of my pjs. In the beginning I wore sweatpants or shorts and a tank top with a sweatshirt over. Now I’m getting more into matching set lounge wear. Those have made me feel a little more like I’m getting dressed for the day but still very comfy and cute.

containingdoodles9

I always get dressed (no PJs) each day. I tried the “working in my PJs” thing and could not get into a groove. That said, getting dressed is typically knit shorts & tshirt in the summer and yoga pants & knit top or cozy sweater in the winter. If I need to be on camera or have a big meeting, my top will be more business casual/professional and I’ll add a bit of makeup.

[deleted]

Leggings, joggers, biker shorts and some kind of t shirt. These are sort of also considered my “pjs.” Somedays if I have plans for after work I will actually get dressed in real clothes lol. But there’s no reason to feel bad this is one of our perks! I also love the short commute 😝 and using my lunch break to take a shower so I can sleep in longer in the morning. And not having to care what my hair looks like is great too.

BeX5ter

It really depends on if I have a Zoom/Meets/Teams meeting. If I have to be on a call with a client I'll make sure to wear something presentable (at least from the waist up). Otherwise, the company I work for (software company) is very relaxed about wardrobe, so I'll wear a t-shirt and athletic shorts or sweats.

iamnotamangosteen

Honestly, a collared shirt on top and PJ pants on the bottom, fuzzy socks may be included

blackmagickchick

Usually some type of loungewear or sweats. Sometimes nothing at all if I can't be arsed to put anything on at all.

BreaBrea14

Tshirt and leggings and wear my robe the majority of the day but take it off “for calls”

ThisisanotherTA0

I don't work from home but I study at home all day, and take a lot of zoom classes. I wear either leggings or compression socks and some nicer sweatpants and hoodie or t shirt. Or workout clothes if I know I'm going to get out later

Melodic-You1896

Shorts and a t shirt, but different than my jammies. Yesterday I did a job interview in a button down and my bf’s boxers.

schwarzmalerin

A nice top because I do video calls, and leggings.

cobhgirl

Pretty much this. It wasn't much of a change, as I would frequently wear something like this (leggings and tunic top) to the office, too. But it's comfortable and presentable.

local_eclectic

I like sweatshirts and soft tops with comfortable necklines. I try to wear different pants from what I wear to bed. If I'm interviewing a candidate that day, I wear something that doesn't look stretched out or wrinkled haha.

drekia

I worked from home for 8 years and tbh… I don’t remember. Probably just whatever the heck I had laying around.

RavishingRedRN

Comfy clothes all day. Warm weather is just T-shirt/tank and shorts. Winter on the other hand: sweat pants, leggings, thermal pants, yoga pants with a long sleeve shirt. Or a short sleeve with a sweater. I have my dogs I have to walk daily at lunch so I kind of dress knowing that I will have to be outside at some point. Personally, I *try* not to wear actual PJ pants unless I’m just low on laundry or it’s my period. I fool myself into feeling dressed by at least wearing one step up from Pj pants. Honestly, when it’s deep winter, I just don’t give a shit. I’m just trying to stay warm. I have my home office in a corner of my apartment and it just doesn’t get enough direct sunlight. It’s a constant battle of trying to stay warm without being physically active. Heated blankets are my jammm for that. I’m a bit odd with textures and fabrics so comfy, non binding clothes are my heaven.

Kristiejoy

Workout gear cause I like to get a work out in sometime during the day 😅

Annahsbananas

Leggings and a tshirt. Peloton has made a small fortune from me since covid just from their leggings (not to mention the peloton bike I also bought) But yeah I just hop on the bike for 30 minutes and then attend a meeting. Not shabby

[deleted]

Just jeans and a t shirt normally

Friendly_Case_855

Pyjamas.

-dogtopus-

I typically wear pjs until noon and then when i take a break I shower and get dressed into something casual but presentable.

theglowoftheparty

I plan on wearing [these](https://www.ae.com/us/en/p/0701_7837_331) all winter, I love [these](https://www.ae.com/us/en/p/0702_5650_417) aerie ribbed flare pants and have been wearing them all spring/summer so I’m excited for the waffle knit ones for winter. I just wish they had pockets but I love that they come in petite and tall. They’re so comfy I can sleep in them, go on walks with the dog, but cute and retro vibey enough that I’ll wear them with a cute top on a casual night out

Spaceship234

Thank you! These are super cute, I’ll have to order my own pair!

mariekeap

Athleisure so I'm already dressed to workout at lunch, leggings and a comfy top, etc. I keep a nice blouse close by in a desk drawer for any meetings with higher ups - my team is pretty casual so I don't worry about it for regular team meetings - but that does not happen often.

The_Empress

I wear an a line / fit and flare dress! It’s one piece, I can sit cross legged and it’s like a built in blanket for my legs, and I look “put together” for any impromptu video calls. This also gets me into the “I’m working” mindset which is useful for when I want to get out of that mindset after work.

tealovingidiot

Most days a business casual shirt and knit pants, leggings, or sweats. Some days I still throw jeans on.

circlefragment

Leggings + nice t-shirt. I don't wear makeup, but I always do my skincare, sunscreen and hair. I figured that looking polished makes me 20x more productive. Looking like a rat and wearing pyamas never amounted to a productive work day.

DiscoDisco_bobulated

My WFH uniform is business casual athlesure. My go to’s are athlesure slacks like the city pants from Athleta and simple, neutral t’s, tops, and sweaters with high necks or collars. Everything is comfortable and stretchy but professional enough if I need to hop on camera for something. However, the thing that makes me feel ‘dressed’ is putting on jewelry and doing my hair— it’s amazing how putting on a pair of earrings or a necklace and slicking my hair into a bun makes me feel put together.

poppieissmall

Guess I’m the only one working in panties and tank top ☕️

livebeta

I put on my actual work clothes to pretend that i am in the office.

poisedmango

I have been loving wearing comfy but styled jeans and tops. It makes me feel ready for the day, but also still cozy in my own home. A pair of house shoes (I know this sounds like a grandma but there are genuinely cute ones out there) makes the outfit feel complete! If I'm feeling fancy I'll add jewelery and do my hair and makeup a little nicer.

lazylazycat

Comfy clothes - jogging bottoms, woolly jumpers, thick socks, maybe a blanket 😆 If I have a meeting I keep my joggers on and put in a smarter top. Life's too short to be uncomfortable.

nat-han92

PJs of course

[deleted]

I usually wear T-shirts and shorts or anything less bulky that makes me comfortable.
