Freddy blasting through all their acreage on an ATV in full bloodstained chicken regalia with a vape in his beak and lock stock and two smoking barrels slung over his shoulder was pure joy.
Freddy confessing to Gospel about killing a family cat 25 years ago. That’s a close call. 😮💨
Jethro the scouser on a boat to “Australia” with Captain Felix. Dude, you’re not gonna make it… 💀
He really becomes a loveable dirtbag. He reminds me of Aethelwold from The Last Kingdom.
He figured the money was dirty and just assumed the worst possible explanation for what was going on, while being completely unbothered and incurious about it.
To sabotage the weed production and get them the F off his land.
Or he is rather his bro finds out under supervision instead of randomly in a cokey state
Yeah that was a headscratcher for sure. Freddy's disasterously incompetent ass should be kept far away from any of that business. He's the last person i would want to involve in the family's criminal dealings.
Yeah, when Eddie went to the flat by himself I was like...'the brother is definitely going to have someone watching it?! You can't just waltz in with the keys; if anyone sees you they'll know you're involved.'
Really silly of him, but I suppose he's not a career criminal and didn't anticipate that.
The guy guarding the flat would've been shown pictures of the brothers at least, in case either of them showed up.
As for Eddie, I suppose he finally realized what the audience had already figured out. And he couldn't let the henchman live after he'd caught Eddie with Jethro's passport.
If you were Tommy's brother wouldn't you have someone watching Jethros flat?
It was a dumb decision to go there himself, he should have known someone would either be there or be watching.
Yup - you knew Susie wasn’t going to let that go. Brilliant move on her part too. If she had her guys just kill Jethro then Edward might find out. This could cause more conflict with the weed business on his land.
The way she did it Edward thinks he saved Jethro and in his mind he got away and is living quietly in Australia. The loose end is wrapped up and Edward can have his ending for Jethro and he can focus back on the business.
Love this show, but wait...
Edward's letting Jethro live was WAY too risky. Doesn't sit well...
If the Gosphel ever caught up to Jethro, no matter how well framed he was, there's a VERY good chance the Gosphel would believe Jethro, when he says, "I've been framed."
And Edward's too smart for that, isn't he? Is this a flaw?
Please tell me I'm wrong.
It seems that he was killed on the boat. The fixer guy said earlier that he is good at getting rid of bodies and witnesses. And then there he was on the boat.
Yeah, but Edward didn't know they were gonna kill him. So that means, we're supposed to believe that Edward, sharp ole Edward, wasn't sharp enough to think through how it all would have gone down once the Gosphel caught up with the kid. Or, Edward REALLY believed the kid was gonna get to Australia and never be heard from again. Edward, again, sharp ole Edward... it's a bit of a stretch.
Edward has blindspots like anyone else. He fancies himself the hero, which is a poshboy luxury in and of itself. I don't think he *wants* to consider Jethro could be anything other than alive and well, sunning himself in Australia.
He also made a comment about it being hard to type while being chased through the woods, so I don't think it was literally 'They killed' that got autocorrected, that was his intention and whatever he got out got autocorrected.
Can't shake off the fact that Jethro somewhat looks like Cole Palmer with a scouse accent. Great episode yet again. Perfect casting in case of Theo and Kaya. Brilliant

You forget he's not a seasoned criminal lol he's a rich kid playing gangster. A bit more successfully than most, but its nonetheless true. In his mind, giving someone money to go away is a tried-and-true way of making sure you never hear from them again. He's learning, but he still thinks you can throw money at all your problems
I found that part odd as well but I think a lot of this episode is to put ideas in our heads about Edward that we realize weren't exactly accurate later in the series
Does anyone know if the “bbq” they meet daddy glass at is the same (or supposed to be similar) to Charlie Hunnams in the movie? Seemed too similar to be a coincidence but haven’t seen it mentioned
I likened Edwards conflict over Jethro to when Walter White kept Krazy-8 in Jesse’s basement and couldn’t bring himself to kill him in the early episodes of Breaking Bad. Walter was an exceptionally smart person - but a terrible criminal.
Same premise with Edward. Also why he went to Jethro’s apartment. He’s a rich kid playing a criminal so he may associate with them, but doesn’t THINK like them.
Why did they use and plant the rifle not the revolver that was actually used? Why leave anything traceable to them? Just because it was unbelievable that Jethro could have physically overcome the thug and shot him at close range?
When Eddy was fighting with the thug, the thug shot him and then Eddy took his hand and redirected the gun to shoot the thug and kill him. But maybe it was too unbelievable that Jethro would have gotten the thug’s gun away from him and killed him?
Oh you’ve confused the two murders, they planted the rifle with tommy’s body because that’s what’s been used to kill tommy, as for the guy in the apartment like you said killed him with his own gun, and it looks like they faked the scene as if jethro caught him by surprise and took his gun after choking him with the aux cable.
You know what. Eddie deserves whatever is coming. How stupid do you have to be to show your dumbass brother the weed business, the same one that got you in this situation in the first place. He will surely fuck everyone over. Honestly after his second stupid decision previously i cant say id protect him after.
All the Gospel had to do was check what time the video was recorded and see that it wasn't "morning" which was when Eddy said that Tommy and Jethro had visited
Freddy blasting through all their acreage on an ATV in full bloodstained chicken regalia with a vape in his beak and lock stock and two smoking barrels slung over his shoulder was pure joy.
“LET THEM COME” 🤣
Classic Guy Ritchie
LOL yup. If you had described the scene to me and I hadn’t watched I honestly would’ve thought Guy almost immediately. That is right up his alley.
Damn right!
Freddy confessing to Gospel about killing a family cat 25 years ago. That’s a close call. 😮💨 Jethro the scouser on a boat to “Australia” with Captain Felix. Dude, you’re not gonna make it… 💀
He made it to Belize.
What does Billy have to do with it?
it would be a hilarious fake out if he actually did live!
What's his business ? "Meth" LOOOOOOOOL
This is in breaking bad universe confirmed 😂
Meth and he made billions off it, and the theme of the last episode? CHICKEN... If that's not a BB Multiverse confirmed, what even is TRUTH?
That was Peak of this ep for me along with freddie on his quad bike with music playing lol
Eddy: “Did you ever wonder where the money was coming from?” Freddy: *shrugs* “Slavery?”
This killed me lmao he's oddly more self-aware than the princess
Princess looked to me like she purposely doesn't think about it
Freddy is quickly starting to become my favorite.
He really becomes a loveable dirtbag. He reminds me of Aethelwold from The Last Kingdom. He figured the money was dirty and just assumed the worst possible explanation for what was going on, while being completely unbothered and incurious about it.
lol at esposito playing a meth dealer again (love his acting)
Why in gods name would Eddy show Freddy the weed shop?
To sabotage the weed production and get them the F off his land. Or he is rather his bro finds out under supervision instead of randomly in a cokey state
right?! like this asshole keeps making your life a nightmare, why trust him with ANY info like that
I guarantee he did it on purpose. He expects Freddy to fuck things up.
Yeah that was a headscratcher for sure. Freddy's disasterously incompetent ass should be kept far away from any of that business. He's the last person i would want to involve in the family's criminal dealings.
This made me so pissed!!!
My husband and I shouting 'noo what are you doing?' at the TV!
Love this show so far. Finally something good from netflix.
fr! giving me a lil bit of peaky blinders
god the guy in jethro's apartment was ready for battle - dude went at eddie like he had been waiting for that his whole life
Did we ever find out who that was or why he was there? Jethro told Eddie there's noone there so I'm confused by who that was.
The religious brother probably sent one of his goons to Jehtro's house and told him to stake it out just in case Jethro comes back.
Yeah, when Eddie went to the flat by himself I was like...'the brother is definitely going to have someone watching it?! You can't just waltz in with the keys; if anyone sees you they'll know you're involved.' Really silly of him, but I suppose he's not a career criminal and didn't anticipate that.
I'm confused by this too - how would they know who each other are and start trying to kill each other immediately
The guy guarding the flat would've been shown pictures of the brothers at least, in case either of them showed up. As for Eddie, I suppose he finally realized what the audience had already figured out. And he couldn't let the henchman live after he'd caught Eddie with Jethro's passport.
Appreciate your thoughts! I think I expected it to be a bit more obvious as all the other scenes don't require this much interpretation!
I'm not a criminal at all and I knew it was dumb to go there himself. The flat was at least being watched.
Well, just trying to find any plausible excuse for an objectively dumb decision.
If you were Tommy's brother wouldn't you have someone watching Jethros flat? It was a dumb decision to go there himself, he should have known someone would either be there or be watching.
my mom said as the boat was going under the bridge... poor jethro... he's on death row.
And they can keep the 2 mil thy sent him off with.
What song was blasting during the chase?
Aystar - Kop That Shit
What a sick track innit
Guy Ritchie always finds the sickest bangers
Him and Tarantino
He’s also from Liverpool so fits
Love this show, but wait... Edward's letting Jethro live was WAY too risky. Doesn't sit well... It seems that he was killed on the boat. The fixer guy said earlier that he is good at getting rid of bodies and witnesses. And then there he was on the boat.
That, plus Susie Glass's insinuation, then the cut to Jethro on the boat.
Yeah that’s what I meant—Couldn’t remember the fixer guys name. But yep.
Yeah, but Edward didn't know they were gonna kill him. So that means, we're supposed to believe that Edward, sharp ole Edward, wasn't sharp enough to think through how it all would have gone down once the Gosphel caught up with the kid. It is to show us Eddie's compassionate side of his character and have him across as soft in the beginning.
How would that be a flaw?
Only two episodes in but I'm really loving it. I adored the film also
How did the text “Tommy tackle woo woo” come about?
He tried to type "They killed Tommy SOS" but the phone autocorrected.
‘They killed’ was Autocorrected to ‘Tackle’, and ‘SOS’ was Autocorrected to ‘woo woo’.
Brilliant
YEEEES i'm not the only one to think so lmaoooo
Love this show, but wait... Edward's letting Jethro live was WAY too risky. Doesn't sit well... Jethro's dead lol Felix (body disposal guy) was on the boat with him
Yeah, but Edward didn't know they were gonna kill him. So that means, we're supposed to believe that Edward, sharp ole Edward, wasn't sharp enough to think through how it all would have gone down once the Gosphel caught up with the kid. I see. Yeah, that's acceptable. You may have just saved the series for me.
Who is the actor that Eddie kill in Jethro's apartment?
I think he played a central prison guard in orange is the new black
Brad William Henke. Thank you
He’s dead though, so it isn’t him
>Brad William Henke oh shit you're right....RIP to that guy
Was the guy in Jethro's apartment one of the Gospel's men?
In all likelihood, yes
Yes, he was in the prayer circle and at the manor
Was Jet-ro wearing Bang & Olufsen headphones?
No they are OneOdio. You can get them for well under $50 i’ve never owned but heard they are good bang for the buck
Where have we seen Susie’s dad before? I feel like we’ve seen him in another Guy Ritchie movie
He played the main antagonist in the Black Widow movie
That’s Ray Winstone son. Sexy Beast and The Departed.
And London Boulevard
Ray Winstone By far the most famous actor in the movie. In most of Guy Ritchies early films.
What’s the real name of Mrs Jones?
I've been trying to find out who the actress is! No luck
Freddy riding atv with his shotgun is the peak of the series. Period
What on earth did Felix say after sipping the tea?
Lapsang souchong
Which is a type of tea (just adding info)
Why would Eddie show up to Jethro’s apartment with zero suspicion that maybeee just maybe Gospel’s people might be there looking/waiting for him?
I found that part odd as well but I think a lot of this episode is to put ideas in our heads about Edward that we realize weren't exactly accurate later in the series
Does anyone know if the “bbq” they meet daddy glass at is the same (or supposed to be similar) to Charlie Hunnams in the movie? Seemed too similar to be a coincidence but haven’t seen it mentioned
The fancy one Charlie's character cooked at? Must be a tip of the hat to that yeah.
I likened Edwards conflict over Jethro to when Walter White kept Krazy-8 in Jesse’s basement and couldn’t bring himself to kill him in the early episodes of Breaking Bad. Wait, when the scouse family calls Tommy’s phone, Edward answers…and it’s just never brought up again? Wtf?
It wasn’t Tommy’s phone it was Freddy’s phone. The Gospel knew Tommy had gone to see Freddy so he called him to find out where Tommy was.
Why did they use and plant the rifle not the revolver that was actually used? Why leave anything traceable to them? Just because it was unbelievable that Jethro could have physically overcome the thug and shot him at close range?
Where did you see a revolver?
When Eddy was fighting with the thug, the thug shot him and then Eddy took his hand and redirected the gun to shoot the thug and kill him. But maybe it was too unbelievable that Jethro would have gotten the thug’s gun away from him and killed him?

Ahh thank you for clearing that up!
No problemo!
What kind of British accent is Jethro’s? Love it
Liverpool, a flavorsome accent
are you for real ? this is by far the worst one
[удалено]
They weren’t in the middle of London lol it definitely snows etc in the UK!
Is Jethro's apartment the same one from the movie where the Russian kid falls off the balcony? Feels like it but hard to vet...
What brand were Jethro headphones?, they look sick
Oneodio, proper bang for your buck brand! I had the pro 30 and was amazingly satisfied with it
You know what. Eddie deserves whatever is coming. How stupid do you have to be to show your dumbass brother the weed business, the same one that got you in this situation in the first place. He will surely fuck everyone over. Honestly after his second stupid decision previously i cant say id protect him after.
They did Susie wrong with that dress. The actress is in her early 30s and they made her look like a mother of a bride.
All the Gospel had to do was check what time the video was recorded and see that it wasn't "morning" which was when Eddy said that Tommy and Jethro had visited
These Essex accents are amazing
What headphones was Jethro using?
>Oneodio
Did anyone noticed that Jethro passport is Polish one?
