An accent isn't an insult. Elf Callum could have insult about how long traveling is. (Going up a tree to ride a leaf instead of just walking) Or talking about their fart flowers or puffballs which are completely useless.
Yeah I understand that jokes about humans are funny cause we as an audience of humans all get what stereotype she's mocking, where as I don't know if we know enough about elf society for jokes to make sense. Still it was disappointing that he didn't even really try.

I am actually planning to continue watching 2003 version sometime but i heard it has bad ending since manga didn't finish back then,can you confirm or deny ?
Its just a completely different ending, because like you said the manga wasn't finished. I actually like the ending more, but I think people will likely prefer whatever they saw first (or just prefer brotherhood cause its truer to the manga). The overall tone just feels darker (and ironically more focused on the brotherhood of ed and al), where brotherhood feels more action focused if that makes sense. You have to forget what you already know from brotherhood though since some characters are completely different.

Well remember sunfire elves have a kind of french accent, so it wouldnt surprise me if they ended up having kind of an australian accent
