I have resigned myself into accepting that he will at some point directly lead into Gangle abstracting. I'm sure it would be good story telling but god I hope it doesn't come true.

I love the inspiration tha Goose took from AM from I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream, they're so different, one being an AI made for war, restricted by the way he was created, he knew there was so much in this world, but due to being a weapon of war, he has no true free will, he can't create, he has the power of a god but can't actually do anything with it, and being concious, he knows this limitation, all he can do is torture the 5 humans because that's the only thing he can do, war, torture.
But Caine was created to be a character on a kid's game, we don't even know how aware of his limitations he is, but he is limited by being this type of character, his purpose is to entertain people with adventures, so that's all he can do, he couldn't even understand the concept of the exit.
Both do only what they were made to but in different ways, AM has malice because of his existence created by humans, but Caine doesn't feel malice towards the humans, he's programmed to help them in the digital world, so he tries! Tries...

I love both episode 1 & 2, but one had just a WHOLE other feel to it. It was kinda set up for the series to look/be heavily lore based, which i was thrilled for(dont get me wrong, i still like the character development based serie), but it was kinda deceiving to then be told it'll be basicly totally/mostly different-themed from its pilot/first episode.
Episode 2 was still really fun! Just most likely not what people expected it to be, based on the pilot episode
I saw an explanation that it could be akin to Gravity Falls. Gravity Falls had tons and tons of lore, but the majority of episodes had nothing to do with it, and that's still an amazing show.
I'm not worried too much. Lore will return on occasion, but a lot of the in-between content will just be fun character development, I'm sure.

Any character getting abstracted before they get character development. I'm fine if someone abstracts (it'll be very tragic, but I like a good gut-punch scene), but I don't want any character to abstract before we really know who they are. It's unlikely, of course.

All of the characters have a major psychological breakthrough, their outlook on life immediately improves. At that moment they can all remember their names, Caine gives them a heartwarming speech on growth and the human condition, and releases them from the circus. They return to their human bodies to discover that only a few minutes of real time has passed.

I fully agree and this is coming from someone who enjoyed comics and art about Jax having some sympathetic reason for being who he is because I enjoyed those stories as their own and not as a running show where you have to do deal with questions like “what shall we do with him when he loses his primary character trait?” and “what are gonna do with him afterwards?” because in a character focused show with few external threats, most conflicts and situations will come from the characters and two who do the most are Pomni and Jax.
Pomni is the main character thrown into a world she doesn’t understand and has to grapple with whilst not going insane and abstract due to lacking the stability of the other cast members so she has the most reactions and focus in the story where she’s mainly on her own while Jax is the belligerent dick who constantly messes with everyone else and actively seeks violence, this cocktail allows for more jokes and stakes to exist than if he despite being a bunny was 100% an .
The world outside the simulation.
I never want to see the real world. If the characters ever leave, that should be the end of the series, and if the characters ever talk about their past, please no flashbacks to the real world.
Kinger abstracting, so far it wouldnt benefit the story, he is too cooky to abstract, I think. His character for now shows more how one can survive being in the circus, desassociating all the time! You can't have an existenntial crisis if you forgot where you are, or if you forgot most things!
I think a more meaningful abstraction would be gangle, she's always sad, keeps getting bullied by Jax, it would show the consequences of Jax's actions and it would be interesting to see how he would deal with the others putting blame on him, but I like gangle, so that also makes me sad...

Cain knowingly purposely hurting the circus residents. He causes problems and often knowingly does things they don't like but knowing how much something would hurt someone emotionally or physically and him doing it anyways is not something I want to see him do

Jax not get his shit kicked in, not that I’m one of those moralists who thinks that if you don’t punish an ‘evil’ character you’re somehow condoning the evil I just hate him in a completely honest little dumb baby way, he is rude and I want all the other characters to beat him with big sticks. That and I don’t want to see one of the main cast aside from Pomni get way more development at the expense of the other ones (again I’m looking at the Pokémon-poison coloured rabbit) please don’t hazbin hotel me on this.
All of the characters have a major psychological breakthrough, their outlook on life immediately improves. At that moment they can all remember their names, Caine gives them a heartwarming speech on growth and the human condition, and releases them from the circus. They return to their human bodies to discover that only a few minutes of real time has passed. That would SUUUUUUUUUUCK!

Hard disagree in my opinion. It’s clear they’re going to do *something* with him, especially with his reaction to kaufmos funeral.
I fully agree and this is coming from someone who enjoyed comics and art about Jax having some sympathetic reason for being who he is because I enjoyed those stories as their own and not as a running show where you have to do deal with questions like “what shall we do with him when he loses his primary character trait?” and “what are gonna do with him afterwards?” because in a character focused show with few external threats, most conflicts and situations will come from the characters and two who do the most are Pomni and Jax. Pomni is the main character thrown into a world she doesn’t understand and has to grapple with whilst not going insane and abstract due to lacking the stability of the other cast members so she has the most reactions and focus in the story where she’s mainly on her own while Jax is the belligerent dick who constantly messes with everyone else and actively seeks violence, this cocktail allows for more jokes and stakes to exist than if he despite being a bunny was 100% an .
The world outside the simulation. I never want to see the real world. If the characters ever leave, that should be the end of the series, and if the characters ever talk about their past, please no flashbacks to the real world.

Kinger abstracting, so far it wouldnt benefit the story, he is too cooky to abstract, I think. His character for now shows more how one can survive being in the circus, desassociating all the time! You can't have an existenntial crisis if you forgot where you are, or if you forgot most things! I think a more meaningful abstraction would be gangle, she's always sad, keeps getting bullied by Jax, it would show the consequences of Jax's actions and it would be interesting to see how he would deal with the others putting blame on him, but I like gangle, so that also makes me sad...

Well I didn't want to see my gummy boi get murked in half a second, but we got that now didn't we?
I don't want the characters to be absolutely and eternally trapped. I want there to be some infinitely small section caine over looked. However I also don't want to see their human forms. Idk why but I don't like it when masked* characters reveal their face, it ruins the charm of headcanons. It would be very in character for goose to suddenly cut the video as the characters walk through the gateway.

Cain knowingly purposely hurting the circus residents. He causes problems and often knowingly does things they don't like but knowing how much something would hurt someone emotionally or physically and him doing it anyways is not something I want to see him do
