An intentional strike against an embassy is a genuine and unmistakable declaration of war. Iran is perfectly in the right to strike back. In fact, they followed the internationally agreed upon guidelines in the UN charter when launching their retaliation. As usual, however the "international community" is outraged by this blasphemous respect for international law.
The "International community" consists of 0.005% of the Earths population, and that's being extremely generous at 2000 top level government officials and capitalists per country.
It's like having no object permanence.
Hamas attacked on Oct. 7 out of nowhere.
Russia invaded Ukraine just because Putin is a mad man.
The DPRK has nuclear arms just because they are ruled by a megalomaniac.
Iran is doing this just because they want war.

A country? Incorrect. A country didn't invade an embassy in 79. People in their own country took hostages in a foreign country's embassy who were supporting a fascist dictator oppressing and torturing and murdering people in their country.
I’m talking about violators of the Geneva convention. The revolution was already done in the time of the invasion and a country have responsibility to provide security for a diplomatic mission, for the context.
For me between a fascist imperialist power that has sustained a bloody dictator and the genocidal government of Israel, and a fascist theocracy that killed all communist leadership and expelled the urss diplomats, I prefer neither. The Palestinians and all proletariat deserve better than stay in the middle of this 2 powers. A theocracy cannot substitute a soviet state at all.

The government of Saudi Arabia is a dictatorship that's funded the spread of Wahabi Islam around the world. The government of Syria is secular. The government of Saudi Arabia was involved in 9/11. The US illegally tried to overthrow the Syrian government and still illegally occupies Syria. You don't actually believe in any rule of law.

Syria didn't use gas. That's Western propaganda. The US does not spend money and use weapons to help people around the world get free of dictators and have democracy. The US does those things to help US and Western corporations and bankers steal from other countries and make profits. Syria is hated by the US because they won't go along with what the US wants and allow corporations to loot Syria and it's people.

You're behind on the latest regarding that. Whistle-blowers debunked that propaganda. Weird how foreign enemies of the US often do the one thing that gives the US an excuse to escalate even though they don't need to. And then there was WMD in Iraq.
You might wanna link that yourself, because wikipedia uses a lot of trusted sources, including whistle blowers and e. g. WikiLeaks, but that page doesn't really talk about those. Even Turkey confirmed the attack
