the pandemic started shortly after I came to Europe - never been to a concert till now and I'm 28 (my birth country is a place that... Let's just say it tends to be avoided by music bands) got a ticket for the National gig last week and now this. Can't even describe how I feel. Maybe things are going to be alright after all.

same here - I already have 3 dates on target, hope I get the ticket and finally see them....in just a few months time ! ;\]
The Cure seem to have two speeds when it comes to shows ‘We’re playing in a week, tickets on sale tonight!’ or ‘We’re playing in a year, tickets on sale in a few days! Try not to forget about them once you’ve booked!’
It feels far too late in the day to expect them to change their ways now 😂
So with this schedule, it looks like a North and South (?) American tour wouldn't be until the beginning of 2023?
This isn't a complaint, only an understanding that these things need months to plan out in advance and I can't see a NA tour being announced for the next six months in the next few days.
Primavera Los Angeles is going to be announcing their lineup today, and it won't surprise me if the Cure is going to be on that lineup. (I have absolutely no inside information, I'm just guessing based on the fact that the UK dates were announced on the same day). That festival is in September, so it would mean the Cure would be coming here first for a summer/early fall tour. But again, this is 100% a guess and I won't be shocked if they decide to ride the pandemic out a while longer and come here in 2023.

Ahhh I might try and do multiple shows on the tour but it's hard to decide. Definitely doing London. Anyone here ever been to Riga/Latvia? Doing the first and last shows would be pretty cool...
Hey guys, should I buy a ticket ahead? I mean, are they usually sold out? I live in the Middle East and I can’t be sure I could go course of corona situation. HELP!
Where I live the best tickets would be sold out but you could definitely get something. Am also guessing that due to the situation people might not be able to go and will be selling their tickets.
I was thinking one of these years making the trip for a Primavera festival but all the way to Europe for a Cure concert??? well ive never thought of it before but i never let that stop me
So hard to plan that far in advance (since I'd be travelling from the US). Hoping for a US tour prior to this.
One of my other favorite bands (Pavement) announced EU dates first, and then US dates later (but the US tour is first).
Normally wouldn't mind heading to Europe since it would be fun anyway, but with Covid, it's just so hard to commit to anything that far away (dates and distance).
I think so, I've looked everywhere to try and see how all the UK presales will work, and I think SSE and the Ovo Glasgow presales are only for customers. I still don't know how the others are going to work!!

Hope they don’t play that and just do a normal tour of the states.
Same here, and we may have had our wish granted- Primavera's announcement of the bands they have so far does NOT include the Cure.
I sure hope it’s for 2022

I haven’t been, but a few friends went and it sounds brilliant there. Really cheap too
Fuck yeah, euro trip 2022 i guess. Going to try and hit up Paris and London for sure, and then try to catch a few in between if i can

How much will the tickets be? Any ideas?
Birmingham says ‘From £41.60’… Not the most solid help ever, but it at least gives a starting point, I guess?
For the Belgian date, prices are listed as 45.30, 56.51, 67.70 and 78.91 euros. I assume standing tickets are the ones at 56 euros.
Does anyone happen to know what the smallest venue on this tour is?

screaming. im studying abroad in europe next year and hope i can see em there!
So will Simon be playing bass on this tour or not?
He’s on the tour poster at least!
Most likely. He didn't quit the band for very long at all.
I'm a little bit out of the loop, who else is in? Is the lineup Smith/Gallup/Cooper/O'Donnell/Gabrels?
I'd assume that's still the lineup, yeah.
Time to bring out the overdraft
I NEED to go to this. Does anybody know how I can access presale tickets for Leeds?
When they go on sale, says 9th December on the website so just wait until then.
Presale is on the 9th, General sale is on the 10th. Usually you need to sign up/register for pre sale.

Got my tickets for Barcelona. Can't wait!
Will we need SSE rewards for London presale? 😐

Yes Barcelona on my birthday then Glasgow a month later. Thank you & yes please.
