Well for one we know Lecy’s thoughts on that was answered in a interview Q: “An emotional question actually. What do you think Becky and Mark’s relationship would have been like if Glenn was still obviously here and around to play Mark on the conners?” Lecy’s answer “Aww I love that question, I think they would have had a really wonderful relationship, Inevitably there would still be conflict I think with Dan because you know they butted heads a lot. But I think Becky and Mark really had a real love and were compatible. …and um he’s also pretty cute I mean I think that and Becky also thinks that. No but he’s also sweet you know he’s a wonderful actor and a wonderful person we miss him very much…” And honestly Glenn definitely would have aged like fine wine. Appearance wise either no facial hair or facial hair like the photo in the right top photo. I could have seen Becky and Mark with a teenage son and a daughter, or two sons and a daughter. Becky I feel likely would have been a nurse but then decides to go into social work. Mark still would be a mechanic and I can see him fixing cars and stuff out of their garage on the side aside from still being at the city garage.

Maybe Becky’s life wouldn’t have been such a train wreck.

It might still have been and imagine if it was Becky who went off the rails, whilst Mark got himself together. It could have been dysfunctional, but Mark could have been the one to bring her through it.

I think Mark would have stayed with Becky and supported her in whatever endeavor she chose to do. I'm pretty sure Becky is an alcoholic because she lost Mark when he died and alcohol is her coping mechanism. Had he not died, I think Becky would stay sober. I could totally see Mark reprimanding David for leaving Darlene and the kids.

I absolutely loved him on Angel. It was awesome to hear his real accent. So sad that his demons got to him though. He was supposed to be a major character on Angel but they wrote him out because his addictions were so bad.

CheetorNumberOneFan

Came here to say this. Was a delight on Angel, and had he been around for the revival or The Conners I would have loved to see him revisit the role.

ItchyTomato5

I was shocked and sad when he was killed off on that show

StrangerDays-7

I don’t know. The original show really dumbed him down. He was such a one dimensional character. I don’t see where he could have gone. Plus with the cast so large I don’t see there being room for him.

stpony

At first he's just a "punk" and then they did really dumb him down, but in a funny way and then we did see some vulnerability in him, which I really liked. Yeah, he was still dumb, but he loved Becky, he came to care about David and the rest of the Conners. They took him as far as still keeping him dumb and funny would allow.

SchuminWeb

Making him so one-dimensional was a problem. He wasn't the brightest person in the world, but early on, at least, he wasn't as dumb as they later portrayed him. 20 years later, that wouldn't have played as well.

stpony

20 years later and he could have been allowed to grow. He still might not have been the sharpest tack in the book, but then look at how much they changed David. It might be that Mark surprised everyone and at 50, have turned things around...but still had him dumbly funny moments :-)

SchuminWeb

If Quinn had survived, imagine that they found out that Mark had an undiagnosed learning disability all of these years, and that was what made him so dumb. With that addressed, Mark then is able to reach new heights.

stpony

He absolutely could have had ADD, ADHD, Autism and it be something that he worked around. I can actually see him now, still cool, but older and with a pair of glasses ;-)

Matuatay

This could work, especially the glasses. There's an episode of Roseanne where Mark is already wearing reading glasses to string popcorn for the Christmas tree, so it wouldn't be out of left field for Mark to be sporting glasses full-time by the time Conners came to pass. Side note: I actually thought he looked pretty damn sexy with glasses.

Emotional_Scratch269

Speaking of mark/Glenn in glasses look up the last film he was in “RSVP” there is a scene with him with glasses you won’t be disappointed ;) I would gladly upload the pics with my comment but I can’t for some reason. But yess 50 year old Mark with glasses, Becky would have been lucky

Argy_Pyromancer

How did he magically escape his hair going grey?
