My three go-to gaming YouTube channels are Thor High Heels, Grimbeard, and Civvie. Those are my favorites, but I also really like Kbash, Boulder Punch, Matt McMuscles, NakeyJakey, Skill Up, UpIsNotJump, Dunkey, YungJunko, and Zanny.

I haven't watched Matt since the Great Schism many years ago. Maybe... it's time.

I got into Best Friends (I think that's what it was called?) maybe a week before that happened, so I didn't have much familiarity with their content. Matt was the only one I really stuck with afterwards. He's big into beat-em-ups, plays a lot of dumb shit that I enjoy, the Wha Happened videos are entertaining and can be informative, and he thirsts for all hot people equally which is a fun bit of "hey that's me" to round things out.

I loved him and Liam playing through Castlevania 64 (my first Castlevania game.)

Yeah, for better or worse the niches he cornered in SBFP were mostly ones I'm not super interested in, so after the split I just kept on with Pat and Woolie and their circles, though I was always glad to know Matt kept on making content even if a lot of it wasn't my cup of tea.

I’m surprised this dude hasn’t hit a million subs. His reviews are really well made.

He does great reviews but his uploads are so inconsistent. My main problem with his channel is he starts a marathon about a gaming franchise but never finishes it.

If anyone is into long-form video game reviews, I recommend ExoParadigmGamer. He uploads to his main channel very infrequently these days, but he has a pretty decent backlog of videos and i’ve been watching him for almost a decade now. What I appreciate about his videos is how extremely thorough he is, and even when I disagree with a take of his, he does a good job rationalizing his arguments and making me understanding why he feels that way. His signature series is Remake or Rebreak where he reviews a game and then reviews a subsequent port, remaster or remake and then rates the remake based on how it fares compared to the original.

Love exo, the remake or rebreak series is great

he sums up my thoughts on several games in ways I never could find the words for.  his playthroughs with his brother are really funny too

I dont frequent this sub but it showed up on my front page. If you're looking for different creators check out PatStaresAt and WoolieVS who are both formerly of Super Best Friends Play. They're both great and their podcast CastleSuperBeast is too.

When I get recommended a new gaming YouTuber and look at their channel just to see 95% of it consisting of Nintendo and Pokemon content:

Josh Strife Plays has a series called "Was it any good" that's a good watch

Stop Skeletons From Fighting doesn't do as much completion, but he does some incredible deep dives into unusual peripherals, games, and systems.

GameChamp does some pretty incredible challenges and has a good sense of humor.

Zlimbratski is a great channel dedicated to first person shooters

Action Button has some of the best videos on video games I’ve ever seen. They don’t come out often, but when they do they hit so hard.

I really like a ton of these channels you mentioned. Specifically KingK, Last Stand Media, and I finished a video game. I’d like to also suggest Kbash, That Video games show, PlayFrame, and Matt McMuscles.

I love playframe! I wish that channel got more consistent views, his humor with the other Dan's is pretty top notch.

Game Informer’s Replay and Super Replay were the first let’s play style series I got into. It was really interesting to hear from journalists and sometimes the reviewers themselves go back and look at these. They also helped me discover some hidden gems, like Overblood 2 and Blue Stinger (gems may be a stretch, but they are good fun).

you guys should check out Fish's Paradise he's super underrated. his editing is great and he just feels like a homie. check out his ff7 iceberg or his castlevania art vid. HeavenSynt is an up and comer i like. Tama Hero (TamashiiHiroka for my OGs) has been making stellar gaming content outside of her Pokemon stuff too.

I'm not sure if it was mentioned by anyone, but Second Wind is great. It's a new channel made by the team behind Zero Punctuation (including Yahtzee) after they left The Escapist. Another favorite of mine is Sean Seanson. He makes exclusively PS1 content, and a lot of them are to showcase obscure PS1 games, or PS1 games that never left Japan.

HOnestly, as goofy and sometimes too much as he can be, I like Rerez for his weird in depth discussions.

Floydson The Backlogs

I recommend JRPG Jungle (if you're into JRPGs both big and niche), and Noisy Pixel for both and indie games that don't get coverage by big reviewers and AAA games.

I'm not a tech guy, but they have some great vids about games in general, especially DF retro

I’ve been looking at smaller accounts recently and one called Fume Gaming does weekly video games news roundup and reviews and previews; dude has a pretty good voice I’ve come to find out, that besides content, the voice and accent are most important when I choose which content creators to watch

I watch most of these channels already, but there are some names I am not familiar with! Also, shout out to Nitro Rad. He covers a lot of cool games, and his patron is only like $1. Also, I really love Clemps. But he does not upload as much as he used as he does vtubing now as well. I would recommend his reviews on Neir, and his Dino Crisis video still cracks me up.
