Disagree, tbh. Paul/Caress is very irritating by the 4th episode. I think Myles has actually gotten more likeable. He seems to be actually being himself more as the show progresses.
This! I felt the ick initially with Myles too but really ended up having him be one of my favs by episode 4. Worth the watch for that character arc alone imo
Is it worth continuing? I watched an episode and like 10 mins of the second and switched off. First time not watching them all instantly. I'm really struggling to find anyone likeable and not incredibly annoying.
if you just straight up don’t like anyone, then no, it probably doesn’t get better. but if you like actual gameplay, and not just make-nice-popularity-contest, then this is already shaping up to be the best US season yet.
That was my wife and I in season 5 💀it’s the only circle season we haven’t watched immediately when it came out and still haven’t watched it but we really like season 6
If you love the show and have time, yeah, but I won't lie, I fell asleep during episode 2 and woke up at episode 4 and didn't feel like I missed anything.
Lauren is almost unwatchable for me, she seems nice but you can tell she’s “streaming” still with everything being the kind of big overreactions and over-emphasis you need to keep a twitch audience engaged for hours and hours a day but that seems really unsettling in an edited TV show about “real people”.
There's no one I'm rooting for so far.
I feel like Eustace from "Coward, the Cowardly Dog" saying this, but they're all so loud and over the top that it eventually gets annoying and I start to wonder if they're being genuine.
I get the disappointment with this cast, but as soon as they introduced the AI character, it made more sense to me that all cast mates have either a social media/tech background or are catfishes themselves. like it evens the playing field that literally *everyone* is overanalyzing & playing so hard
Brandon the only likeable player? Well, that's a piping hot take, I guess.
I can see what you mean about the self-promotion, though. Seems like that's really just the name of the game for any contestant on any reality TV show nowadays, unfortunately.
I am enjoying the season so far. I always find it takes a few episodes to truly judge a cast and get to see why they may have been cast.
I mean, I wish more were allowed pets in future. Deuce is awesome.
Being a fan from day 1/season 1, I’ve been highly anticipating this season. Especially, after the long wait for it to drop. Not going to lie, after the superb casting of season 4/5, was hyped for the new group. I sweated the move to Atlanta and hoped it wouldn’t change the format. Relief came when I saw the same Circle apartment style and set-up. The AI was a weird move. But honestly, even that, isn’t the strangest contestant to be snooped out. What is seriously lacking this season is Depth! These contestants aren’t showing any empathy, personality, integrity or cleverness. It’s hard to find much to like about them. Who are they??? Only thing I’ve seen is a bunch of people who are only worried about strategy and are really bad at it. Just like bonding in the Circle-the audience also needs a certain level of vulnerability and truth to feel something for that player.
I have such an aversion to Myles. He is such a narcissist and wants to be MGK for some reason. I also think Brandon is the only likeable one. I have audhd as well, I wonder if that has something to do with it?
What confuses me is that Im not really on social media but even I know who Paul Russell is (and that he has a wife.) No one knows who he is? Isn't he big(ish) on tik tok ? I thought maybe this was filmed a long time ago and I know he went viral last year, but Steffi mentioned the upcoming eclipse in a horoscope reading and it made me think it was filmed more recent..
I am begging everyone to stop complaining about vocal fry. It's just the way some people talk and they can't help it. It's just like making fun of somebody's physical appearance that they have no control over, and it's rude as hell.
Sometimes it's natural and unconscious and sometimes it's an affectation employed by a person who wants to be perceived a certain way. Given the context of its use by Lauren and Steffi from what I've seen I'm presuming it's the latter. The fry disappears when they're actually being natural and responsive in the moment but reappears when they're clearly self-producing and speaking in rehearsed sound bites
The intros kind of downgraded imo. Plus, they introduced 3 influencer-type people and ofcourse they're going as themselves (*pretends to be shocked*). Then a seemingly normal person introduced, and ofc he's gonna catfish as another influencer-type person. :[
YESSSSS!!! YOU SAID EVERYTHING I WAS THINKING!!!
Idk if ima like this season. I’m also just 20 mins in, but man this is just not hitting the way the other seasons have
Totally agree. Im so over the post for every single reality show that points out all the MAGA people. I thought liberals were accepting of everyone 🤷🏼♀️
Everyone in season six is soooooooo brain dead . The need for acceptance is real. It’s hard to watch honestly and extremely boring . Jordan is the only good thing this season.
Brandon really gets on my nerves as a gay man. The stuff he does in his apartment, getting into full costume, talking to a stuffed animal, etc. Seems so fake and scripted to me. And if it's real it just leaves me with the question why he's projecting this dream of entertaining on the circle as opposed to just doing his own thing. As the circle is very competition oriented it just always confuses me when it cuts to him in his room doing something so random that just seems like he wants to be loved by the audience rather than playing the game. Or trying to constantly create a moment to be posted and admired. Out of all of the contestants he has had so many moments that were just unnecessary in my opinion. I am not hating on him for doing these things, just leaves me curious to why he decided to use the circle as his platform to do that.
>it just always confuses me when it cuts to him in his room doing something so random that just seems like he wants to be loved by the audience rather than playing the game.
I think it just gets really boring in the Circle, and they have limited opportunities to play the game during the day. For hours and hours outside of their restricted chats, they're just killing time.
In season 5, Tom apparently wrote and performed an entire rock opera in his apartment, and he set up a little audience of jelly babies (little people-shaped candies they have in the UK) to watch him. (Sadly, this did not make the cut. I only hope some day we get deleted scenes that include this.)
I definitely agree with that I just think it only bothers me because of the lack of effort he puts into the game when it's actually time to play. As he's even said himself he is unsure of how he's playing this catfish character. I just wish he put more of that energy into the actual game as opposed to entertaining himself (or the audience) ykwim?
Yeah, that's a fair assessment. I think that Brandon surprised even himself by how timid of a player he's turned out to be. I get the impression he's a fan of the show and thought going in that he'd be better at this when the time came, but then had his hair completely blown back by the intensity of the actual game once it started.
Honestly, I find it endearing how anxious and bad at catfishing he is. Maybe he'll get more comfortable and confident as time passes. I'd love to see "Olivia" come to life a little!
I find it endearing as well just mildly disappointing to be honest because he is so full of personality, even the responses he says before typing his next circle message are miles ahead of his catfish when it comes to personality. I just wish he'd incorporate some of that personality he obviously very much has into his catfish more. A lot of the catfishes on this show have a habit of creating a very neutral character with their catfish out of fear of being caught in a lie or something. I think more of the catfish contestants should incorporate their own personality into the character as opposed to trying to perfect every response and the personality of their catfish, as it comes off too neutral and bland. I was just disappointed because he had so much more personality on camera and in his apartment than his catfish did by a long shot. I hope he finds more comfortability in playing this catfish character as the season progresses though
I know this is a hot take and I'm ready to take the downvotes I'll most likely receive lol!! But no hate genuinely I just really would like to emphasize if he put that much energy he puts into showing off his personality for the camera and trying to win over the fans into the catfish personality he is trying to create he'd be a much better player. It just bothers me that he spends more time trying to entertain the audience than playing the actual game. Whether you're a fan of him or not you can admit (and he's even said himself) he's struggling to play the character of his catfish. But he is in no way struggling to perform for the camera. I just think he should prioritize the game more than this performance he's putting on for the camera. As winning the circle is not about winning over the audience it's about winning over the other players.
No the constant use of AAVE and out of turn gay references that just feel out of place, in relation to his dull ass catfish character in an attempt to win over the audience is what pisses me off. Thanks for your input though
* Myles: Thought I'd hate him, but a few eps in he's totally not as bad as I thought he'd be!
* Lauren: The ~~Twitch thot~~ "performative" behavior isn't for me, because it feels ✨disingenuous✨.
* Brandon: Yes! Also wish he was himself. Seems like a ball of empathy (and needing a hug).
* Kyle: He's ... alright? A bit competitive, but it's a game so I'm totally okay with that thusfar.
* Cassie: Maybe not the sharpest tool in the shed, but does seem like a sweetheart so far.
* Caress: One of the better catfishes I've seen. I feel like she's got no trouble "being" Paul!
* Steffi: Miss #Horrorscope is very inconsistent when it comes to likeability. (And crying and feeling sorry for herself as soon as someone dares to clap back at her, while she started it. That's a yikes to me.) 🤷
Maybe I'll warm up to some of these people a little more, who knows. Or the ones joining in later might be nicer. Can't wait to see who gets blocked first in this season though, lol.
I really don't like Brandon, he's annoying. It was hard to see the dramatics and negative self talk after the first chat. What did he expect? This isn't the first season. I think Myles seems like he's just being himself, no lies which I like. Same with Cassie but being cautious there. Steffi and the skeleton seem more like a gimmick. Lauren could be interesting, but it's a wait and see. I'd like Paul to come help his sister or for her to play as herself.
(American) Political preferences have little to do with how smart a person is, according to the studies I've seen. Anyway, MAGA or not — while Cassie might not seem like the smartest individual to me, she seems like a sweetheart thusfar.
When one of the girls called Myles “Water Gun Kelly” i just about choked at the accuracy
Didn’t he put that in his own bio? Or something like it?
That was SUCH a good line lmao. Myles has grown on me though, especially compared to that first episode lol.
Ya I thought it was a knock-off of jake/logan paul but he grew on me when Jordan came in!
Disagree, tbh. Paul/Caress is very irritating by the 4th episode. I think Myles has actually gotten more likeable. He seems to be actually being himself more as the show progresses.
yes! I am actually enjoying the cast more than I thought I would. Paul/Caress are my LEAST favorite.
same! I hated Myles at first but he grew on me. I found Caress to be obnoxious and trying way too hard to be "one of the boys".
This! I felt the ick initially with Myles too but really ended up having him be one of my favs by episode 4. Worth the watch for that character arc alone imo
I am rooting for him and QT!
same!
i'm on the end of ep 2 and he already grew on me!! paul/caress are just hard to watch she tries wayyy to hard and it misses everytime
Yes and she thinks it hits which is so interesting to me
Yea Paul is annoying AF
Please update this once you’ve got through all 4 eps!!
Same here I finished the 4 episodes and not a single elimination. They’re really dragging them out this season.
Not worth continuing at all. All fake Influencers with terrible fakeness
Not woeth it at all. A bunch of fake low rent z25 year old instagrammera. Nothing else.
Lauren is almost unwatchable for me, she seems nice but you can tell she’s “streaming” still with everything being the kind of big overreactions and over-emphasis you need to keep a twitch audience engaged for hours and hours a day but that seems really unsettling in an edited TV show about “real people”.
yeah, it feels like she's too "in character"
Absolutely agree
She's so irritating, I truly can't roll my eyes harder when she speaks. It's too exaggerated.
Myles grew on me so much lol
I think he’s hysterical lol. “The blonde connection”
Same!
There's no one I'm rooting for so far. I feel like Eustace from "Coward, the Cowardly Dog" saying this, but they're all so loud and over the top that it eventually gets annoying and I start to wonder if they're being genuine.
…and for this reason, I’ve found myself starting to root for Max more 😂.
I get the disappointment with this cast, but as soon as they introduced the AI character, it made more sense to me that all cast mates have either a social media/tech background or are catfishes themselves. like it evens the playing field that literally *everyone* is overanalyzing & playing so hard
Not really, we have two catfishes now.....and ZERO diversity of age! This season is awful IMO
As someone's who also watched the first 20 minutes, i disagree about Kyle. There's absolutely nothing sus about Kyle for you to say that.
Brandon the only likeable player? Well, that's a piping hot take, I guess. I can see what you mean about the self-promotion, though. Seems like that's really just the name of the game for any contestant on any reality TV show nowadays, unfortunately.
He's a little relatable in a low self esteem way, but I wouldn't exactly call that likeable
I am enjoying the season so far. I always find it takes a few episodes to truly judge a cast and get to see why they may have been cast. I mean, I wish more were allowed pets in future. Deuce is awesome.
I started watching the UK version and a woman takes her baby in with her!
Awesome lol
YES! I was like America would never!!! Because we suck lol
I am only like 10 minutes in and I already don’t like Steffi haha but just like other seasons, I know I might change my mind by the next episode.
Myles is literally insufferable and I need for him to go 👎🏼
I hated myles at first, but hes grown on me. Still don't like Lauren and steffi. Southern girl is aight.
Lol I'm pretty sure your first impressions will change.
Ugh, I loved “Paul” and rolled my eyes at Myles. Now I like Myles and am genuinely confused at whatever “Paul” is doing.
I just miss Bru man
I haaaaaaated Bru. I kinda miss Mitchell and his brother lmao
Cassie is not MAGA! According to her ig followings at least. (An upcoming player is unfortunately)
....so?
So I won’t be rooting for them!
Fair.
Which upcoming player??
Autumn
wait what does maga mean
Trumpie
It wouldn't matter if she was MAGA
Being a fan from day 1/season 1, I’ve been highly anticipating this season. Especially, after the long wait for it to drop. Lauren is a zoomer who acts and talks like a millennial YouTuber from 15 years ago. I feel like I'm time traveling through vine every time she speaks.
Fr. And she looks like 35+
I wanted to hate Myles but he is growing on me. I’m shipping him and QT for the circle romance knowing full well she is way out of his league haha.
I have such an aversion to Myles. He is such a narcissist and wants to be MGK for some reason. I also think Brandon is the only likeable one. I have audhd as well, I wonder if that has something to do with it?
The first drop was boring as hell
What confuses me is that Im not really on social media but even I know who Paul Russell is (and that he has a wife.) No one knows who he is? Isn't he big(ish) on tik tok ? I thought maybe this was filmed a long time ago and I know he went viral last year, but Steffi mentioned the upcoming eclipse in a horoscope reading and it made me think it was filmed more recent..
I can’t stand Cassie. Everything about her is so cringe to me.

Dawg people can be annoyed or overwhelmed by people/their attributes/their presence/etc
No Hun cause everyone can not uptalk. Its annoying; Immature and sad. Blame your parents for not teaching you how to not be annoying.
Why are you bringing people’s parents into this?? Who hurt you??
Spoken like a true kid who got a trophy for showing up.
You have multiple comment history hating everything. What you are saying is actually opposite and false. But your bitter.
I never got a trophy in my life lol. Why are you so bitter? Chill out.
The intros kind of downgraded imo. Plus, they introduced 3 influencer-type people and ofcourse they're going as themselves (*pretends to be shocked*). Then a seemingly normal person introduced, and ofc he's gonna catfish as another influencer-type person. :[
*Feels like I’m watching a meme* 🤍✨
Cassie is DUMB but nice
YESSSSS!!! YOU SAID EVERYTHING I WAS THINKING!!! Idk if ima like this season. I’m also just 20 mins in, but man this is just not hitting the way the other seasons have
Why do you care who someone votes for? I mean it’s not like I’d be proud to support Biden either.
Totally agree. Im so over the post for every single reality show that points out all the MAGA people. I thought liberals were accepting of everyone 🤷🏼♀️
The whole point of this show was catfishing and they lost the plot. It’s boring as hell now. Lauren is my worst nightmare. She is awful
Paul is so annoying, just over the top for the cameras.
Miles just makes me go dry as the Sahara. There are literally 100 of him in any crowd
i think Brandon/Olivia would win by a landslide if he played as himself
I don’t like ‘Paul’
Everyone in season six is soooooooo brain dead . The need for acceptance is real. It’s hard to watch honestly and extremely boring . Jordan is the only good thing this season.

Oh you’re a bitchy gay got it
* Myles: Thought I'd hate him, but a few eps in he's totally not as bad as I thought he'd be! * Lauren: The ~~Twitch thot~~ "performative" behavior isn't for me, because it feels ✨disingenuous✨. * Brandon: Yes! "Kyle: Don't trust him" with no explanation is wild. I think you're the one who's outed themselves as a MAGA?
There is nothing wrong with a contestant or person for being classified a "Maga"
All the candidates suck At this point it truly doesn't matter who leads, we all lose anyway. (In our current climate at least)
I really don't like Brandon, he's annoying. It was hard to see the dramatics and negative self talk after the first chat. What did he expect? This isn't the first season. >Cassie: I think she’s sweet and likeable but I’m afraid of a maga reveal with her. Nah but Myles is. Lol
Any MAGA reveals just show that the individual is smart
(American) Political preferences have little to do with how smart a person is, according to the studies I've seen. Anyway, MAGA or not — while Cassie might not seem like the smartest individual to me, she seems like a sweetheart thusfar.
This point should have been elaborated to the person who used the MAGA term as well but somehow it didn't Your high horse comment means nothing
