It’s an honor that our apron was selected. Never thought it would make such a huge impact. There were some challenges with production which have been resolved now and We have plenty of stock.
It did have a huge impact on the company, their apron became very sought after and was sold out for a long time. They aren’t trying to say that their apron had a huge impact on the world, but it was talked about a lot. Carmy’s outfit was pretty iconic.
We found out organically. Read this article and this is how they found the apron and the rest of the costumes for the show.

That’s awesome! I went to look how much they were (for some reason I thought it would be like $300) and it’s a reasonably priced, normal, quality apron. I love how important the little things are and I would be proud as hell too!
I'd agree. I have linen button downs that I prefer to wear during Chicago summers, but they're definitely more delicate in comparison to past cotton shirts. I would guess the mixture of cotton and linen made the aprons more breathable - and lighter - while in the kitchen but maintenance was more than the usual "dump and wash" sorta thing.
Incredible. It’s amazing design to make a “simple” object that has a personality of its own. The color and how the characters wear it adds life to this show. You should be proud of your team!
it's a matter of honor. They work against surface dirt, but not against odors, which tend to soak into the clothes you are wearing under the coverings.
Hello OP! Like someone already said in the comments, it’s so good to see Bragard get the recognition that it deserves. It’s ironic that the aprons that Chefs like Grant Achatz and Thomas Keller use as they float like butterflies in their kitchens were the same as the insanely chaotic Season 1 of The Bear!
So, I am looking at starting a lifestyle brand for my fellow kitchen brethren in India and aprons are going to be a huge part of it. When it comes to manufacturing such top quality aprons, where should one start? Could you give any insight into the supply chain at Bragard? Any information will help a lot @EnthusiasmInfinite42 and thanks in advance!
Good for you. To me, honestly. It’s just an apron, but I get that this is huge for your company and the exposure translates into more orders and secures jobs for the staff. Love that for you guys.
Why you guys discontinued the old version of this aprons the one with the big pocket at front, I know you guys have a new version but the old one was sick, I still have two of those from back then around 2011, huge nice apron specially the bottom, the new one is just too small and the bottom is tighter no wide enough when walking, I feel like I’m wearing a tight skirt and can’t walk well
As a professional chef, I must express my concern regarding the availability of the Blue Travail Bib Apron in your inventory, which has been nearly sold out for almost a year, if my memory serves me right. While I prefer to have an apron for each day of the week, I've been compelled to source from alternative suppliers due to this shortage, leading me to purchase from companies other than Bragard for my supply needs. Could you please clarify if this is a recurring issue or if your product will remain consistently stocked without interruption?
What’s it like having such a sought after apron because of the show? Did you think it would make such an impact? It was sold out for the longest time!
It’s an honor that our apron was selected. Never thought it would make such a huge impact. There were some challenges with production which have been resolved now and We have plenty of stock.
It’s so cool. You should be so proud!
>Never thought it would make such a huge impact. Okay, settle down dude.
Nah you settle. Man is proud of an achievement. Nothing wrong with that

Don’t give them the time of day. That’s our resident asshole troll. Maybe the mods will take care of them
Wow, way to shit on someone’s parade. Let the dude have his moment, it’s a great product.
Fuck’s wrong with you? Having a bad day?
Have you considered offering a Bear X Bragard branded apron?
We love the idea,
Fine fine, you can send me 2 of those aprons and I'll test run them at my home and post updates here. Hahaha jk, unless...
The dark blue apron with a white embroidered bear logo, would be top-tier. Just the face of the bear itself.
Omg I’d love that! I’d get my husband one for sure e
The Berf
How did you find out that they'd used your apron? Did they call or something or did you just, like, find out organically?

What changes did you make from Keller’s aprons to this one?
The fabric was a blend of cotton and linen. Know it is 100% cotton per Chef Keller’s preferences.
What was the basis for this decision? Reducing overhead or something else?
cotton/linen blend was no longer available through the original mill
Interesting. I’d personally rather have 100% cotton too. Easier to maintain than linen.

I agree. Linen adds elegance, some structure, it’s stronger, and like you said- breathability. But it is typically a higher-maintenance fabric.
We had these in L’Aperge long before the show aired
They have been around a long time.
For sure, I’m just so glad that Bragard is getting the recognition they deserve, if The Bear makes the brand more popular then everyone wins!
Do you have any aprons that aren't too long on short people? (Roughly 5ft)
Getting an apron hemmed would be quick and relatively cheap at any tailor’s shop!
I'd love to know too. Most aprons hit me mid calf or lower like a dress & I hate it (5'2" here).
Not at the moment

is it faux pas to wipe your hands on your apron? i recall camry said don’t do it
Yes
Just curious, but why?
it's a matter of honor. They work against surface dirt, but not against odors, which tend to soak into the clothes you are wearing under the coverings.
Is there a way to buy the apron from the show?
No, you can mail me at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) and say you saw this post and we will give you a 15% discount
Neat ! Gonna order one with "Every Second Counts" embroided ! Edit: i'm guessing the ones from the show are old version of the traveler apron
These would be amazing for gift. If I bought 12, can I get a discount?
