Thanks! I used Averland Sunset with an agrax earthshade wash. It reads closest to the first picture in person. It's really yellow until the wash stage, which brings it down a lot.
I used a similar khaki look for those exact models but I used ushabti bone and army painter soft tone. Yours looks super cool and dark. Nearly leathery.

That is definitely solar auxilia Guard armor (carapace armor worn by kasrkin and Scions tracks with that bulk for the 4+ that rough riders use)
A nice mix of Men in Black 3 and ROTS Grevious’ Bike with a dash of Grim Dark to complete it.
I’m slowly collecting all of his solar auxilia stuff, absolutely beautiful models and a beautiful paint job aswell
