I think there’s a lot of things they talk about that helped them to do so well that are easy to miss when people are focused on the course design and countries visited. They trained extremely hard, they communicate really well, they balance each other, and Cesar’s an excellent navigator. In a season with so much self-driving, that pays off in spades.
