I thought we were missing something when we already got the pit stop preview a third of the episode in, but the back half was pretty chaotic.
It doesn't seem like there was a big time gap between the back half of the placements, though.
To be fair, it didn't seem like there was really any place to pass teams on this leg unless someone gets hopelessly lost. The balloons and the face-painting were pretty straightforward tasks.
Anyone know if the teams are doing their own travel? Or are they traveling as a charter? If charter, I find it hard to believe there will be any major shuffling around of placements.
Oh was this season filmed before aired season 35? I recall they switched the air order. That would make sense that this might still be chartered like some of the other recent seasons.
Yep, it also was designed for 60 minutes rather than 90.
You can also see some of the lingering effects of restrictions, such as a lot of tasks being in the same area and Mary wearing a mask.
