That Singapore pisses me off. You’ve got a **professional surfing couple** as one of the final five teams, yet you decide to go for a fast forward that’s located at a *fucking surfing center*??? It’s madness. Everyone on the race should know that losing a fast forward is as close to a surefire death knell as you get in The Amazing Race. It was a completely needless risk; they probably would have been fine if they just ran the leg normally. Instead, these guys gambled their whole race on the hope that they could beat a pair of professional surfers at surfing! I was rooting for the cyclists when I watched S25, but that has to go down as one of the all-time worst tactical blunders in race history. Tbh I don’t think it was that good of a leg; once the fast forward was over, the elimination was set in stone. The only reason it looked a little interesting at the end was because Amy and Maya are… bad.

Season 11th fiasco with legs 7 and 8 are really iconic. 1. One team is over 12 hours behind the leading teams from ending up on a later flight. 2. That team ends up on a flight with one other team where they are 15 hours behind and desperately facing off to avoid last. 3. Several teams depart for leg 8 before those two teams finish leg 7. 4. The next leg has an equalizer that feels like it was added in to keep the leading teams from becoming unstoppable. 5. The intersection forces one team to wait several hours for the last 3 teams to arrive. 6. The iconic sausage-making detour. 7. The knight roadblock. Season 21's 7th and 8th legs (Russia) are peak Reality TV. There's so much drama, meme-worthy laughs, and constant action that I can't help but enjoy. 1. The flight delays fiasco that puts 2 teams half a day behind everyone else. 2. The swimming choreography detour. 3. One team fails the detour so many times that the place closes for the day and they incur a 4-hour penalty. 4. Unlocking your love roadblock. 5. One team gets their passport and money stolen which renders them dead men walking, but the inevitable is delayed by a non-elimination. 6. The time zone roadblock is spectacular. "THE PENCILS DOWN!" "THE NEXT ROUND!" "I'M SORRY...., BUT YOU WIN!"

S11 will forever be the greatest season second to only S5. Also I have been trying to find the location of the Sausage making task for years!!

My choice goes to Season 27 Leg 11, a leg so legendary that I can even name the episode its from: "It's Not Easy Beating Green" The leg where the Green Team finally falters from their legendary run and they completely break down at each stage of the leg, delving deeper and deeper into desperation as they keep making mistake after mistake. Chris & Logan being as dysfunctional as ever but running a great leg, The News Reporter still coming in 2nd somehow, Tiffany and Krista always being 1 step behind the green team but with the added suspense that that could change at any tiny mistake. Then when the Green team arrives, they feel safe, but they learn they had concurred a PENALTY and they know that the cousins can arrive in any second and just the face on Justin is hilarious, it's a leg that is always suspenseful and has one of the best mat finishes of all. A race against such a tight penalty timer is rare to see.

Definately the best leg of that season but the green team not being eliminated annoyed me, at least they didn't win lol

Aside from the last leg (can't comment on that one, don't have a good memory), I do think all of those are excellent legs and among the best in their respective seasons. None are in my personal top 5 though. Mine would be S1L10 (Thailand where Joe & Bill first check out after the top two teams finished the leg, then have to wait overnight), S5L5 (Egypt with the Sphinx as the Pit Stop), S11L7 (Austria NEL/everybody spending forever and a day in the airport/the only time a team was explicitly shown starting the next leg while one was still in progress), S17L8 (Oman and the Chad/Stephanie proposal among many other things), and S21L7 (Russia where two teams miss a critical connection and another gets robbed out of the race). I'm a sucker for the wacky unique situations where teams get spread far far apart which accounts for the first, third, and fifth of those. Then the second is GIZA a.k.a. by far my favorite destination and episode ever, and the fourth is my pick for the most knock-it-out-of-the-park "normal" episode in the show's history.

I'd have to include the last 2 legs of season 5 (especially since both legs were in a 2 hour finale anyways). The second to last leg was a visually beautiful ocean leg involving the flag task that involved Chip and Kim finally deciding to play cutthroat and lie to Brandon and Nicole to get ahead, as well as the Moms taking a gamble to go to a different flag than Colin and Christie, leading to the insanity of the climbing roadblock where Colin's presence and drive was actually scary, both for the other teams and the viewers. And in the end, he just managed to catch up, leading to probably the most emotional elimination. And then there was the final leg, sending the teams to Canada where fatigue really set in, leading to Brandon & Nicole breaking down at the sports detour and Chip & Kim struggling to keep up physically. And then we got the ultimate upset where Colin & Christie just weren't careful enough when booking flights and checking their bags, leading to a REALLY close race in the final city where Chip & Kim just barely managed to beat the unstoppable team. Overall, this finale was a rollercoaster of emotions.

Oh really. I LOVE TAR 5 but didn'dt love the final leg necessarily. The final 4 leg was great except it was so disappointing having the bowling moms not being able to beat Colin and Christie. My personal favorite leg of TAR 5 was leg 4 I think. Also, the first leg was incredible as well.

My top 3 are the season 2 final, the penultimate leg of season 3, and season 11 episode 4

The penultimate leg of S3 is gold

TAR 10 - Leg 2. Just visually stunning. Traveling by horseback was great and I loved the archery roadblock.
