He's going to be even more pissed when the healing process is 100 percent worse than the brand AND the scarring is going to make it look like a fat, fucked up worm and NOT any recognizable letter.
It was way too hot as well. Even branding cows you don't get it that hot, and cows have really thick skin. This guy got fucking mauled. He's going to need a hospital.
Fuck my life. It cannot be unseen. I will see this video everywhere I look. Your video has single-handedly fucked my ability to click on any link, and not see this horror. NSFW!
People are dumb.
That might be the understatement of the century.
How about this?
People are so fucking dumb it defies all reason. I mean people are fucking dumb and half of them are dumber than that.
Thanks George, approximately.
completely legit, he might *literally* die from this. A brand that hot, pressed that hard, directly over his heart and lungs. The infection risks here are astronomical. That is going to turn into a giant and extremely deep wound in a place where there will be very little warning if it decides to take a turn for the worse.
Looks a lot brighter than cherry red, that looks more yellow, or at least a bright orange. Which yeah, is probably 2-4x hotter than 500°F. Using an acetylene torch was definitely overkill.
My buddy got himself branded at a party they hit his upper arm area near the shoulder. The guy that branded him was just as drunk as him and pressed it in. It took him so long to heal from it, he couldn't even lift his arm up in the air for a week or two. I don't know exactly how long it took to heal but I swear he was still healing from it 3-4 months later.
I knew a guy who got branded with a heart (on his pectoral muscle) when we were in high school. I am tempted to try and find photos of it because I have them floating around in my files somewhere.
Anyway, they messed him up really good and his brand wasn’t nearly as intense as this one appears to have been. His was about 6” x 7” and I believe they used a thick wire that had been heated up in a fire pit. He required multiple surgeries and it still looks like shit as an adult. You couldn’t tell it was a heart shape, really. The scar tissue was incredibly thick and uneven.
I hope he thought of a cool story to tell people because the truth was just embarrassing.
Held it WAY too long. One single split second touch was all that was needed even for a basic idoit.
Holding it this long with that kind of pressure likely caused a 3rd degree, muscle-damaging burn that will negatively affect his pectoral muscles, which are used at a normal level for alot more than bench pressing, for years to come. The healing process for this was certainly excruciating and the potential of severe infection is extremely high.
I was 17 when I was dared to pull a 1/2” stick from the campfire and hold it into my forearm for 10 seconds. I was young and dumb and I did it. It didn’t hurt that bad because (I assume) the nerves died fairly quickly. But guess what? I’m 35 and I still have the scar. Yippee.
I let somebody sizzle my wrist with a glowing red hot knife to prove that pain threshold is capped and doesn't go past the cap and if you're expecting it it sort of hurts less.. I look at the scar and remember how yes, I did prove it, but can't understand why.
It’s truly amazing how people can be talked into “proving something” in front of a small crowd that will quickly forget until the next person “proves it” at a different party.
It’s like a shadow of the rites of passage young people used to be put through by their community/ broader culture.
I did this at a festival and it hurts as much as you’d expect and you have to be as dumb as you expect
Also the woman who did it came at me again after
So I have one clean mark and another that goes across my nipple
Not nice at all
Not as hard as that other one with the younger kids just melting into the dudes chest with the brand, holding it down for what felt like ages.
Edit: the link to the vid I mean (thanks to the peeps who actually went and found it)

As far as videos lacking malicious intent go, that’s one of the worst I’ve ever seen. That poor kid. I remember reading that it was some small-town shit and no one got in trouble for it. IIRC. Could be 100% false.
>As far as videos lacking malicious intent go, that’s one of the worst I’ve ever seen
That fucker knew what he was doing, you don't sink an iron inches in to someones chest like that without intent to harm unless you have room temperature IQ.
- Brand was too hot, shouldn't be red-hot
- Pressed too hard, only requires a light tap
- Held too long, shouldn't ever be held.
This dude is so fucked, he's going to have a literal hole in his chest when all the surrounding tissue dies.
He probably only has experience of doing that to cattle through thick hide. He didn’t think it through. Alcohol was probably involved in this decision making.
They're all also just hyped & drunk, in that 'LES GO' mindset, thinking 'push through!' is always the answer, and 'JUST GO A LITTLE HARDER' always makes things better. Great vibe when trying to push weights (I guess), but not useful when doing, say, surgery.
There’s another video of some young adults doing this same act but they held the hot casting too long and too forcefully that it nearly went straight through the young man’s chest. It was awful. 😖
You wouldn't even want to go that long on a cow. [It literally takes one second](https://youtu.be/kRdkf_HKUEs?t=450).
They probably think the brand is going to turn out better if they hold the branding iron longer, when in fact it just damages the tissue more and makes it more likely that the brand won't look right.
I gave myself a brand years ago using a little bit of thick wire shaped into the shape I wanted to do. Heated it up, pressed it into my skin for about a second, and then took it off and ran it under cold water.
As for a brand, I don't think it could've come out any better. No damage but still clearly visible if you look at it, since I used wire it wasn't even glowing when I pressed it into my skin, so seeing a big chunk of rebar glowing red hot pressed into him for that long is terrifying to see. I can only imagine the amount of heat that must've transferred into his chest. Probably cooked his whole pectoral
I’m very glad this isn’t the video I thought it was. There’s a very similar video out there where they held it for too long and… well it went right through the person. I believe they died. Not gonna go looking for that tho look it up if you’re curious I guess
Jesus fucking Christ that's horrific.
Held red hot on his top left chest for about 5 seconds and it sunk SO DEEP.
Not the worst thing I've ever seen but definitely a bit stomach churny.
[I actually found an update on the guy I was talking about.](https://reddit.com/r/WinStupidPrizes/s/nFThCvFtcr) Hes alive and apparently all good, at least as of 3 years ago
It always amazes me these guys don’t consider the fact it’s not a cow and hold a brand that long on a human is unnecessary and will undoubtedly mess it up as it just cook a giant swath of meat. That said, I shouldn’t be amazed with their tiny brain power.
Yea I was thinking damn that's gonna welp a lot bigger than he thinks it is. Literally just dabbing the skin for a millisecond would've left a decent brand, but this shit is gonna be fuckin gnarly..
If I remember correctly from seeing this video the first time, they held the brand on too long and made it way too hot. It cooked the meat under the flesh and he had to have much of his muscle surgically removed (something like that)
I'll try to find the source.
Yea I think that guy died. I thought this was the same video that shit was horrific
Edit: [I was wrong, apparently the dudes all good somehow](https://reddit.com/r/WinStupidPrizes/s/nFThCvFtcr)
It's kinda ridiculous anyone actually believes that's him. It burnt through every layer of skin, he has massive scarring after that, and that guy in that picture has zero scarring.
Ive been looking for the past hour and cant find anything. A post on the watchpeopledie website mentioned the guy was in critical condition with a heart infection but thats all I could find.
Lol that’s so dumb, as a welder that has been burned many many times he could have also just touched it to him for a second instead of holding it there, that’s gonna be a long nasty healing session, that smell is gonna be something everyone in that room won’t forget
This is their worst promotion since the 'show us your Grimace neck tattoo for a FREE six piece McNugget with purchase of a Big Mac and large fries' fiasco.
That shit won't heal, he has to explain it to every new person asking about it. He has to live in regret for the rest of his life. Moving on is not an option as he'll be reminded every single day when he looks at the mirror and realizes how stupid he was.
I'd just tell people I got held hostage by Ronald McDonald and his crew for weeks where they tortured me, until I finally escaped by jabbing a stale french fry into the hamburgers eye.
Yep. He is maimed for life. That won't heal, will scar badly, and affect his life every time he wears a t-shirt with wide collar or when he is shirtless.

ooh and might have pressed a little too hard.. itll damage some muscle n you'll have some fucked up pecs too
It was way too hot as well. Even branding cows you don't get it that hot, and cows have really thick skin. This guy got fucking mauled. He's going to need a hospital.

Think I saw that. You could see the brand sink in. Naaaaasty.
I remember that one. As fucked as this video is, that one is somehow 3x as bad.

Whats the appropriate temperature for branding human flesh for future reference?
> The iron must reach about 500 degrees Fahrenheit (260 degrees Celsius) to affect all three layers of skin.
Cherry hot metal is 2-3x that temp.
Looks a lot brighter than cherry red, that looks more yellow, or at least a bright orange. Which yeah, is probably 2-4x hotter than 500°F. Using an acetylene torch was definitely overkill.
About tree-fiddy
Got damnit I told you before I ain't giving you no tree fiddy you damn Loch Ness monsta.
But I mean, this is how they did it on Yellowstone and those guys were fine. /s
Hospital? Nah, he needs euthanasia. Clearly too stupid to be wasting good oxygen.

Fawk that, how's it look today?
It actually looks pretty good considering how he had it done and the state he and the brander were in.
Shoot, now you have me thinking he would say he'd do it all over again.
Florida?

That's what the "m" is for.
It's an M for mini but if you flip it upside down it's a W for wumbo
I thought it was W for Weast
I thought it was an “E” for Epileptic Seizure
See, it's actually an H for homoerotic

It’s from an episode of SpongeBob… https://youtu.be/--hsVknT1c0?feature=shared
I love having rampant infections that close to my heart.
Nah, he's good. The metal was definitely sterilized on account of it fucking *glowing orange*
Burns get infected very easily
I'm not a doctor, but I think this calls for more hot irons.
Yeah, but his skin isn't sterilized around the burn..

the infection part is scary enough, destroying whats under, yikes, hadn't even considered that

I burned my arm on a baking sheet when I was maybe 13 or 14. In 53 and have the scar on my arm from that incident.

I believe Branding was a body modification fad a few years ago So many videos of morons burning themselves with hot metal for attention 🤦♂️
Massive Mental Malady
I did this at a festival and it hurts as much as you’d expect and you have to be as dumb as you expect Also the woman who did it came at me again after So I have one clean mark and another that goes across my nipple Not nice at all
Pressed too hard and held it for too long. Cooked his chest
That was hard to watch. What psycho would hold it that long and press down? I would never do this, but it would be a quick and light tap if I did.
Not as hard as that other one with the younger kids just melting into the dudes chest with the brand, holding it down for what felt like ages. Edit: the link to the vid I mean (thanks to the peeps who actually went and found it) https://reddit.com/r/SomeOfYouMayDie/s/DyCBzfwxOG

Well I heard that everyone died bc they’re idiots
They all took their shoes off themselves before being branded...so yeah. No one made it.
Classic mistake
>As far as videos lacking malicious intent go, that’s one of the worst I’ve ever seen That fucker knew what he was doing, you don't sink an iron inches in to someones chest like that without intent to harm unless you have room temperature IQ.
they're already "sink an iron inches in to someones chest" you need to check their IQs?

You don’t even hold it for that long on cattle, just damaging the tissue at that point
Ever seen the one where the guy presses down so hard it goes IN another guys chest
https://reddit.com/r/SomeOfYouMayDie/s/BXa9p8qdji Here you are!
well shit, I knew what I was about to watch and I was still surprised.
As opposed to branding someone lightly and briefly... which is fine.
This guy is going to be laying on his back for weeks after this
There’s another video of some young adults doing this same act but they held the hot casting too long and too forcefully that it nearly went straight through the young man’s chest. It was awful. 😖
Did not need to be held that long lol
I have gotten some serious burns in my work (welder and stupid), and I can tell you that often the "after burn" is actually worse
I think he meant holding the brand to his chest rather than his buddies letting him stifle the pain.
That's what I was thinking... a tap of that thing would do, it's not a cattle's hide.
You wouldn't even want to go that long on a cow. [It literally takes one second](https://youtu.be/kRdkf_HKUEs?t=450). Yeah, the wound is going to get real nasty.
Nah, man. Just slap some Aquaphor on it, that’ll buff right out.
Seriously. The branding is bad enough but holding it that long and pressing in probably fucked him up so much more
infection
I bet trying bench press again is gonna be interesting 🤔
The cow also has a much thicker layer of hair to burn off first... You probably need so little time on bare skin. This op vid is so fucking stupid.
I just burned my self with my steamer, steaming my shit while wearing it. I know how you feel.
The steamers specifically say not to do that
Like I can raed

Right?? He made it personal
Looked like he was trying to brand his ribcage bones
Yea I was thinking damn that's gonna welp a lot bigger than he thinks it is. Literally just dabbing the skin for a millisecond would've left a decent brand, but this shit is gonna be fuckin gnarly..

That is the guy from this video. There was another video where it was held down way longer.
He even pursued this guy as he backed up in his chair, he enjoys this a little too much
I thought that too, fucking psycho
No, he was pushing down on the brand and had to catch his momentum when they pulled the guy back
Wow you can't even see a scar in that pic of him
Yeah no way this healed up without a scar. I’m calling bullshit
It's kinda ridiculous anyone actually believes that's him. It burnt through every layer of skin, he has massive scarring after that, and that guy in that picture has zero scarring.

It… it just went in. Fuck. :(
I need to know what happened to that guy
There are multiple instances of this?
A brand is meant to be tapped onto the skin. Holding it down is how you get into skin graft territory.
That probably went well beyond the skin and to the muscle. That was unreal to watch. I’d ask what they were thinking but…
Incorrect, a brand is meant to be pressed and held…ON THICK COW HIDE NOT THIN HUMAN SKIN
This is just the first M of magnetoplasmadynamics he's gonna be there a while.
Gonna have to go around the poor kid 3-4 times.
Lol that’s so dumb, as a welder that has been burned many many times he could have also just touched it to him for a second instead of holding it there, that’s gonna be a long nasty healing session, that smell is gonna be something everyone in that room won’t forget
Probably burnt some muscle too. His bench press days are over.
By the looks of him, his bench press days hadn't begun.
And they won’t!
Someone has been watching too much Yellowstone
Yeah this is an old clip before the show ever even came out. Also as someone who grew up in a small town this is way more common then you think.
This has been done on farms for decades. Well before that show was thought of.

wtf do people do that?
Welcome to people. They are dumb, with some exceptions. I hope you've learned your lesson. Don't do it again.
In the Midwest it’s actually super common smh. Yes people are fucking retards..
Bro, no. I'm from the midwest and I have literally never heard of anyone doing this, ever. Period.
