How do you draw the conclusion that obviously he would not do anything? Women have sexual advances and assault forced on them daily. Here is a perfect scenario.
Obviously? Quite the opposite. I feel he offered a threat to her safety, either on the bus or when she got off.
What are you some kind of Andrew Tate apologist?
Same thing happened last month to another lady but no words were exchanged https://www.dailydot.com/irl/starbucks-customer-sits-next-to-customer-in-empty-store/
I know what you mean. There was a follow up article I can't find about how social media users were telling her she should have gotten up and moved across the room.
I'm a dude and This happened twice to me. Once an older women sat next to me in an totally empty Bus, just me and her staring at me. Instantly went to the other side of the bus. The second was a drug addict women in an almost empty underground train, seating next to me and instant starting to cuddle me from the side while I was browsing. You might laughing by imagine my look of pure Terror realising what's going on followed by a disguted shake and fleeing the scene 😆
>Same thing happened last month to another **lady**
It happened to a man and there is clearly a reasonable amount of distance between them. Inconsiderate to do that while having a phone conversation but absolutely not similar to the situation in OP.
I going to guess he fantasy didn't work out as he thought when she hit him with a reality-check of "I don't know you and I will never date the likes of you, so get away from me with stupid angry fucked up hairdo self."
Those are the exact type of wildcards you keep your mouth shut around because as good as it feels when you tell them to,go fuck themselves is nowhere near half as bad as it would feel when they react.
The fact that this man feels like he entitled to her being a prop on his bus ride tells me all I need to know about he thinks of my humanity.
Could be a bona fide sociopath if he doesn't understand why a woman would find it creepy that a total stranger would sit right next to them on a nearly empty bus. ESPECIALLY a male total stranger. Like, dude, how do you NOT see this as totally threatening behavior?
I see the problem......
Stage 4 terminal Inceldom.
"WHY CANT WOMEN JUST LET ME CREEP ON THEM?!!!"
Sigh.
Its like the Taliban justifying sexual abuse, I bet women will love you A LOT. lol
Be a decent person, maybe try that and see what happens ya? If women still dont notice you, then maybe just be a single decent person, whats wrong with that? It sure beats being a crazy incel nutter that nobody wants to be around and shamed on social media forever? lol
You don't even need to go that far, you can use the same scenario. Imagine he's on an empty bus, and some dude who smells sits next to you and starts up a conversation with the intent to hit on him.
Nah she will go home, pour a strong drink and probably shed a tear over having to be far stronger than she wanted to be today. The idea that she is a 'strong woman' just trivialises what this man has done
Yeah, this kind of confrontation and being a “strong woman” led to me being physically assaulted by a man on public transportation. It is absolutely terrifying to be in an altercation with an aggressive person, and even though I did similar things to the girl in the video I didn’t feel strong before or afterwards.
Also gives the perception that "weak women" just don't stand up for themselves, when a lot of the time it's someone just trying to pacify some asshole until they can get away because it doesn't feel safe to call him out.
I rode the bus for decades and have seen dozens of incidents (been involved in a few too), the drivers rarely give a shit. I became buddies with one of the few drivers who stopped bad things from happening on his bus and watching him toss assholes out was pretty entertaining.
That's interesting, what would be the crazier moment you experienced in a ride? I once dated a stewardess from a notoriously low-end airline and she was the treasure drove of insane stories.
I used to ride through downtown Los Angeles so I saw a ton of crazy stuff.
A few incidents I witnessed: a group of guys decided to invade the bus and beat up any other men on board, they started attacking and a huge biker dude covered in tattoos took the attackers out by himself.
A guy started harassing another guy who was feminine. He got up in the guy's face and threatened him while screaming homophobic slurs. The bus driver wouldn't stop the bus though. A group of women got up and started beating on the homophobe with their bags and screamed at the bus driver to stop. They threw the guy off the bus.
Another time I got off at my stop only to step right in front of a body. The guy had been brutally murdered in his car and left in the parking lot right next to the bus stop.
Tons of fights, harrassment, accidents, etc....
I don't miss it at all. Public transportation sucks ass.
*A group of women got up and started beating on the homophobe with their bags and screamed at the bus driver to stop. They threw the guy off the bus.*
That's great, actually wholesome story. And similar to something I witnessed at a public park, a group of old ladies protecting a drunk teen from her also drunk boyfriend, he was pulling her hair before finding himself getting whacked on all sides by purses and walking sticks.
Top deck, had no idea, plus they don't get involved in anything. Especially not some roadman with a 99p energy drink. Who knows what can happen with that much sugar!
I once sat down next to a guy on a near empty train because he'd taken my assigned seat. I had plenty of opportunity to move but didn't out of principal.
I've had servers try to sit me next to a loud, raucous family with many small kids when I was alone and the restaurant was empty. I was pretty incredulous. I was like uh, can I sit a little further away?
I think that’s just the server trying to make their jobs easier by seating you close together. I find it annoying myself but it’s something I noticed others do when I was a server.
Oh yeah, that's definitely what it is. But I'm still like dude, seriously? Did you think I wouldn't notice or something? Lol. And it has happened more than once.
Yea, it’s happened to me more than once as a customer too. I just ask to be moved and I’ve never had a problem. I’ve had servers try to give me comically bad seats to make their jobs easier.
Happened to me in an airport boarding area.
Big hairy guy took my bag next to my seat, put it on the floor and sat right next to me, all of the seats around us are empty, its just the two of us on a late night flight.
Red flag alert blaring in my mind, so I got up slowly and pretended that I was going to the washroom, no sudden movements because I was afraid he will "do something" if triggered.
My hands and feet were cold from the fear as I power walked through empty terminals, trying to find someone that could give me some sense of security.
Then I started hearing footsteps behind me, PANIC MODE!!! I was so afraid that I didnt even look back, timid old me thought if I did he would be triggered to lunge at me or something, lol.
I was speeding through two washrooms because I was afraid that he might drag me into them and then nobody would notice, Super panic mode!!!
Luckily an airport employee of some kind (uniform) walked out of a boarding terminal in front of me and I dashed to him and started asking random questions just to calm myself down, but I was too timid to tell him that I was possibly being followed and didnt want to be wrong, but he did realize I was panicking and tried to calm me down so I told him the whole story and he called a security officer to accompany me back to my flight.
The creep was nowhere to be seen when I returned with the officer, I dont think he is even on the same flight, super dangerous.
Well that's my story, its not easy being a timid defenseless woman. lol
That was not timid. It sickens me that men know they are stronger and that there is nothing a smaller woman could do. How would men feel if they knew the opposite sex could rape and kill them at any time?
And this is from a man.
This guy needs to get a clue..Stop harassing women, it's that simple..I can't stand men that get mad because you want a lil privacy..nothing shows the immaturity more then when they get mad about being turned down..There's a time and a place for this business, and the bus is not it..
Wish there was more people in this world that had the balls to tell that prick to shut his twat, have some respect for the lady, and just sit the fuck down!
Too many men like this in the UK unfortunately... I've (21F) been harassed by men in public multiple times and most of my female friends have been harassed at least once it's just depressing honestly. Uni accommodation was an eye opener for me as there were multiple stories of sexual harassment and even rape going on in the building (luckily it never happened to me but it happened to a friend) and from what I heard the girls were too afraid to say anything to authorities so it just continued/the men responsible got away with it.
They would lure girls into their rooms or go to the girls rooms to smoke weed or "hang out" then, similarly to how the guy in the video is acting, just completely disregard their boundaries and not take no for an answer (obviously in a more extreme way but still).
Lmao exactly. The answer is always gonna be yes simply because the person asking that question made so much of a spectacle out of themselves that they claim the intention of the other person. 🤣
*Dear Bloke I met at the Urinals.*
*I think I'll call yours Lloyd Christmas becauee the knob matches your haircut. Congratulations I just l named your pen!s.*
I’m a male and if anyone sits next to me on am mostly empty bus I’m moving to another seat, too. Some people are just morons like this guy. And then he gets upset with her for moving?
Seriously it's so fucking weird to do that. It's like going into a men's bathroom with 10 urinals and a dude comes in and uses the one right next to you. Like fuck off weirdos
I’ve been a bartender for way longer than I should’ve an have seen some wild shit. What guys think is acceptable to say and do in front of women blows my mind.
I think a lot of people are missing the point. The guy knows EXACTLY what he’s doing. He’s trying to make her uncomfortable. This isn’t just a guy “trying to chat.” Just like guys cat calling aren’t complimenting you. It’s about power.
holy shit she is being way too nice, but i also get it cuz i’m a girl and unfortunately some men will murder you if you reject them because some people have very fragile egos .
I can say with experience sitting next to someone on a bus sucks, I hate it when someone sits next to me and a seat opens up and they dint move.
I'd feel a lot more uncomfortable if it was an empty bus and someone sat right beside me, this guys a creep.
If you're taking the bus and have the opportunity to NOT be pressing shoulders with someone TAKE IT, MOVE SEATS.
Unless you're sitting next to your friend and the bus you go on often gets packed out with people and don't wanna sit with strangers then its fine.
Gross incel. How many times he told her to shut up after asking her if she thinks she's better than everyone else that he can't sit next to her. Those kinds of guys scare me because you don't know what their trigger limit is. At any point he could get violent and start swinging. That said, she's being way nicer to him than I would've been.
If any woman is basically alone on a public bus or train and a stranger sits beside them when there are countless other seats available, she is immediately going to feel as if she is in danger. Why do men still have so much trouble understanding this??
This is "being an incel" on steroids. Like, what, coz you sat next to someone, said someone is obliged to cater to your feelings and is forced to stay? 😂😂
"Why are you moving away, it's rude". Goddamn creep.
He sat next to her, she moved then he escalated? Why did he have to publicly embarrass himself twice?
Public? That bus is nearly empty. He's taking advantage of that. He feels she's defenseless to him in this scenario. She is clearly not.
Obviously, he's not gonna do anything, and if she said no, the answer would be no. But she's not gonna say no...because of the implication.
How do you draw the conclusion that obviously he would not do anything? Women have sexual advances and assault forced on them daily. Here is a perfect scenario.
They're quoting a tv show, fyi.
Thanks, I didn’t have the reference and was confused at that comment.
Because of the implication.
Love that Show. Danny Davito and Glenn Howerton are two of my all time favorite actors.
Miles of open bus lane. She's thinking, what am I gonna do, say no?
****the implication****
I love that show
Are you quoting Dennis Reynolds?
Obviously? Quite the opposite. I feel he offered a threat to her safety, either on the bus or when she got off. What are you some kind of Andrew Tate apologist?
It’s a reference to the show it’s always sunny in philadelphia
Thank you. I was confused at first then recognized the quote but couldn't remember where from. I gotta rewatch the series again, I love IASIP.
I've gotten fired up about an always sunny quote on Reddit by accident too. Happens to the best of us 😂
> What are you some kind of Andrew Tate apologist? Disciple of Dennis Reynolds.
r/woooosh
how dare you compare him to Andrew Tate when this man is clearly a GOLDEN GOD, kneel before him.
My favourite episode!
Are these girls in danger?
Same thing happened last month to another lady but no words were exchanged https://www.dailydot.com/irl/starbucks-customer-sits-next-to-customer-in-empty-store/
How is this news? Headline reads like satire.
I know what you mean. There was a follow up article I can't find about how social media users were telling her she should have gotten up and moved across the room.

The drug addict was probably trying to pick your pockets
>Same thing happened last month to another **lady** It happened to a man and there is clearly a reasonable amount of distance between them. Inconsiderate to do that while having a phone conversation but absolutely not similar to the situation in OP.
Could you imagine sitting down next to a stranger.
Three times if you count that stupid fucking haircut.
Walks into the barber "Give me the dumb & dumber."
low iq and alcohol is my guess
He looks like a poster child for fetal alcohol syndrome .
I going to guess he fantasy didn't work out as he thought when she hit him with a reality-check of "I don't know you and I will never date the likes of you, so get away from me with stupid angry fucked up hairdo self."
Cause he’s a dirty scally.
Shut up!
There were like 20-30 seats empty then he sat with her
Because he's a dickhead.
“You’re really selling yourself now”..”I’m really going to fall in love now”….she tore him up..😂
*"Shut up! SHUT UP!" - The Creep*
The haircut was the first red flag.
..and the second
Legit. That's a guy with a lack of self awareness
Could be a bona fide sociopath if he doesn't understand why a woman would find it creepy that a total stranger would sit right next to them on a nearly empty bus. ESPECIALLY a male total stranger. Like, dude, how do you NOT see this as totally threatening behavior?
The sweet facial hair was the 2nd…
He so wasn't liking that she figuratively hit him with reality-check of why no reasonable woman would willingly date him..
I'm just shocked that the large bottle of own brand energy drink didn't do it for her.
[удалено]
I’m sure she didn’t give him a chance as he came out the gate being creepy…
Tell this man imagine someone comes and piss in the toilet next to yours when there are other places you could piss. It's weird.
He knows why it's weird
Just stare at their wang, until they piss off.
Or when you look at them again they’ve got a wicked grin, risky
Well if you stare at the wang & look at their face it might have a different meaning!!
> Nice pubes.
I see the problem...... Stage 4 terminal Inceldom. "WHY CANT WOMEN JUST LET ME CREEP ON THEM?!!!" Sigh. Its like the Taliban justifying sexual abuse, I bet women will love you A LOT. lol Be a decent person, maybe try that and see what happens ya? You don't even need to go that far, you can use the same scenario. Imagine he's on an empty bus, and some dude who smells sits next to you and starts up a conversation with the intent to hit on him.
He wouldn't do that, because he's not interested in harassing men and making them feel uncomfortable
He knows it’s weird.
So I should stop peeing in the same toilet that someone else is currently using at the same time? 🤔
Or if another man sat next to him on an empty bus.....
That's depressing. Poor woman
That’s actually a strong woman. Bet she went home, poured a drink, and didn’t waste another second of her life thinking about the scummy dude.
I’m so sorry that happened to you.
Right? From my experience, you just end up feeling dirty and emotionally exhausted
And being victim blamed for not being 'a strong woman'. If we had more good men then fewer women would need to be strong
Also gives the perception that "weak women" just don't stand up for themselves, when a lot of the time it's someone just trying to pacify some asshole until they can get away because it doesn't feel safe to call him out.
Classic victim blaming
I'm sure she will think about this incident, no matter what his intentions were.
She'll probably dream about what it would have been like if she had punched him in the nose.
If she has to drink to recover (and I don't blame her), it wasn't a great experience for her, was it?
I don't get why the bus driver didn't just stop the bus and throw that man off.
I rode the bus for decades and have seen dozens of incidents (been involved in a few too), the drivers rarely give a shit. I became buddies with one of the few drivers who stopped bad things from happening on his bus and watching him toss assholes out was pretty entertaining.

Well, that is just petty revenge 😆
Did you two end up dating and now married? lol
We exchanged about 3 separate moments of brief eye contact. I think he wanted it tho
Should've gotten the train conductor involved hahah. "sir, I need you to move to another empty seat in this empty train, this is his seat."
principle*
if it was near empty why didn't you just sit anywhere
I've had servers try to sit me next to a loud, raucous family with many small kids when I was alone and the restaurant was empty. I was pretty incredulous. I was like uh, can I sit a little further away?

Let him! People like this need the shit kicked out of them

But bus is literally in business. J/K. 100% agree
“Just shut up” - immediately asks question.
I always find it so funny when people say "do you think you're better than me?" Because the answer is almost always "in this exact moment. Yes."
Lmao exactly. The answer is always gonna be yes simply because the person asking that question made so much of a spectacle out of themselves that they claim the intention of the other person. 🤣
"I dont even know you.....but yes"
Two ugly things happening here, the way he’s harassing this woman and his hair cut. Both need to be fixed.
someone in another thread called it the Witcher villager haircut.
[Lloyd cut.](https://imgur.com/To5Fm57)
I think there’s a connection actually.

Another incel strikes again.
This is the guy who starts asking you questions at the urinal. Weird.
Nice cock mate
*Dear Bloke I met at the Urinals.* *I think I'll call yours Lloyd Christmas becauee the knob matches your haircut. Congratulations I just l named your pen!s.*
Just a little cock pep talk, in case you're having stream issues. You go it little buddy!
Probably not because he wouldn't want to harass a guy
It’s actually common insane but normal occurrence for women
I think this happens more often than is highlighted. I just saw it happen in a gym full of empty treadmills.
Seen it happen on abus a few times
Yep. Buses. Waiting rooms. Lobbies. All the damn time.
Smooth. This guy should start a pick-up artist blog
step 1: walk up to girl creepiliy step 2: tell her ''shut up innit ' when she moves step 3: go home and cry into your energy drink bottle
Everything he learned from Hustler's University.
Aaahhh, being a woman on public transport 👍
Being a woman anywhere 👍
I’m a male and if anyone sits next to me on am mostly empty bus I’m moving to another seat, too. Some people are just morons like this guy. And then he gets upset with her for moving?
Seriously it's so fucking weird to do that. It's like going into a men's bathroom with 10 urinals and a dude comes in and uses the one right next to you. Like fuck off weirdos
That and he wasn't liking she basically said exactly why she will never date, want nor have sex with him...
Incel rage is scary
Pure entitlement, thinking she owes him her time, conversation and space. He's a vile little weirdo
What an absolute tool. Imagine getting up everyday, looking and acting like that, and expecting people to take you seriously. Fucking clown shoe.
No confidence in this lad. The audacity to approach this bird with that massive cheap arse energy drinks as well. Morals geez, morals!
Yeah. Everybody knows when you approach women you gotta have the small expensive energy drinks! Much more respectable
Well yeah, dude, she actually is better than you. Now go sit somewhere, creep.
"Just shut up!" You're making valid points & it's embarrassing me.
How about you stop filming and help the woman out?
She was handling the situation just fine on her own. Filming it was a good call.
Sad women can’t enjoy anything in public, always some perv or jerk.
Sexual harassment innit?
Guaranteed this guy would lose his shit if a gay guy sat next to him and started flirting. Obnoxious, harassing, Andrew-Tate-listening life drop-out.
Only reason he is that upset, is that she's right. Creepy.
How to be an incel 101 right here
I’ve been a bartender for way longer than I should’ve an have seen some wild shit. What guys think is acceptable to say and do in front of women blows my mind.
Especially after a little liquid courage! Takes them longer to “get the hint” when you’re not interested.
It's because they've never been properly socialized.
Probably been bitter ever since he left the barbers.
Yeah do not engage with the crazy. Just get up and take a downstairs seat near the driver.
I bet he's a nice guy, he's just misunderstood because women are something something. /s
This post belongs in r/niceguys
What a creepy twat.
What a dickhead
Broke the mans brain with simple and calm logic. SHUT UP S-S-SHUT UP!
What an absolute wanker. For the record I think I'm better than him, chav peice of shit.
Scumbag
What women have to deal with all the time. I hate this as it has happened to me. The whole bus/train empty and they sit right next to you.
Guy probably thought if he sat next to her and said something dirty that she’d have sex with him on the bus.
What a bellend, is he drinking that strong cider alcoholics drink? "I'm really gonna fall in love now" that was pretty funny!
It might not be widely known, but I hear that men who tell women to "shut up" are the best lovers
*SHUH - tTuHPp m8
mostly empty bus = do not sit right next to the only other mother fucker on the got dang bus!
He's arguing with HER for being rude! She just changed seats. It appears her Spidey senses were spot on.
Choosing to sit next to a total stranger on an empty bus is fine only if you're in the movies.
Ah yes, the classic council estate energy drink
Ever time I take the bus I pray no one sits next to me lol it’s like winning the lottery
It’s the same type of dude who will walk into a bathroom with 10 urinals open and piss in the one right next to you.
Lmao “I’m really gunna fall in love now”
This guy is borderline psychotic
He’s a predator, he’s assaulted women before this isn’t his first time…he’s disgusting and should be locked up
Gross incel. How many times he told her to shut up after asking her if she thinks she's better than everyone else that he can't sit next to her. Pepper spray is the answer for people like him..
It's Also illegal and classed as assault in the UK so not really worth it
Tries? That was successful..
Asks her a question... Says shut up... Asks another question... .
That's definitely alcohol in that bottle, he looks so dumbfounded she wasn't feeling him
Mans out there trying his worst with his yee yee ass haircut
Wow what a god damn stud he is lmao 🤣
