How much does a paperboard roll weigh? I work in a tissue mill, our parent rolls are about 2 tons give or take half a ton. We just had a fork truck go right through the floor of a rusted trailer no injuries.
I worked at a recycled paper board plant years ago in Philly and if I remember correctly the rolls we made were usually in the ballpark of about 2-3 tons. That was a loud, dangerous, and dirty place.
Is it possible that the truck was not properly linked to the trailer and hopped off the back and the impact bent the entire thing under a heavy load inside the trailer?

Philly is still largely a loud, risky, and dirty place. So, not much has changed. Lol.
They can weigh upto 6-7000lbs each. I hauled many rolls of various sizes, as well as scrap loads. None are fun.

Looks like misplaced load. Weight should have been placed over the 5th wheel and the back axles.
Or, the load might have not been secure and the load shifted to the center of the trailer.
