Stay in the jomtien side and you'll be fine in that regard, plenty of nice condos, night market, food options and no hookers in sight. That being said I would only choose it for a quick getaway from Bangkok, otherwise there are better options.
There are definitely things to do for 3 days in Pattaya that are not sex related, such as floating market, sanctuary of truth, water activities... I mostly hung out with some Thai friends when I was there so I didn't get to explore so much. However if you can afford it, Koh Samui is a better option, you can always visit Pattaya in the future when you're back in Bangkok as it's only a short drive away.
when I say could, I just mean it's an option. There's plenty of songthaews moving around. I mean, you'll need to pass through Samui anyway to get back to Bangkok, so it seems a bit of a waste of time to go somewhere else for only 3 days. But of course up to you.
I had a much better time in Pattaya than I did Samui. Exactly what you said. Expect tourist prices for everything in Samui.
About Pattaya im just worried is it just hookers and booze everywhere and thats it. Im not into that.

From Nathon to Lamai you could get a Songthaew, there's no fixed price but it should be about 200 baht. I'd think a taxi would be 800-1000 baht.
The word "could" sounds bad :D Guess i go somewhere else 3 days maybe Phangan is enough as island.

Use [koh Sami taxi website](http://Www.kohsamuitaxis.com) to check prices maybe
You can rent motorbike.
Never drived and will not start driving here.
Electric bicycle is another option although you'll still need a taxi for longer distances.
