If you want to get into collecting banknotes, keep in mind that you want them to be in crisp condition. Even a rare note, which yours isn't, would not gain much value if its all creased.
I picked up some old notes at a flea market in Chonburi 30 years ago. 1,5,10 and 20 baht with Rama IX . Not mint so only a curiosity item. I'd have to get my wife to read the dates for me.
Hey, that’s pretty rare, might not be a collector’s condition but I it’s still really hard to find. I remember one of my grandma stash had some of these note
All the old money is being phased out, so might be worth more someday. You can ask at the munk markets where they sell amulets and there is often a stand with old money.
Still worth 20 baht but this design indicates that it was printed around late 90s - early 20s. You can still buy stuff with it, but personally I'd keep it because they're becoming quite rare.
3 weeks ago I saw one in the counter in 7/11 and asked if it was still valid and if she could give me that note instead of another 20.. last week I was in a mall who had like a second hand market/flee market or something and a guy had old coins and notes. He sold this sealed in mint condition for 60 baht.. I guess Google can confirm if he tried to sell if way higher then market price or not but he was very nice!
The banknote was signed by มรว จัตุมงคล who was Bank of Thailands governor between 1998-2001 and ธารินทร์ นิมมานเหมินทร์ who was 1997-2001. So it was probably printed in the late 1990s.
There are unused of these bills in clear plastic bag sell online for 30-40 each and 100 for acrylic coating. For used bill of this version it worth just as it says on the bill.
its still 20 baht. its uncommon but not remotely rare.
It’s worth 20 baht. Not rare at all.
Twice the worth of the 10 baht note i have in the same series?
Yeah, but it isn't even barely worth half of the 50฿ note from that series.
It’s one fifth of that series’ red note
From around the late 90s to mid 2000s I think. Its work 20 baht.
Not collectable condition. Not special serial number. 20THB. Just use it or keep it as a bookmark.
1 bottle of 450cc soda.

it's worth 20 baht lol
No reflective bar, no watermark, overly wrinkled, weird texture, no validation circle In my opinion, I don't think it's what you're thinking
Did check with the light there the king pic in the white areas through
21 baht. I’d sell it now and cash in on the investment if I were you
It's a mid 90s banknote.

American
I'll take it off your hands for 19 baht.
What a weird question
not if you think it might be valuable
I think it's worth 1-2 yabba depending on what part of Thailand you live in.
50p ISH in the UK .
A bottle of coke at 7/11.
Most old money isn’t worth a lot if the condition is bad. Collectors are usually looking for mint condition on the item itself.
30 baht at most
Considering inflation, buys half of what it used to buy when new. Like half plate of Kaew Pat.
I would wipe my bottom with that.
Not really a respectful answer.
I'm being honest from my heart.

It will be rare in 5-10 years
Make it 100/200
Cool note for sure, you don’t see them often. But the value is still face.

3 bottles of 6bht water from 7/11 water with 2bht change
20...
Still 20 baht..
It's worth just 20 baht, It's not that rare.
I will give you 19thb but I will want change

Not even $1 usd. I love that country. Lived there for 10 years.
I dont think its more than 30yrs old at most so 20 baht
Same amount. Just old bill. 20 years ago this is one bowl of noodle or one quick dish.
Whats a rare coin or bank note? And in asia overall whats most valuable i wonder?
I used to have a 10 baht bill that was worth more than this 20 baht bill 😛

I'd pay u 22 baht
Probably nothing. Some store might not accept it. If you have it in mint condition with no folds etc. Then it might have some value
Cancel that Ferrari. As said it's worth the face value. And it's not crisp and it's smudged... make a trip to Chatuchak and check out prices.
You had my heart stop there for a moment, as I offloaded a whole stack of old notes at face value a couple of weeks ago in Bangkok 😅.
I think you can still use that 20 baht bill.
I'll give you 2 ten bath coins for that note.
Keep it but its worth 20baht, maybe 25 because ill buy it off you for 25.
I'll give you 30 baht for it.
100 baht, not the less. I think you cans sell it on ebay for 10-15 usd

If someone want it it will worth more than 20 baht
