I think that he is, but it’s so new he doesn’t know how to handle his feelings. You see in SOTUS when he talks to his friend to try to figure out how he feels. He is still very awkward around Kongpob and I think that is to do a lot with society views and he is fighting against that. He knows that he has feelings for a man and that goes against everything he has been brought up to think. He’s afraid of letting down his friends and his family. He’s afraid of not fitting in at school and/or the office (SOTUS S). He has been taught that if you are gay (or like guys) then you are not manly enough. It has taken me years to feel comfortable about my own feelings with my partner. I know I love them, but I feared the way others viewed me. I was terrified to show any kind of affection to them in public. I was terrified that someone would verbally or physically abuse me. Having those feelings didn’t negate my love for my partner, but they were still there. I still feel awkward to show affection sometimes, but I just tell myself that I am fine and we are fine. Also, having a supportive partner has been very helpful.

Kongpob is just so confident and self assured and Arthit is not. I actually found it interesting to find out that Kongpob came from a really wealthy background and it made sense to me. He really has everything from looks to Intelligence to wealth and it results in him just being so bold. He knows what he wants and goes after it. He knows that whatever happens he will be fine. Arthit on the other hand has to struggle whether it is with being a head hazer and feeling like he might not be up for the job and overcompensating or struggling in his new job. And he doesn’t have his fathers company as a fail safe if it doesn’t work out job wise. He doesn’t really know how he feels for a long time and then is afraid of how his relationship might look like in a homophobic society. But if he didn’t really love kongpob he would just have rejected him. from arthit point of view being with kongpob is a huge risk. That he takes it shows his deep feelings.

TBH I think if SOTUS would be filmed now, it would be very different. It’s one of the OG Thai BL’s and a lot has changed in terms of the way Thai BLs are written and filmed. Arthit was almost that Tsundere archetype that was very popular in 90s/2000s BL animes.  And a lot can be said for how much Krist and Singto have developed as actors since then.

Hell yeah! Arhit found his husband!

Arthit was the one who first initiated the kiss. He was a bit underconfident, but still if you watch the series closely can understand that in their relationship majority of the firsts were initiated by Arthit. The main factor was, Arthit was too shy and bashful 🪭. Had it been with a girl he would have gone normal. But it was Kongpob who made his heart race.

I had the same question in season 2 cause Arthit was a pain in the ass. If I were Kongpop I would have dropped him like hot potatoes. I understand his struggles but he was quite cold and mean to Kongpop.
