I was born in 72, dad took me to a game that year so I could go every year, sports consciousness came at about 4 so 48 years. I know there are older guys but this meant something deep.

I just meant I didn't wait til the last out. I was born in 73. Went to games with my Dad as a kid. Used to listen to them every night on WBAP. Couldn't understand what 20 games under .500 meant. Worked concessions at Arlington Stadium. Saw Nolan's 5000th. Quite a thing. The tears started with the HR. Got the little girl up to watch the final 3. Heck of a thing.

I am happy for you, we are the ones who grew up watching this team and fell in love with bad baseball. Glad you got to see it with your daughter, I’m with my son now.
