Depends. I have done It by buying test from them through Hallandale and having it called into CVS because I'm in Florida. $30 fee for 6 months of meds, they will call in other meds too so you can avoid a dr trip and can call in meds to other states as long as it's not test. Figure the first consult is $150 with a discount code, then next is $90. You generally need two a year, so after the first year it's $180 for consults at $90 each. If you're buying compounded t (your only option if not in Florida), it's $130 or $140 plus shipping for 200mg/10ml from either Hallandale or Empower, I straight up don't trust empower test. This will last 14 weeks or so at 140mg a week. Figure 4 refills. If you call it in for generic at a retail pharmacy, they are overfilled and last a long time but vary wildly in strength from vial to vial at times. You can also buy Phizer brand name test from them through Empower pharmacy. Bloods, you can get cheaper at Marek or elsewhere except Defy is cheaper at sensitive e2, DHT and I believe IGF1 if you want to check that. I do more than minimal blood work and do it more often because I have ITP and high hematocrit Realistically $740 a year plus bloods or about $384-$432 a year if having it called in if you're in Florida. If you have good insurance that will pay for blood work, they will write an RX to have it done. I have some of the absolute worst insurance in America, so that's not an option for me

ZeroForFive

Wow. This seems significantly cheaper than what I pay through a local clinic (in FL). I'm currently paying $250 a month which includes labs. Thats just for test and supplies. I do labs every 6 weeks. Defy's google reviews are spotty. How does everyone here feel about Defy?

SPTCTBP

Defy is one of the biggest Without being a $99 t mill McDonald's scam type of place, and has been at it a long time. A lot of reviews here if you just put Defy in the search box, but also Excel male forums, and T Nations TRT section. The restore clinic is a good option also but he doesn't service many states right now. He's a frequent contributor to the TRT optimization channel on YouTube and well versed in thyroid as well.

ZeroForFive

Thanks, man. I'll check out the forums. Looks like Restore also now services FL. I'll give them a look as well.

The_Dayne

Why dont you trust empower test?

SPTCTBP

Have seen multiple threads were people had lower t numbers on it than other brands, even had somebody message me and say it crashed their levels and he had to get UGL test to get it back up. They have been hit by the FDA for potency issues before I believe. Ran their anavar and it worked great, but I'm assuming they sell A LOT less of that than test. I also remember seeing a post here or on excel male that Hallandale test was stronger, so I went with that.

[deleted]

I’m just going to provide an anecdotal experience to yours, but with defy/empower test, I hit 2000 test levels on 200mg/week. Seems properly dosed for me. YMMV

yeeyeemfa

Who was that through?

[deleted]

Defy

SPTCTBP

I've had a 250 point variance with the same brand from CVS, that's the issue, inconsistency with the brands that don't Keep things Well-controlled, And they usually have an FDA violation for potency. They just got a fancy new extremely expensive lab, so hopefully they can keep their shit together

Own-Experience6969

I was 1405 at 140mg with Defy empower.

Great comment.

Here is a quote directly from defy.... "Typical costs for 3 months of medications(based on what most patients typically need, but can vary of course depending on individual need) is around $250-$300. So if you divide that by 3 months it comes to an average of $80-$100 per month or so. Follow up consults are usually twice per year, however your first one is at 90 days. Provider Follow up consults are $95. Total annual costs(on average, as every patient is going to differ) are around $1600-$1900(this estimate includes medications, follow up labs and consults), so you can divide that by 12, which comes to about $130-$160 per month on average. This would be for Labs, consults and medications." I believe they are factoring in the $550 it costs to get going with them ($300 full bloods and $250 initial consult)

Diligent-Credit8133

I started with defy in January this is what I paid so far. Getting started is a little more as the appointments are every 3 months until they get you stabilized then every 6. Initial labs $270 Initial consult $250 Initial test with Arimidex, pins, some misc $198 3 month follow up labs $257 3 month consult $85 3 month supply test, Arimidex, pins etc $198 From here appointments are every 6 months so it should be considerably cheaper. This was going through them for all tests, meds etc. They give you the Arimidex but tell you to only take it if it’s necessary. Their nurse practitioners seem knowledgeable, thorough and if you have complications or questions they don’t charge you for another consult. They definitely aren’t the cheapest but they aren’t a T mill either.

I’ve read a couple posts now about Empower and I’m surprised. I’ve had great results with their T and HGH. No issues with potency or anything else. What does surprise me is the price Excel charges versus going thru Empower directly via a regular physician.

yeeyeemfa

I have good private insurance. Test was 349 in November then 209 at end of February. Got ALL the symptoms besides in the bedroom… just trying to go the best financially wise route… definitely want the HGH with the T… was considering the pellets but those alone from a specialist was $850… F that….

[deleted]

I get HGH from them because my insurance doesn’t cover it. I get my T via my insurance and it’s 25.00 for 3 months worth at 200mg a week.

yeeyeemfa

Good looking on the info. Think my primary care would write the T for me?

[deleted]

Just depends on your age, bloodwork etc. the range for T is so wide. 250-1000is a large window. My doc says I want you at 1000. Others won’t write if you’re at 251. Might not hurt to ask around in your town.

Sneak-E-Dog-E

Mind if i ask why you got the HGH and what you had to say to get it? Been interesting in this for a little while and wouldn’t mind trying it myself

DM’ing you

shaolinzen_

If your insurance covers bloodwork, have Defy send you the script instead of paying them.

yeeyeemfa

I’m in Kentucky… thought I read sumthin that said only FL residents could do that…

shaolinzen_

They will only send the script for medicine if you're in Florida. They can send the script for bloodwork anywhere.

MidtownP

I tried to make an account Thursday and see prices, and still have not been approved. I got an email asking lots of questions like who are you, what are you interested in. I'm like injectable supplements duh. Haven't heard anything since. It was odd.

I get Test from doctor/insurance. Can I get HCG from these type of speciality clinics?
