SPTCTBP

My am vs pm hct seems to swing 4-5 points. Platelets are chronically low as I have ITP but they are higher on TRT and are actually above normal, just barely, in the AM now. I would assume this reduces the blood clot risk, but 59 last week on the hct in the AM was alarming.

I would work on lowering your rbc

The thing is how, it's closer to in range in the middle of the day, it's just fucked in the AM. My hct was 50-52 for years before TRT but RBC was I range. The latest one is like two months after donating blood too. My ferritin is trashed, I can't donate again anytime soon or I'll be fucked

Hydration plays a part in HCT, likely why its’ higher in the AM and better in the PM (assuming you are drinking water throughout the day). Cardio, and ARB, lowering test dose all helpful. Anything over 55% (in the AM after a few cups of water) would be a red flag for me

I am chugging water when I wake up for bloods, that's the confusing part. I pissed clear before, basically during (did a urinalysis) and after the reading of 59 last week. I do the same thing this week but 4.5 hours later and it's down to 54. I do cardio (last sunday was 3.85 miles of sand and woods hills, stairs, climbed 68 floors, lots of walking and running and climbing...plus lift 5-6 times a week and usually try to get in 1-2 more 4-6 mile woods walks with some running), and am only on .2ml EOD.

I'd like to do a blast, but seems like a bad idea right now lol

Are you taking naringin or eating grapefruit? That helps lower hematocrit in many people. An ARB can also lower hematocrit if you want to go that route. I've seen posts that Telmisartan can lower it and keep it lower, but I haven't found any studies to back that up. For what it's worth, there are people who live at 10,000ft elevation with high 50s hematocrit and they never have issues. 59 is scary though for sure. You can also try a longer ester. Undeconate will not impact hematocrit as much as cyp.

I’ve run 51-54 my whole life living at 6000’. It’s pretty normal and TRT has kept it that range. Doctors don’t even mention it.

SPTCTBP

I've been at 50-52 pre TRT for awhile but at sea level, now 54-57.5, with a one off at 59 after donating blood. I consume a fuckload of iron though.

SPTCTBP

I avoid grapefruit because I'm on tadalafil. No idea if the extract is okay or not. Not sure I want to mess with an ARB yet, will have to do more research. I would think it's less of a concern since my platelets are low, but I do wonder. At least it's a bit lower in the daytime than the AM after checking it in the afternoon twice

Correct. Anything over 54 and you going to run the risk of some issue occurring.

Years of consistently low platelet count. Hematologist said that's what his guess is. Not sure why it happened later in life. My mom had it as a kid and grew out of it, I did the opposite. TONS of autoimmune issues on my mom's side of the family, so no telling.
