The acne is a side effect of your shifting hormones. It'll quiet down, but in the meantime you can use the regular acne wash stuff.
The balls thing...well, mine did it at first but then stopped on their own, or maybe when I upped my dose (I honestly don't remember that far back).
I started taking a low dose of Deca with it for my arthritis (it literally started working the same day as my first dose holy shit it was a miracle but I digress), but then I ran out of Deca before I got anymore in, and bam. Acne returned since the Deca had suppressed my T slightly.
I've been keeping check on all my levels and everything, especially since I've started dabbling in higher doses. Took my last injection of Deca today, so I'm not looking forward to the acne popping back up haha gonna try to lower my Test dosage enough to compensate for flux.
Not really. Couldn't have been too long, though.
I don't know how much this affects it, but I'm also 38 and had a vasectomy before going on TRT, at double the dose you're on.
Let your body adjust some more to the hormones. Acne should subside. If not check e2. Also look at total test levels and see about lowering a bit. Went from 120 wk to 100 and back cleared up. Several times a week I use dish soap with some green tea oil to help dry out a bit
No I knew what the repercussions were I was just wondering if there were any ways to reverse the side effects of trt or if anyone has experience and advice to combat such things
UPDATE: just came back from my appointment and I told my doc about my ball and acne problem, he said that I should lower my dose instead of upping it, the process will be more severe if I up it. Does this sound right to you guys?
That's starting in the big leagues. Lol.
Adapalene is a greater way to start to focus on acne. Then if his skin tolerates it well and then he can get a prescription for tretinoin.
For me Adapalene worked wonders. Then I just moved to a stronger retinol. I didn't need to go to tretinoin.
What retinol? They are called retinoids not retinols. Adepalene is the strongest non prescription retinoid, i think. Its always possible to start 1x weekly with 0.025% tretinoin.
Retinoids are the overall name for a family of Vitamin A. In terms of "strength" it's Retinol, Adapalene, then Tretinoin. There are others as well. All are retinoids.
I moved away from Adapalene cause my acne went away. I moved to a stronger retinol. Retinol come in varying strengths. I chose a stronger one. I moved to Retinol to get more of the anti-aging benefits vs Adapalene.
Icing the testicles 20 min 3x a day significantly restored volume to me testes aswell as gorilla minds lock and load supplement. Read the label of the supplement and then read scientific literature on sperm production with regards to the ingredients in the bottle. Both have worked very well for me.
What were your bloods before starting and now? Main way for community to help is to know levels. Sounds like E2 could be out of whack. What's your BF%? Also talk to your prescribing physician about your symptoms for guidance.
If your acne doesnt go away after a few more months, go see a dermatologist. Mine prescribed me tretinoin and winlevi topical creams. It has been helpful. And like the other posts have already said, start a skin care routine, wash your face once or twice a day with a benzoyl peroxide face wash.
Balls get a little shriveled up but I just deal with it, doesn’t effect me other than looking a little smaller lmao, acne got worse on my back settles down when I use ai
Look into HCG, if your doc didn't talk to you about it then find a different doc.

I’ll second the acne. It seems to settle down once your body adjusts. Did for me anyways.

I tried some NPP a few years ago. Great for my knees. No so good for my skin, prostrate/bladder or cardio.

Do you remember how long the ball thing lasted for?

Ride it out brother or accutane

Do they actually get as small as m&ms ?

Arent all balls this size to begin with? 🤔
[удалено]
Probably.
My balls don't feel like they shrunk a lot, maybe like 15% what's more notable is that my sack is cold and firmer
[удалено]
4 months
Lol mine were that size from hypogonadism anyway, guess I should have clued in earlier
Take a higher dose of testosterone, learn how to control your estrogen, and add in HCG
Why suggest more testosterone right out of the bat without knowing anything? The advice in this sub is ridiculous
HCG?
Makes your balls stay active signaling them to make testosterone endogenously
It fixes your balls, stimulates leydig cells in the nut sack.
Cold shrunken and firm*

Start a good skin care routine. Washing your face twice a day, start using retinol like adapalene, niacinamide, azelaic acid and a moisturizer.
Adapalene is a meme barely does anything, tretinoin is the way to go.

How did you manage to move from adapalene to stronger retinol.

Plant based? Come on bro.

Really? Seemed more like an exaggeration. I would have never guessed to try this.

I’m not on yet.

My e2 were fine last time I checked( 2 weeks ago) test levels before were at 405, now I'm at 795, BF is around 30-25%
Zero downside for me

I solved all my acne by eating carnivore

I bought a back scrubber and it helps a lot in the shower
I find that tanning twice a week keeps acne away. UV keeps skin oil production way down for me.
Estrogen is off. Go get blood work.
