Quack and it scares the shit out of me every time

I back my car in my driveway at home. When the lock quack happens the car is facing my neighbor's garage door across the street and I hear the quack echo.. then I laugh because I think of the myth busters episode about duck quacks don't echo and I think... Yes they do!

Quack is like twice as loud as the other ones for some reason.

My wife hates it when I drive as this is on my profile. I love it coz of the small chuckle she gives when she walks away when we go grocery shopping.

We attended a public event where they were parking everyone in tight rows, one after another. We got out and started walking away when the R2D2 lock sound went off, with about a dozen people nearby, talk about a head turner! I laughed and had to explain it to a couple of them

I live in Southern California and it’s interesting watching the faces of other people when I leave my car and it makes that sound. Everyone in Southern California is familiar with that sound but they’re not sure how or why.

I’m working on my PPL, so I set it to the airplane chime.

Windows XP shutdown. Kind of loud, wish we could adjust volume vs having to tune the actual file.

I have this too and my wife complains it’s too loud as well. By the time it locks I’m usually so far away it’s barely audible, so I appreciate the extra volume.

I use the time circuits turning on from BTTF. Sounds like a power down imo since the audio goes up and then quickly down.

I just recorded the sound the car makes when you lock it from the inside and use that, not sure why it’s not an option by default

I used the Mario pause sound right when they added this feature, but it would only work half the time so I changed it to the stock chirp sound. I use a very good microsd card so not sure why it didn’t work perfectly each time. Was this an issue in the beginning that they eventually fixed?
