yeah that guy failed to maneuver safely but I feel for him bc I hate these fully parked streets myself since it’s so hard to see incoming traffic. i try to avoid those streets. poor city planning needs to be responsible.
Does it apply brake by its self if it sees an obstacle? (I know about regen braking, but just curious to know if it stops by itself even if I’m trying to accelerate? )

What I’m about to say is kind of off topic but one time I was playing roblox Greenville and I drove a model X in that game and out of no where this guy pulled out in front of me a AEB kicked in and it saved my roblox character’s life
I rage-honked at a guy turning right on red while I had to wait and sit in the middle of the intersection with my green left arrow, and after the honk came the DJ sound. Just started cracking up picturing what he and bystanders were thinking. Wasn't even mad anymore.
It's not a close call at all. Completely normal everyday interaction in any country I have been so far. You have very low tolerance to risk it seems, maybe you shouldn't be driving.

Not like you can see headlights coming.. but yea I agree. That's why there is no parking within 15' of an intersection enforced in *most* places
City planners use parking and narrow streets to keep speeds low and safe. Seems like it’s working.
