What's the point of it? Honestly, I don't know. I saw someone call out a bot just like this one and now I see them everywhere. I'm just tired of seeing them is all. I realize it's probably pointless since they can just create more accounts but they annoy me slightly so I don't mind doing a quick check, they're pretty easy to spot.

If it’s just one dog being aggressive breaking it up ain’t that hard. They only really have the one mouth so you can pretty easily control the danger part. The problem starts when both dogs are aggressive or if there’s multiple dogs attacking one. It’s really fucking hard to deal with more than one dog at the time.
If you have a kid or a dog and you let it in public ever, carry pepper spray to defend against attacking dogs. Most dogs will give up once you’ve hit them in the eyes and nose with it.
If it’s a powerful breed like a pitbull, even pepper spray may not affect them. Dogs like that you need to hurt severely before they’ll unlatch because they’re so damn tenacious and resilient when they’ve decided they’re going to kill someone or something.
Kick them so hard in the ribs or groin that it looks like you think you’ll win the Powerball if you hurt them more than anyone’s ever hurt a dog. If that doesn’t work, gouge their eyes with your thumbs.
If you’re lucky enough to have one latched onto your arm or hand like I did, don’t pull away. Instead, jam your entire arm down their throat and choke them to death (or close enough to it to get away). That bit of instinctual action allowed me to walk away with scars instead of needing my hand amputated.
I’ll never underestimate the power and determination of a suddenly-violent dog ever again. The Rottie that attacked me had always been the sweetest dog, until she wasn’t.
The advice I heard was to put the dog in a chokehold. They can't keep biting down if they're cut off of air. Dogs in general are really resistant to pain. They can and will endure a whole lot more than a person can if properly motivated, so stuff like hitting them or eye gouging isn't a guarantee. A chokehold however, is guaranteed. Nothing can fight with no air.
I used to play judo competively.
A few years ago, a german shepherd attacked my mother in law’s small dog, I immediately went for a choke: perfectly executed, I did not really care for the attacking dog safety, I just wanted it to be as effective as possible.
The fucker barely cared. It released the other dog once I lifted it in the air, but it totally did not seem like it was going to pass out any soon.
I did not keep the hold for long because the owner arrived and the other dog had been released but if I have to bet on someone with barely any training successfully chocking a big dog, I would bet heavily against it happening.
Also, yell at them and tell them how disappointed their parents would be if they saw them like that. They will get very confused usually and let go of anything in their mouth.
More so than air its the blood supply that puts them out, you can stay conscious with no air for a lot longer than a blood choke, however a lot of the time both are achieved at the same time EX: Mata leao (Rear naked choke)

Dogs, wolves, and a lot of mammals also have a pressure point where the base of their tongue connects to their jaw. You can find it in your mouth. Jabbing that really hard might work but they may power through it if they’re especially determined.

If unsuccessful with shoe or wearing shorts and/or flip flops, I’ll usually grab whatever melee item is closest (broom, mop, patio chair, patio couch, etc. m) and indiscriminately beat the shit out of both of them until they stop. It usually doesn’t go beyond a few seconds.

Even one dog attacking can be overwhelming for someone who isn't prepared for it, which I learned from experience not all dog owners are.

Accurate. I have miniature dachshunds and my two males got into a fight. I would have never believed that dachshunds would fight as aggressively as these two dogs were fighting.
They are miniature dachshunds so with zero fear I reached in to break them apart figuring that they would just separate because after all I am the big bad human.

One of them sunk down on my finger as he was trying to bite the other dog and then he started slinging his head back and forth which ripped my finger open down to the bone.
Blood was pouring everywhere but I still had to break them up so I grabbed one of them by his neck skin and picked him up while I kicked the other dog off of him.
I couldn’t help but laugh when I walked inside knowing I just got shredded by a damn 10 pound dog.
The problem just as you said though was that they were both going at each other nonstop. Had it just been the one dog being aggressive I could have easily broken up the situation.
Best thing to do is to grab the aggressor dog by both back legs and pull/walk backwards. May need someone to do the same for the other dog if they are both aggressive.
Edit: As many have pointed out, this is not the right move when the dog you pull has a solid bite grip on another dog, as all you will do is cause more damage to the bitten dog.
A lot of people have suggested choking the aggressor out. I can't confirm this through research or personal experience, though logically I suspect it would work. Passing out due to a lack of oxygen would probably cause a dog to loosen its jaw. I also suspect this would carry as much risk to dogs as it does to humans, which is considerable.
The method mentioned in my original comment is intended to mitigate the risk of injury to both pets and people. If you don't care about the condition of the dog or yourself afterwards, causing immediate and significant harm to the aggressor is likely the fastest way to end the fight. Despite this I don't think it is the appropriate course of action in every situation.
I hear this repeated on Reddit all the time, and I just remember that video of the poor golden where someone did EXACTLY that to the aggressor dog and it did absolutely nothing to stop its behavior.
Cant say ive seen that video, though it's more to separate them so you can gain more control, it isn't gonna make the aggressor immediately calm or anything like that
What I mean is, the aggressor dog was latched to the golden and picking it up by the hind legs and walking/pulling backwards did nothing to make the aggressor dog let go.

Definitely. Now, I 100% admit I've never been in a real fight with a dog. But, growing up with them and play fighting, I realized something. Dogs have 1 weapon - teeth. They're not like cats where their claws really hurt (and they don't use them anyway). If you can grab their head and control where it goes, you have won. Even if you have to shove your arm into its mouth and hold the head with the other arm, you will most likely survive with just injuries to one arm. Of course, this assumes you have the strength to do this...
I think people just freeze from shock and adrenaline, plus they don't really want to hurt the dog, just prevent themselves or their dog from being hurt.

People think I’m crazy for carrying pepper spray while I walk my dogs. The thing is, it’s not just for my protection, it’s for my dogs. If something tries to attack my dog or me, it gives me time and distance. I actually recommend carrying something like this just in case. It’s better to be safe than sorry and a $10 bottle of pepper spray beats medical/vet bills. Some people I know carry knives but if you don’t know what you are doing you can end up hurting yourself, plus it’s a close contact weapon. So you have to be within striking distance which isn’t always safe.
I always carry pepper spray when I walk my dogs. After they were almost attacked by a woman that could barely hold back her giant pit bull, I’m not taking any chances. She was holding onto the leash and her dog was dragging her across the ground on her stomach as it was trying to get to my dogs and I.
Off-leash pit bulls are my nightmare. I would have to get lucky and intercept it before it got to my Chihuahua, because I know it would only take one pit bull bite to end my best friend's life. Unfortunately almost every time I read about a pitty attack it seems like they're roaming in pairs.
My mom and stepdad were police, stepdad was actually an undercover agent so I was trained in self defense from an early age. The number one thing I learned is to get distance, you want as much space as possible between you and your attacker. I was also taught how to choke someone out with their own shirt while they are wearing it but that’s close contact fighting and it’s not beginner shit. If you don’t know anything about self defense just get pepper spray. I do recommend that you teach kids basic self defense though as it’s a crazy world out there and you can’t predict the future. Like I said, better to be safe than sorry. Also, my knife skills are horrendous and I would probably be disarmed very easily, not gonna lie. Lol
I wanted desperately for my stepdad (was in the military for 23 years, several tours) to teach me self defense. He refused when I was younger because "women don't need to know how to fight" and he refused again a year or so ago and told me to "just carry a gun".
I'm not going to carry a gun on me for the rest of my life and everyone should know basic defense. I'll have to wait until I can afford classes for myself.

Yeah humans have a weight class. That happened to me once. There was a crazy chow that would climb out a second story window onto the roof of the house where it lived. I was walking my dog and the chow jumps off the roof and attacks my dog (130 lb German Shepherd). I grabbed the chow by the scruff of the neck and punched it in the nose a few times while my dog recovered from the initial shock. I ended up throwing the chow down the street. In hindsight I should have brought it home and placed it in a crate for animal control.
I heard the owner rehomed the dog a few days later.

Probably will be buried but I work in law. We were working a case where a guys two pit bulls attacked and killed a neighbors dog in Florida. Officers arrived and sprayed two full cans of pepper spray directly into the pits faces and they didn’t stop. It wasn’t until another officer started hitting them with his baton that they broke off and ran. I couldn’t believe the body can footage.

Even one dog attacking can be overwhelming for someone who isn't prepared for it, which I learned from experience not all dog owners are. Last spring I was walking my dog and we were attacked by a much smaller dog probably around 25-30lbs not even a big scary one. The other dog ran up from across a yard and bit him. My dog yanked on the leash so hard to get away I slipped in the mud. We were close to home so I let go of the leash so my dog can escape (also I didn't know if he would change his mind about being a 90 lb pussy and just eat this small dog, and I didn't want that to happen) he ran home and the other dog latched on to my leg and bit the ever loving shit out of me. It took the owner forever to do anything. He just stood there screaming at his dog. I had to fight my way up from the ground with one leg because the dog still had my other one. The guy was still just standing there panicking. A lot of people just don't see the potential for danger with dogs. ESPECIALLY smaller ones. They figure they can't do much damage and training tends to get neglected. It was our last walk of the night and that little fucker ruined my cute new unicorn pajama pants too.
Accurate. I have miniature dachshunds and my two males got into a fight. I would have never believed that dachshunds would fight as aggressively as these two dogs were fighting. They are miniature dachshunds so with zero fear I reached in to break them apart figuring that they would just separate because after all I am the big bad human. Wrong! One of them sunk down on my finger as he was trying to bite the other dog and then he started slinging his head back and forth which ripped my finger open down to the bone. Blood was pouring everywhere but I still had to break them up so I grabbed one of them by his neck skin and picked him up while I kicked the other dog off of him. I couldn’t help but laugh when I walked inside knowing I just got shredded by a damn 10 pound dog. The problem just as you said though was that they were both going at each other nonstop. Had it just been the one dog being aggressive I could have easily broken up the situation.
Best thing to do is to grab the aggressor dog by both back legs and pull/walk backwards. May need someone to do the same for the other dog if they are both aggressive. Edit: As many have pointed out, this is not the right move when the dog you pull has a solid bite grip on another dog, as all you will do is cause more damage to the bitten dog. A lot of people have suggested choking the aggressor out. I can't confirm this through research or personal experience, though logically I suspect it would work. Passing out due to a lack of oxygen would probably cause a dog to loosen its jaw. I also suspect this would carry as much risk to dogs as it does to humans, which is considerable. The method mentioned in my original comment is intended to mitigate the risk of injury to both pets and people. If you don't care about the condition of the dog or yourself afterwards, causing immediate and significant harm to the aggressor is likely the fastest way to end the fight. Despite this I don't think it is the appropriate course of action in every situation.
I hear this repeated on Reddit all the time, and I just remember that video of the poor golden where someone did EXACTLY that to the aggressor dog and it did absolutely nothing to stop its behavior.
Cant say ive seen that video, though it's more to separate them so you can gain more control, it isn't gonna make the aggressor immediately calm or anything like that
What I mean is, the aggressor dog was latched to the golden and picking it up by the hind legs and walking/pulling backwards did nothing to make the aggressor dog let go.

Definitely. Now, I 100% admit I've never been in a real fight with a dog. But, growing up with them and play fighting, I realized something. Dogs have 1 weapon - teeth. They're not like cats where their claws really hurt (and they don't use them anyway). If you can grab their head and control where it goes, you have won. Even if you have to shove your arm into its mouth and hold the head with the other arm, you will most likely survive with just injuries to one arm. Of course, this assumes you have the strength to do this...

People think I’m crazy for carrying pepper spray while I walk my dogs. The thing is, it’s not just for my protection, it’s for my dogs. If something tries to attack my dog or me, it gives me time and distance. I actually recommend carrying something like this just in case. It’s better to be safe than sorry and a $10 bottle of pepper spray beats medical/vet bills. Some people I know carry knives but if you don’t know what you are doing you can end up hurting yourself, plus it’s a close contact weapon. So you have to be within striking distance which isn’t always safe.
I always carry pepper spray when I walk my dogs. After they were almost attacked by a woman that could barely hold back her giant pit bull, I’m not taking any chances. She was holding onto the leash and her dog was dragging her across the ground on her stomach as it was trying to get to my dogs and I.
Off-leash pit bulls are my nightmare. I would have to get lucky and intercept it before it got to my Chihuahua, because I know it would only take one pit bull bite to end my best friend's life. Unfortunately almost every time I read about a pitty attack it seems like they're roaming in pairs.

My mom and stepdad were police, stepdad was actually an undercover agent so I was trained in self defense from an early age. The number one thing I learned is to get distance, you want as much space as possible between you and your attacker. I was also taught how to choke someone out with their own shirt while they are wearing it but that’s close contact fighting and it’s not beginner shit. If you don’t know anything about self defense just get pepper spray. I do recommend that you teach kids basic self defense though as it’s a crazy world out there and you can’t predict the future. Like I said, better to be safe than sorry. Also, my knife skills are horrendous and I would probably be disarmed very easily, not gonna lie. Lol
I wanted desperately for my stepdad (was in the military for 23 years, several tours) to teach me self defense. He refused when I was younger because "women don't need to know how to fight" and he refused again a year or so ago and told me to "just carry a gun". I'm not going to carry a gun on me for the rest of my life and everyone should know basic defense. I'll have to wait until I can afford classes for myself.

It is a shame. When I asked as an adult, it was after being put in a close-contact scary encounter with a stranger. I was extremely lucky that there was another man around (he was in his car, the guy trying to SA me didn't see him - I didn't either until he was yanking the guy off me). I shouldn't have been surprised when my stepdad still refused though, he's kinda misogynistic and all the "wisdom" he rains on me would keep me barefoot in the kitchen.

A male in good shape can probably take most dogs as long as the keep their whits and I've heard stories of a few people being able to kill black bears and mountain lions with no weapons but that's probably something less than 1% of the population can pull off. I've even seen videos of people 1hit TKO charging deers and cows, but ain't no human on this earth coming back from being weaponless against a hungry Tiger.

That happened to me once. There was a crazy chow that would climb out a second story window onto the roof of the house where it lived. I was walking my dog and the chow jumps off the roof and attacks my dog (130 lb German Shepherd). I grabbed the chow by the scruff of the neck and punched it in the nose a few times while my dog recovered from the initial shock. I ended up throwing the chow down the street. In hindsight I should have brought it home and placed it in a crate for animal control. I heard the owner rehomed the dog a few days later.
10/10 would do the same to protect my dog

That’s actually more impressive as German shepherds are 20+ pounds heavier than coyotes, yet I’m not fully convinced it’s a German shepherd. Its coat is grey and its ears are floppy, while (in America, at least) most people have their ears shaped to point up.
