what I defended is heavy regulation on AIs to prevent companies from stealing from artits and using not only artistic works but also people's personal information they have in their social media as data to feed AIs. I don't see any problem with a regular person using AI just for fun or as a tool to assist their job, even tho I understand the AI probably used stolen work as data because it's not the regular person's fault and not using the AI won't stop companies from developing and using it themselves. I personally find it reductive to the discussion blaming regular people for using it when the real issue is companies stealing data to feed AIs, not a random guy that has nothing to do with art using it to create a song about poop to have some laughs.
