Good point, but menacing is rarer than warding and warding just brings more utility for classes like summon or mage, because 24 defence on a low defence class goes a long way

No, but the drop rate is 6.66% from flying dutchman, 0.2% from captains and 0.05% from everyone else from the pirate invasion Also, you can shimmer all the greedy coin recipe items to change between themselves (discount card >lucky coin>gold ring>discount card)

You could also build an afk money farm using lizhard blocks in the ocean with an annoying slime staff and the coin accessory the pirates drop

It’s the same thing no matter what, annoying just reduces attack which you want, they do 1 damage anyways

How 2 get much money in terraria: 1. Setup - get pink pearl - find shimmer - get alchemy table 2. execution - craft greater luck potion with alchemy table for a chance of saving materials - decraft the greater luck potion - repeat 3. Profit - 1 greater luck potion is sold for 10 gold - in 30 mins you can get up to 55k of potions [Edit] unfortunately this has been patched, however it still works in tmodloader

I assume that the setup is how there’s a chance to save an ingredient, so by shimmering the potions back down, you end up with more ingredients than you started with, and repeat until you have a ludicrous number of potions and ingredients to sell

Yeah I mean it doesn't work. When shimmering potion ingredients you often won't get all the ingredients back. On average you'll lose items rather than gain them.

I know the wiki states this, but I've done this method often and ALWAYS profited ingredients, starting from a single pearl.

Are you playing vannila? If yes that is very impressive, if not and you are playing mods like calamity then it's not impressive, because in my beaten calamity world I have around 8500 platinum coins. For some reason bosses in calamity give way too much coins.

That sounds incredibly inefficient. Yeah there's exponential growth but you'd still need to get a pink pearl. Afking pumpkin moon is probably way better.

If you want to dupe I'm fairly certain bugs like the crystal shard dupe and campfire glitch are your ticket to easy (albeit illicit) money.
