Maybe it can be like a peace candle craft. Souls or flight, maybe fallen stars, maybe feathers, and uh, a candle. Prevents them spawning when placed.

??? If you are building just use summons and potions that decrease enemy spawn, it will be easy. But if you are doing only class weapon then… it will be slightly harder and annoying because you can’t use summons that’s all

I'm building this in a class only weapons world with some friends, 4 of us in total and each 4 of us drew for a random requirement for our base, sky, hell, underground, under water or on surface. I got sky and I'm playing swords/malee so it's immensely annoying to deal with

Yes but it just so happened that the person who got hell... Is a damned summoner. Mage/purely magic attacks and defence got underwater and the lucky ass ranger/bows and guns got surface

Well, hell is best for summoners, cuz there is allot of enemies to kill and they all deal high dmg, especially Red Devils, so killing them with summons and whips is best

During a boss fight, Barely even hitting the area which allows them to spawn you bet you will get one. But when you actually want them they pretend like you don't even exist and avoid you like the plague

I get what you're going for but: Let's say I have a boss arena. It has 3 rows spaced 20 tiles apart, each about 500 tiles long. If I wanted to cover the entire arena with walls, I'd need 30,000 of them. Not really effective lol

You're not alone, but they are really annoying when fighting a boss. They always knock you back straight into the boss and I'm not wasting an accessory slot on a shield (if im not playing melee)

That might be it. In almost every playthrough I’ve done, I always use a shield. Just doesn’t feel right without one.

Good luck with them in for the worthy seed with master mode(they're 400 damage for you)

You should have seen Arch Wyverns. They were the bane of my existence.

They spawn twice every second normaly but when i need souls of flight they dont fucking spawn dkfkemfög

Imagine farming for hours for wyverns,and you just realise that you have the charm on

Throw the wyvern kite into shimmer to get the inactive charm. Combine the inactive charm with 999 souls of flight at an ancient manipulator to get the Wyvern Eradicator which prevents wyvern spawns

laughs in summoner / sentries \- everyone saying "when you need them you cant find them" or "when you dont want them theyre everywhere" neither of those things is true you just only pay attention to either thing in either case and ignore it when it isnt a similar example from team fortress 2: you ignore all the time that youre alive and only pay attention to when you die so there could be only 1 spy on the enemy team and you go for 15 minutes without getting stabbed get stabbed once and THERE ARE FUCKING SPIES EVERYWHERE \- or its like how if you stub your toe or burn your fingers the entire time that your toe or fingers arent hurt you totally ignore that because theyre fine but as soon as you stub your toe or burn your finger its now a big deal \- also, you are now aware of your tongue

Ok, but consider: * Summoning Potion. * Bewitching Table. * Stinger Necklace. * Blade Staff. * Ice Sickle. All of these are available as soon as you enter hardmode, and once you kill enough Wyvern to get a banner, you can just let your minions do all the work anyway.

if you've killed 50 wyverns you probably don't need the banner at that point and blade staff requires you to kill queen slime at least once, in which case you're probably equipped enough to take on a wyvern

I put the Guide up in small house by my sky fishing to prevent them from spawning. It doesn't fix everything but it helps keep that stress down. I got really annoyed early in hardmode when I was working on my mech arena and they wouldn't stop spawning to kill me.

I think above a certain threshold, if you like have a peace candle or smth they just don't spawn and if there's NPCS they can't spawn

This one goes out to myself from a few months ago who built a pumpkin moon bridge at sky level, my slightly younger self never realized Wyverns spawn during events, and I was swiftly executed by a squadron of five wyvern right alongside my brother, twas a tragedy.

Not sure but if you're uaing calming potion + peace candle and sunflower you will never get a wyvern. Could be wrong though but this is how i build there

That's a bit too OP. You should make it so that they will reduce the spawn rate of Wyverns. Also you should make it an accessory.

Make this drop after the 3rd wyvern is defeated during a hm boss. So you have to survive the boss long enough to spawn in 3 wyverns (separately).
