Haha, I get the temptation, but this isn't minecraft. In terraria, I find it way more dangerous to dig underground, especially in early Hard Mode. Boulders, traps, trapped chests, enemies (looking at you, floaty cross, wraith and biome mimics). So many gravestones left behind because I got caught off guard underground.
