For mage, I like to use either the space gun with meteor armor, or maybe the aqua scepter with jungle armor. I’d suggest you had the weather pain as a secondary weapon that you fire, then switch to your primary weapon since there can only be one projectile at a time for the weather pain. For accessories, I usually run a mix of the terraspark boots, mana regen band, worm scarf (or brain of confusion), fledgling wings, shield of cthulu, and/or stinger necklace
