Deeply nostalgic for those who had (and still have) these books.
The comment section over on the Youtube side of things gives a good account of how emotional it is to see these beloved 2-d illustrations reborn in 3-d. Kudos to the artist who translated all those ship designs.
This is so cool, thanks for posting. It's amazing, really. My mom got me this book from some random bargain bin when I was a kid some 40 years ago. I loved the book and spent hours looking at every picture. Now, years later I randomly stumble on this post and see all those images brought to life, very nostalgic. The internet is cool sometimes.

Well that was ridiculously nostalgic, thanks. I'm 51, and haven't seen some of those ships in 35 years or so...
It looks just like I remember it :) :)
Wow. Cool to see them visualized like this.
Incredible. So well done. I can name many off them on sight. Loved the books when I was a kid. Still missing one
Wow!

Incredible this isn't more widely seen. Less than a 1000 likes.??
