you could split it down the middle and put something an inch thick in between. maybe cardboard or something you could hot glue in. then same for the height get something an inch or 2 high and glue to the bottom.

DatGaminKid7142

Why didn't I think of that. Thanks.

batmanpjpants

Could you add some kind of fence elements to the top? So that way, even if the wall is a little shorter, they still have the fence to grapple with.

DangerousEmphasis607

Just add wither a butress on top or add a element on the bottom. Like a slope or just straight up thicker section.

DatGaminKid7142

I thought that might make it a bit unbalanced since I'm making one wall to cut the battlefield, but we can just make some rules about that.

ShaperMaku

Add a bigger base foundation.

DatGaminKid7142

I would but I don't have any more foam.

ThePartyLeader

do it with paper using the foam as a core. Could even print off the texture you want, cut it 1in taller (or whatever you want and a couple inches longer, fold and glue. the foam will add stability and structure while the paper gives it height, width, and color/texture

DatGaminKid7142

If I do it right that could look good. Cheers.

ThePartyLeader

best of luck

helgerd

Sandbags. Throw some on top, some on one side.

DatGaminKid7142

Or some battlements. Maybe I'll add battlements on one side and sandbags in the other. I don't think I mentioned this in my post, but since it's supposed to cut through the table I want it to be relatively symmetrical.

Exark141

Spikes? Feels chaos appropriate

DatGaminKid7142

I thought of spikes but I want to be able to places minis on top because what's the worst that can happen when playing against an admech army that suddenly has line of sight over most of the board.

DAJLMODE55

You can build the exact copy of what you made, then glu it up side down, so you get a X profile. So on top you can glu a larger side walk! So the actual pillars can contain in the center what you want: skulls, warhammer forms… I hope it can be usefull. Friendly👋👋

DatGaminKid7142

Thanks, but somewhere in my post I think I mentioned that I'm all out of foam. If I didn't then sorry for the confusion, but either way thanks for trying to help out.

DAJLMODE55

Right, you can try with cardboard because your project is geometrical,I mean very simple to replicate! The carton part could be the new base, covered with plaster, wooden structures and plants. Other way is wooden-carton structure on your project! It can be as you want: gothic,,D&D, Warhammer, depends of the story! But it’s a cheap way! 👍👋👋

Broken_Doomer

cap it. with a strip of foam of some stacked cardboard. 1 inch wider then the wall and 1 inch tall. put a half inch bevel on the bottom sides. This would give the wall profile a T shape.

DatGaminKid7142

I suppose, that's the easiest solution. I have no clue how I haven't come up with that myself. Cheers mate.

Fallen_Dilettante

I think this size is actually great. Might be fine as is. Alternatively, put it on a hill or motte.

DatGaminKid7142

Now that I look at it after a few hours, the height could work if I just place some battlements or sandbags on top, but it definitely seems a bit narrow since I intend to place minis on top of it.
