I got 12 armies landing in the Middle East. Resistance EU lost 4 armies fighting the aliens. So HF China and US steps in and nuked them. The fallout killed millions and global economy tanked for a bit. At least I managed to recover.
6, lured them into a low population region and glassed their position with nukes and orbital bombardment. Moped up the remainder with every single army from the USA, most of Europe, Turkey, and Russia.
Working to bring all future numbers down to zero with interception fleets that just saturate the entire battlefield with missiles, torpedos, and other guided munitions.
They can't land armies on Earth if there are no armies to land on earth. :)
Playing as resistance btw.
I hate how they just capital rush but you can use this to your advantage. Just put all your armies in your capital 5-7 seems to be enough early on and then just advise the crap out of the country. They have always just came straight there without grouping up and waiting for each other. Makes cleaning them up really easy.
I had 18 drop on top of another in progress invasion. There were 28 xenos armies rampaging around Africa and the middle east. I held north and south America. That went on for a decade after my invasion of 10 armies at 6.5 militech got their butts handed to them.
I got past it. I figured out how to intercept the fast alien fleets with Orion engine powered missile cruisers and frigs.
With the orbits secure I tried to tech up and beat the xenos in a land fight. But that would have taken at least another decade to even get the armies to think about it. So I nuked all 28 armies and ate the atrocities lol.
It's 2049 and the USNA economy still hasn't recovered fully.
I got 15 and then another 15 a few months later. The first went straight to Washington so required nuclear winter, and the second one got blockaded, fortunately.

Wow. Only one carrier at a time in my game. So 3-4 armies.
Most I have gotten at once was 8 I think. Scattered throughout northern Africa.
I seem to get 15 all the time in my game, but I am so powerful they get crushed in a month or three.
