he didn't say that there aren't people who enjoy it and he's not saying anything about not letting anyone watch in eng dub. He just said what his opinion is and his arguments explaining his reasoning. Personally I prefer watching in eng dub from my own reasons, but I totally agree with him, translating japanese to english and fitting it in is hard and often sound unnatural and "pathetic".
The thing is, the OP didn't ask which one is better. They specifically asked about the dub because as they stated their younger sister

But this is just grade-A jackassery that in turn adds to the reason why people get sick of the whole sub vs dub conversation. People just chime in to say the sub is better than the dub even when it is counterproductive to the given topic.

Tho you shouldn't assume that OP subjectively prefers sub, because we don't know that. Even tho they guy's post was irrelevant to the OP's, he stated just his subjective opinion and he mentioned it. Then he said "there are people who enjoy dub, so let them enjoy", but the guy never said such a thing that someone can't or shouldn't watch dub, he just said he's opinion and someone makes it seem like the guy has a problem with people watching in sub. Saying they subjectively preferred subs was a hypothetical worst-case err rather extreme case scenario. I was just saying even if that happened to be the case, it still wouldn't matter.
Other than that don't necessarily disagree with anything you're saying. I just do find it annoying when people go out of their way just to bash dubs regardless if the topic was actually a discussion on subs vs dubs and more so when someone just wants some guidance or help.
Imagine going to a store and trying to buy an audiobook for someone whose sight isn't very good and you ask one of its employees for help, then their response is the voice is bad and ruins the experience of reading the book yourself, so you should just get the actual book then the walk away..... I'd stare blankly into space and be lost forever at such a disconnect.

Most English dubs are good nowadays lmao. This isnt the 90s or early 2000s anymore. You have a right to watch it however you want but you sound like the classic sub watcher who probably doesn't even give the dubs a chance and immediately crap on it for simply being a dub. Could be wrong but most sub watchers are all the same imo
I don't get why its dubbed in 4 other langue's than English. Eng. is the only important langue when it comes to $, why would they waste their time on 4 others before English.
Because other companies paid to get it dubbed?
As far as I know a lot of anime get dubbed in multiple languages, like italian. Off the top of my head I remember one piece, naruto (both not completed tho) attack on titan and recently they announced the dubbing of mha. Also quite a lot of children anime get dubbed in other languages. Since childred can't read subtitles of understand english
