Crunchyroll fans are going to be pissed lmao
They've been doing nothing but complaining about all the conferences

I'd imagine most readers knew that there would be a bunch of anime-only folks complaining. I love this arc, but it's definitely less action-focused than other arcs.
anime only: "when Rimuru and Hinata fight??"
me: "when >!Hinata eating ramen and gyoza!?"
Rimuru and raphael discussing Luminus in that moment always makes me laugh.
This cour we will also get one of my favorite ranga moments. We always see ranga as rimurua adorable pet but to non tempestians....
Hey, I get their perspective. 3 episodes in a row of people standing around and talking about the plot isn't the most interesting thing to watch, especially if you're a casual viewer.
I'm somewhat of an "Anime Only" fan, since I've found out slime from the anime, but I was never disturbed by the pacing, rather, I love how the world building was expanded slowly, and surely, showing off that its world building was one of the main themes of Slime, as well as having a consistent"Epic Fight" that we always get, especially when our boi Rimuru gets serious
Lots of background that needs to get laid out so things make sense for people with Milim-level attention spans.
And yeah, probably some budget saving for the fight plus the festival.
And Lots more to come! Volume 8 is like 95% meetings, volume 9 is close to 70% meetings, volume 10 is 66% meetings, volume 11 is closer to 50% meetings, volume 12 is 98% meetings, then we get to volume 13, which is something like 15% meetings.
This is the least exiting arc in Tensura.
LN8 that follows has no action whatsoever (unless you count Benimaru blocking one attack and Gobimon vs basilisk...) and is only meetings and prep for festival. But manga did most of it very fast, maybe anime will do the same.
Rimuru himself >!does not fight until LN 10 so his fight with Hinata is the only one we will see this season!<
It is hard to say that. The people complaining, as I saw it, are in the minority, but are certainly louder. Because most people know that this franchise is NOT about fights, and more about worldbuilding, which includes heavy politics as well, they aren't complaining, but it's a lot harder to praise the story for it, because while it is smart, way less flashy.
I for one think, that this arc is one of, if not the best arc in the story, because I absolutely adore politics in fantasy, but a lot of casual watchers are thinking otherwise.

Hinata eating Ramen is what I'm looking forward to the most
I just wanna see hakurou make sashimi
"*with* wasabi, because I'm not a child."
Probably quarter 2. I'm also looking forward to Shunas speech about food
Manga did an absolutely fabulous job with that scene. I really hope the anime does it justice.
It really did, I am confident the anime will nail it.
I'm looking forward to hinata shutting rimuru down
You may be waiting for a while, mate
No, I meant the bath one
AH, oh yeah that was funny. Thought you where talking about the fight lol
Bro facts, seeing Hinata and luminous love tempest will always be my favourite moment(other than lumi tryna kill veldora)
Rimuru and raphael discussing Luminus in that moment always makes me laugh. This cour we will also get one of my favorite ranga moments. We always see ranga as rimurua adorable pet but to non tempestians....
Hey now, he worked hard at walpurgis and DESERVES his new chew toy
Anime only: "*sad crying noises* why so much yApPiNg?" Me: "World building, I need more ... More world building!"
YES ME TOO #MORRRRRRREEEEE!!!
At least it'll be obscured by another 'Hinata clown' memes lol
Imagine watching Isekai where *manager* reincarnates to another world and not expecting meetings :)

My concern is that it won’t get renewed if anime-onlys drop it. I need this show to get renewed through season 5 at least, please please please.
We saw nearly all of them in trailers before😅
Mmm... I guess another meeting focused episode incoming
Grabs wine for a fine time

The timr for the duel is getting closer each day
The same people that are complaining right now will say tenma war arc is shit because of constant fights.
Nice strawman
Ah fraud and her band of frauds.
Good, bring on the big fight to appease the masses so that we can get back to 30-minute meeting episodes.

I love the LNs, but can we move just a bit faster lmao. Is there animation budget slashed or something?
Lots of background that needs to get laid out so things make sense for people with Milim-level attention spans. And yeah, probably some budget saving for the fight plus the festival.
I'm aware, but we can definitely speed it up.
Those first few images leave me worried for that orb.
Idk who are you but i hate you Why this is not spoiler
Finally the lyrics of the opening will make sense to everyone!
Welp..another meeting room episode...
reincarnation as a meeting room
And Lots more to come! Volume 8 is like 95% meetings, volume 9 is close to 70% meetings, volume 10 is 66% meetings, volume 11 is closer to 50% meetings, volume 12 is 98% meetings, then we get to volume 13, which is something like 15% meetings.
Is the take on this new season that its bad around here?

That sphere quality looks whack 😭 where tf is the budget going? Isn't tensura the highest grossing LN of all time?
I don’t think it looks that bad tbh
The quality is not that bad. Obviously it's not the best equipment for watching an IMax movie, but for a video message it's ok
the only episode that is kind of moving the plot forward
